Grand Noah starts changing things

Ryan pov

After that little chase ended (which resulted in me getting 10 hits on the bum. ow.) We continued our way to Grand Noah where we would compete in the Queen's Cup to get the green orb. Ever since we left the desert, I noticed something or someone watching us. Whenever we stopped it stopped. Whenever I try to find it, it disappears. But unfortunately for whatever following us it left something behind, angel energy not a lot of it but just enough to where you could tell.

"Luka, are we going to do anything about our little watcher?" I whispered to him as we walked on a trail. Alice was ahead of us slightly so she didn't hear us and Yasaka was on the top of my head in her fox form.

"Nothing for now. If we make a move they'll know something's up and I'd rather them not know anything about how we know they're following us. It would raise an alarm, so for now just leave them be." Sighing knowing he was right we continued on.

After around 3 to 4 days later we are about two more days away from Grand Noah. Around that time me and Luka trained, with him learning to master the spirits and me basically doing the same but without anyone seeing me. We learned that Alice truly can really be a child when she loses. Lost to what you may ask? Well…

Flashback - 2nd day

We all were there sitting down trying to figure out something to do. Me and Luka trained for most of the day and were bored. Until I remembered I had come prepared for situations like these.

"Hey guys wanna play a game?" I asked, causing everyone to look at me. I reached into my bag and grabbed a deck of cards that had the words Uno on them.

"A card game?" Alice asked, looking at the cards. I opened the bag and started shuffling the cards.

"Not just any card game, this is Uno. The point of this game is to run out of cards. Once you have one card left, call out Uno and then put that last card down when it's your turn again, simple as that really." I explained. We played about 3 rounds before Gnome and Sylph joined. 15 games later Alice is pouting and wrapped around Luka, trying to convince him to help her win. The score was I had 4, Luka had 3, Yasaka had 3, Sylph had 2, and Gnome had 3, that left Alice with zero. We played a total of 20 rounds and not a single one did Alice win, which caused her to drag Luka into they're shared tent and went to bed. And from pretty much that point forward we always played Uno after eating dinner.

End of Flashback

Anyways, Alice's little losing streak behind us continued on forward. I noticed that as we were traveling there weren't many monsters around, in fact we spotted one monster that was nearby yesterday and when she saw us she got this terrified look on her face before bolting. That raised some alarm bells, but for now we kept going while keeping an eye out for anything strange.

The sun was starting to set so we decided to set up camp before we heard a loud "HELP!" not too far away. Running towards that direction we saw 5 men surrounding a minotaur, and two frog girls with chains. They men had cloaks on and weapons on hand.

"Oi! Leave them alone!" Luka yelled as we're now standing in front of them.

"Eh? The hell are a couple of kids doing here? Get out of here scram you nosy brats!" One of them yelled. Taking a look around I saw they had a carriage next to them and a cage big enough to hold the likes of even the spider queen.

"Doesn't matter why we're out here! What the hell were you going to do to them!?" I yelled, all the men did was snicker.

"Well kiddies, once we have what we need from these 'people' we are going to have a little fun~. Right boys?" The man in the middle says with a laugh and all of his little cronies laughed along with him.

"Well too bad! Cause you're not doing anything to them!" Luka yelled, then he launched himself towards the ones on the left. I followed up and attacked the ones on the right. Honestly these guys are paper work, their slashes are sloppy, their movement is slow as shit, and to top it all off their boss is such a wimp that he was done in one punch.

"Better leave shit heads or else the beatdown is going to get way worse!" I yelled.

The men paled before running off. "Y-You won't g-get away with this you brats!" One said before all them ran out of sight.

'Wait that direction their heading is to Grand Noah… *sigh* well whatever. We will deal with them later' I thought before turning to the minotaur and frog girls. "You guys ok?" I ask. The monster girls are shivering and not responding to anything just looking at me and Luka like we were going to do anything.

"Hey it's alright. We promise we don't want to hurt you, can you tell us why those guys were trying to get you three?" Luka said leaking out some holy energy, which normally repels monster girls but thanks to our training we can use it to have a sort of calming effect on someone. The monster girls eventually stop shivering before the minotaur starts to talk.

"W-Well y-you see… monsters have been disappearing lately around here. First it was just maybe two or three at a time, but now it's escalated to about 6 or 7." She stated, causing us to widen our eyes but we motion for her to continue. "We first thought that monsters were just leaving, but that soon changed when men started kidnapping them. Bounding them in steel cages like the one right there before hauling them off somewhere."

Ok, what? Just what? This never happened! Why the hell are people just randomly kidnapping monsters?! And on that note…

"Say how did that do that? Aren't most monsters stronger than humans? So how did they manage to kidnap so many?" I asked. Theoretically if humans tried to capture that many monsters they either must have out numbered or overpowered them.

"Well before you arrived they used some type of weapon on us." The minotaur said before pointing to a dagger that lay forgotten. Luka walked over to it and examined it for a bit.

