(The Big Plan)
*September 26th, 1941*

*Highlands High School*
The next day had arrived as news regarding Anya and Cynthia's situation had broken across the school as Anya had to deal with people asking her questions which annoyed her.
"So, Cynthia was pretty much pretending to be you while you were pretending to be her, right? I wish I would have caught on earlier…" Charlotte had asked Anya while taking a bite from her apple as she saw Anya nodding her head in confirmation before opening her mouth to speak.
"Correct, It was mostly so I could sing in her place which I didn't mind however, Judith managed to discover our plan which led to me being grounded for two weeks while Cynthia could face a scandal.." Anya had responded back in a sad tone of voice as she was quickly met with Charlotte's warm hand gently rubbing her back which made her smile.
"Is there any way to convince your parents that It wasn't your fault but rather Judith trying to sabotage you or something? I know It was Cynthia's idea but It's not like she had ill intentions or anything?" Russell had asked Anya as he waited for an answer.
"I did however, I still got grounded since I was out during unreasonable times and was on a date with someone half my age even though I considered it just a hangout" Anya had answered back while Russell nodded his head in understandment.
"I see. But, to change subjects, Have you one of you two seen Nancy? I was hoping she'll be here today but I guess she's sick or something" Russell had asked his two friends as both girls shocked their heads in denial.
"I'm afraid not, I didn't even know she wasn't here today so I'm honestly kinda curious as well" Charlotte had answered back in a rather curious tone of voice as the trio continued to chat amongst themselves for the reminder of the lunch period.
*Lincoln Theatre*
Nancy stood in front of the theatre as she had taken some time to observe the beautiful theatre before eventually entering the building as she made her way towards the resherals room.
"Okay, Cynthia should be alone in this room since her two friends are having lunch in the dining room.." Nancy had thought to herself as she opened the door to see Cynthia practicing for the big show tonight which made her smile.
"Hey, I'm glad you came! Please have a seat while I get you somethin to eat then we'll talk about our plan in further detail" Cynthia had spoken to Nancy as she let out a smile on her face as she hopped from the auditorium to give her friend a hug.
"It's great to see you and that would be wonderful so please take your time, okay?" Nancy had advised to her friend as she was met with Cynthia nodding her head in understandment before eventually leaving the auditorium to get some food for Nancy.
Cynthia powered walked across the hallway until she had reached her destination and once she did, Cynthia had heard Mrs Miller and Robert having a conversation amongst themselves which caused her to pear her ear towards the door so she could hear the conversation more clearer.
*Dining Room*
"I don't know, at times It just feels like Cynthia doesn't love me or rather, has been cold to me for the past few days like I feel like she's becoming more cold and distant…" Robert had ranted to Mrs Miller in a sad tone of voice as he paced back and forth while Mrs Miller began to speak.
"I believe she still loves you, It's just she's been busy with her own career and life to the point where she unfortunately rarely has time for you so please don't worry too much about it" Mrs Miller had advised her young friend in a tone of concern as she sipped on some coffee.
"I know, I know. It's just me probably being overdramatic and whatnot but I just feel like nothing is working out, I think I should just break up…" Robert had spoken back as before he could say anymore, Mrs Miller had quickly intervened by opening her mouth to speak.
"Hey, If that's how you truly feel then PLEASE communicate how you feel since bottling it up is just not gonna make things better but rather worse so go out there and discuss it with Cynthia, okay?" Mrs Miller had advised Robert in a serious tone of voice in hopes of motivating him into talking to his girlfriend and much to her luck, the door opened to reveal Cynthia who had been listening the entire time as this surprised the both of them.
"B-Babe?! I didn't expect to see you here, H-How has your day been going?" Robert had asked his girlfriend while waiting for his answer as Cynthia began to speak.
"My day has been going good and I've heard you and Mrs Miller's conversation regarding our relationship, right? If you gotta tell me something then please do so, that way, we could fix things and improve on our relationship, I know I've been distant due to my careers lately and that's no excuse since I should be able to make more time for you but I just wanted to say sorry for everything, I was afraid to sing so I decided to switch places with Anya and I'm also sorry for being cold towards you…" Cynthia had apologized to Robert as she waited for a response from her boyfriend.
"It's okay, I'm also sorry for being troublesome as well, I'm not the perfect boyfriend or anything but I just want to spend time with you and only you so, Would you wanna take a nice vacation together in San Francisco, just me and you…" Robert had offered to his girlfriend as he walked over to gently grab Cynthia's hands as both of them looked each other into their eyes.
"It's okay, babe, and I would love to go on vacation with you as well and just know that I'm always here to help you grow and change as a person.." Cynthia had spoken back as she and Robert shared a romantic kiss together while Mrs Miller watched everything with a smile on her face as the couple released each other from the kiss.
"I'm glad you two had made up ,however, the next issue is that we must deal with the media and their annoying goons so we must convince them to back off before things get any worse" Mrs Miller had advised the couple as she was met with nods of agreement.
"Damn it, this is all Judith's fault! If she would had kept her mouth shut than none of this would had never happened!" Cynthia had spoken back in an annoyed tone of voice while Mrs Miller and Robert nodded their heads in agreement.
"I'm not too keen on getting back at people or anything but there has to be a way to make sure she doesn't do things like this ever again" Robert had pondered as there was suddenly a knock on the door which alerted everyone in the room.
"Please come in…" Mrs Miller had spoken out as she and the others saw the door opening to reveal Nancy which surprised her and Robert.
"Good Afternoon, My name is Nancy. me and Cynthia were actually thinking of a way to get back at Judith and to ensure that Anya gets ungrounded as well, anyone care to listen?" Nancy had spoken out to the pair while walking over to sit down at one of the tables.
"I know Judith is my daughter and whatnot but I'm also curious to hear your plan.." Mrs Miller had spoken out in curiosity while taking a seat as well so she could hear for a further explanation.
"So, It's actually something we've discussed last night and the plan is to pretty much have Anya continue to sing in place of myself, right? Once the show is over then I'm sure that Judith would have her suspicions and check on Anya to see if she's really me then this would be a good opening for you to catch her in the act" Cynthia had explained to Mrs Miller and Robert as they've expressed interest regarding the plan.
"I see, that could work but how do we get Anya from her home? I don't want her parents to be worried sick or anything" Robert had asked his girlfriend and Nancy while waiting for a response.
"Oh, we already got that figured out.." Nancy had responded back as she let out a smile indicating that she knew exactly what she had planned.
*9:25pm*
A few hours had passed since the discussions as the theatre was filled with lively people awaiting Cynthia's big performance while Nancy and Robert, who were wearing fancy clothes, were sitting in the auditorium.
"It sucks I won't be able to hear my baby sing but I have a feeling that Anya could actually blow this out of the water" Robert had spoken to Nancy while she nodded her head in agreement.
"Anya is a good singer so I have faith that she'll do a good job but I'm also surprised we've managed to convince Anya's parents to allow her to sing in Cynthia's place" Nancy had spoken back as she was also curious to see how things went down while Robert nodded his head in agreement as he looked over to see Mrs Miller walking up towards the stage.
"Good Evening, everyone. I just want to thank everyone for coming and giving us your time and energy, I truly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart but without further ado, Please welcome, Cynthia!" Mrs Miller had spoken out as this was followed with the audience cheering with joy as the curtains opened to reveal Anya, disguised as Cynthia, appearing from the curtains with a huge smile on her face.
