The charging villain managed to knock the other heroes out of their shock as they had been standing rooted to the ground since the major villain showed up. they all charged in, quirks at the ready. Shouta just hopped they had enough sense to call the backup heroes in before they did so.
The underground hero rushed back at the villain, activating his quirk, and threw a low spinning kick to trip All-for-one. The kick hit its mark, and, due to being off balanced due to his chosen quirk deactivating so suddenly, All-for-one fell to the ground. Shouta pounced, but he wasn't quick enough. The super villain was up again apparently using a speed quirk. The underground hero realized that meant he could only cancel one of his quirks at a time. Perfect.
Present Mic sounded off a loud yell, hitting All-for-one, but the villain wasn't fazed. He took the blow, barely reacting, and swatted Hisashi like he was a fly. Midnight tried to use her quirk, but she, along with the rest of the other heroes, got caught in a quicksand quirk, sucking them all up to their necks before Shouta could cancel it.
Luckily, the underground hero had been in a tree, trying to find the best vantage point to keep All-for-one in his sights, but that plan was scrapped as he was the only hero left, at least until backup arrived or one of his friends managed to free themselves.
Shouta activated his quirk and charged in again, but his move didn't work a second time. All-for-one grabbed his arm in a crushing grip and flung him to the ground. The hero would have landed face first if he hadn't rolled in landing to save himself. As it was, his arm felt as though it had been fractured and his shoulder was hurt for the awkwardness of his landing.
This fight was not going well.
But Shouta couldn't let him get to the students and the problem child, it was his job to protect them, and nothing in hell was going to stop him. Eraserhead dusked and weaved around blows, holding his ground against the super villain, but he was taking more hits than he could handle. Soon Shouta's body felt like a massive bruise, but still he kept fighting. Until he heard a strange, guttural roar coming from behind him.
Suddenly, a green blur raced by Shouta and attached itself to All-for-one. The villain het out a start of surprise before fighting back, but the blur was all over him. It was so fast that it took Shouta several moments to realize it was the feral child. The hero now knew what the child meant when he said he was going easy on the students, this was just… savage.
Even All-for-one was struggling to disengage the kid, he kept screaming; "Let go! I order you! Back down! Back to Stillwater!" but nothing worked. The feral child had managed to grab a hold of the villains arm and snap it in two, a healing quirk soon took effect, but it didn't seem to matter as the feral child just kept breaking different things.
'the feal child is trying to wear him out.' Shouta realized with a touch of admiration. It was a good plan, but he would use some help. When the villain activated his healing quirk again, Shouta canceled it leaving All-for-one's shoulder dislocated and every other broken limb still broken.
If the feral child noticed Shouta's help, he didn't show it, just kept attacking. All for one didn't seem to know what to do, he was clearly used to fighting at a distance as he couldn't get and keep a hold of Izuku, nor could he strike him. He could do nothing but struggle and heal, well he could only struggle since Shouta had his healing quirk canceled.
"Stop this! Feral child, you are mine! Stop this now!" Izuku didn't reply, but he did bite the man right where his neck met his shoulder. Shouta recognized it, the opening Izuku had left him. The villain's head was open.
Wasting no time, Eraserhead charged in, launching a flying side kick right into the villain's nose. The feral child let go the moment his foot made contact. All-for-one never stood a chance, he was out like a light. The combination of attacks, with his apparent exhaustion from continuously healing, had knocked the villain out cold. Shouta quickly placed several quirk suppressants on All-for one as Izuku started to dig out his colleagues, apologizing the whole time for having not planned for the super villain showing up.
"Kid you couldn't have known he would show up personally." Shouta called out after having finished securing All-for-one.
"But I should have made a plan just in case, and plus he…" the kid trailed off, looking down and away before speaking up again. "He made me hurt your students. I broke our deal." The last part was whispered so quietly Shouta had to strain to hear it.
"Kid… no." Izuku looked suppressed at this. "I don't know what he made you see, but it wasn't us. You were under the influence of a strong quirk, but you broke out of it, then finished the fight with Japan's number one villain. That's hero stuff in my book kid." Izuku looked like he wanted to disagree but was interrupted by a new voice.
"I quite agree." It was Nezu and all the other on-call heroes. "I was watching the footage of the fight on the way here and I am very impressed, not only did you free yourself from a mental quirk, something that some would say is an impossible feat, you were the one to come up with a strategy to take down a notorious super villain in the heat of battle. You can not claim that is unimpressive."
Izuku didn't seem to know how to respond to the principal of UA, he just gapped with his mouth opening and closing like a fish before shaking himself, as though he could shake away his shock.
"And" the rodent continued. "That is, as my employee stated, hero stuff, and that belongs at UA."
"At UA?" the kid repeated, clearly stunned, causing Nezu to chuckle.
"Yes, at UA. Though it may be more like a rehabilitation program due to your past actions. Villain to hero, the first of many I hope." Shouta knew Nezu was planning to offer Izuku this if he did his part in taking down the villains as he said he would, so this wasn't a surprise to the underground hero.
"But sir, I attacked your school?" Izuku protested, rather weakly.
"Under the influence of the most dangerous villains in Japan, I believe strongly you would never do such a thing again. Besides, this will keep you out of prison and make you the hero I know you can be." Izuku seemed to short circuit at the word 'hero'.
"A… hero?" Izuku spoke in a whisper, as though it were a cruel prank and Nezu would rip all his hope away with a 'just kidding', so Shouta spoke up.
"Yes kid, a hero. We need more good ones. I think you have potential." Izuku smiled at that, finally believing.
"Make no mistake," Nezu warned. "It won't be easy. You will have to make amends for what you have done and fight hard to get your hero license."
Izuku looked at the two with what could only be described as sheer determination. "I'll do it." The heroes smiled at this. This kid was going to be great.

People spoke of the strange figure dressed in green who ran the rooftops. They spoke of his great fighting skills and his ability to take down such strong opponents with ease. They even spoke of his quirk, though no one could seem to agree on what it was. Some claim he must have a speed quirk, others claim it's a mental quirk, but neither side had any proof other than empty theories.
Even stranger, was that no one knew the figures name, not unless you believed the older folks from the undercity. They claim up and down that the figure was the feral child of the undercity, that he had protected them, saved them years ago and that he had returned.
Regardless of who he was, or what his quirk was, all the people of the undercity felt safer at night, knowing a good hero was patrolling their street, one who would really protect them. Feral child or not, Izuku was their hero.
