A few weeks later

"Mom! Where are you?" Adrien shouted looking around for his mother. He stopped when he saw her a few feet away. "M-mom?"

Emilie smiled "Come here honey" she opened her arms and the blonde boy jumped into them, sobbing.

"Mom, you're back! I can't believe it" He cried. Emilie smiled softly

"I would never leave you my sweet boy" She whispered

"But you did leave me"

Emilie started to stroke his hair, "I love you so much, Adrien. You know that, right?" Adrien nodded.

"Of course I do. And I love you too, mom" Adrien said, cuddling closer to his mother, feeling her warmth. She smelled like flowers.

"I need to go, sunshine"

Adrien glanced up at her, "What do you mean?" Emilie just shook her head and slowly stood up, Adrien standing up with her. "Mom. What. Do. You. Mean."

She kissed the blonde on his forehead, gave him one last smile, then faded into the darkness.

"Mom!" Adrien screamed, running to where she was a second ago. Darkness began to surround him. "No no no! mom!"

He woke up dripping in sweat. He glanced at the clock. 2:43 a.m. He rolled over, and began to cry. His pillow, having the faint sent of flowers.

"The other night, dear; As I lay sleeping I dreamed I held you in my arms; When I awoke, dear; I was mistaken; So I hung my head and I cried."
