(Gabriel P.O.V)
"Emilie, you selfish idiot!" Gabriel yelled, slamming his fist down on his desk. "Look at what you've done" He sank to the ground, tears finally falling. "I don't have anything anymore. I don't have you anymore"
"Sir?"
Gabriel looked up to see his personal assistant standing at the door. "Leave!" He bellowed pointing to the door. Nathalie ignored him, and went to his side and wrapped him in a hug. No words were said, and none were needed. They both missed Emilie deeply, and needed to be comforted.

"Sir, it's been to long, you need to talk to him"
Gabriel glared at the woman, "You out of all people are not allowed talk about my son" he snapped "You know nothing"
Nathalie glared back, "I know that you've been ignoring him since Emilie's death"
"Don't say her name!" He shouted, turning away from her, "You need to leave now, if you value your job."
He heard the clicking of her high heels on the tiled floor and the slam of the front door, indicating that she left. He let out a deep sigh. Yes, it was true, he was ignoring Adrien. It wasn't fair though. His heart hurt every time he looked at him. A mixture of guilt and sorrow.
Adrien looked just like his mother. Adrien caused the death of his mother. Gabriel pinned the blame on his son.
It was Emilie's choice. She was selfish and wanted a child. Gabriel and Emilie weren't able to have children, so Gabriel and Emilie went to the only source they thought that was left. Magic.
It wasn't Emilie's fault or Adriens. It was his.
He sought out the magic. He booked the plane tickets to Tibet. He told her to keep going, to not give up.
He told himself that she would get better. That it was always going to be the three of them. Oh how wrong he was.
It was his fault and he was to blame. Maybe he was ignoring his son. Or maybe protecting Adrien from the monster Gabriel knew that he was.