"By chance do you think something was coating the blade? Aside from the little bit of a weird handle, there isn't anything different than a normal dagger." Luka questioned. He was right, the blade aside from the handle was normal.

"Well it looked a lot more shiny when we first saw it." One of the frog girls spoke up.

"Yeah it was weird, but the color looked almost gooey or silver." The other one added.

'So we've got a strange almost gooey substance on a normal looking dagger. Which also has the power to zap monster girls of their energy. Strange…' I thought before noticing Alice and Yasaka walking over. "Where were you two?"

"Well we decided to check the surrounding area and look at what we stumbled upon." Yasaka said before holding up four more of these daggers. All with those weird looking handles, but all of them also had little pieces of blood and skin on them. They had been used, but why leave the dagger?

"And that's not the only thing either. Next to all of them were tracks that looked like wheel tracks and wide tracks that match that of the cage." Alice said slithering close to the cage before licking it…okaaaaay. "Definitely has magic on it, probably to seal away monster magic and strength." She stated. How the hell was able to get all that from just licking it?

"Well it seems we won't be solving this for now." Luka said, turning to the monster girls. "Will you guys be fine?"

"Yes, I can already feel my energy slowly returning and I got hit before these two. They will come with me to my home not far from here. Thank you for helping us." The minotaur said before she and the frog girls left with a wave and headed in a direction, probably to the minotaur's home.

"Let's camp here shall we? It's night and I'm hungry." Alice said, causing us to deadpan at her and her gluttony. "And you know what? Since I feel generous I will be cooking tonight." Oh dear god help.

Luka pov

As expected Alice can't cook worth shit. Then I got 'guilt tripped' by her to hopefully get to Yamatai. Ahh, well her pout was quite cute so it's fine. After that little discussion we decided to play Uno once more, and got to say this is the closest Alice has ever been to winning.

"UNO!" Alice said,putting down a yellow two. Got to hand it to her, she's been playing well.

"Hey so everyone has a +4 in their hand besides Alice right?" Sylph said with a devilish grin that was soon shared with everyone besides Gnome and I. With that confirmation she laid down a +4, which soon turned into a +8, +12, +16. I had another +4 in my hand, but looked at Alice to see her face.

Alice had a pout and slight tears in her eyes. I groaned thinking of my options. Mercy or No Mercy, were the options. Ahhh, why is it always me? … FUCK IT! I reached over and started drawing cards.

"NO! LUKA WHY?!" Sylph screeched. I just shrugged before turning to Gnome who was next to me.

"What's the color Gnome?" I asked the earth spirit. She looked at Alice before pointing to her card. Alice taking the memo slowly revealed that it was a blue nine. Gnome with a nod pointed at the blue on the +4 which in turn made Alice's face brighten up.

"UNO OUT!" Alice yelled before slamming down her blue nine down. I chuckled as Alice started doing a little happy dance. Sylph was crying which revealed she had two wild cards left, so she would have won had it been dragged out longer.

"Alright alright Alice, we get it but I would say it's about time to go to sleep." I said, pulling the giddy Alice towards our tent as Ryan and Yasaka go into their combined tent, while the spirits head back into my head.

Laying down I get ready to sleep. Alice slithers close before wrapping around me and laying down next to me. "Alice?" I ask as she moves closer until my entire lower body and part of waist is encased in her tail.

"You're comfy, so I'm sleeping next to you." She said, burying her head over my shoulder. I could feel her breasts pressed on my chest as she shifted to get comfortable.

'Yeah more like sleeping on top of me.' I deadpanned before hearing Alice talk.

"Thank you for letting me win, you didn't have to so… thanks." She said, I smiled before wrapping my arms around her and pulling her closer. She stiffened before snuggling in closer, slightly enveloping my head into her chest which somehow shifted into my face without me noticing. I decided to just snuggle closer before drifting off to sleep.

Luka dream.

"Luka… oh brave Luka." I heard a voice call out.

'Great just what I needed' and low and behold there she was, my grandma, Ilias.

"I-Ilias!" I exclaimed in a fake surprised tone. Why did she decide to show up now of all times?

"Oh brave Luka, you must not fall to the monster lord's temptations. She is trying to bewitch you and sway your allegiance to her." Ilias spoke, giving a concerning tone. I could only lightly scoff. 'Since when was I ever part of your allegiance?'

"I-I won't…" I say even though venom is slowly seeping into my voice as we continue talking. Ilias either didn't pick up on it or didn't notice, but she nodded her head before my dream ended and me waking up back to reality.

Luka's dream ends

The sound of soft breathing was the first thing that I heard. I tried shaking my head only to find that it was surrounded by two soft 'pillows'. Groan was heard next to me. I turned my head to see Alice's sleeping face, and got to admit it was kinda cute.

'As much as I would love to look at her sleep, how am I going to get out of this situation?'I thought.

Now mind you the situation wasn't bad or unpleasant, it was simply that we had things two do today. Hopefully by the end of the day we are already at Grand Noah, so I need to wake her up somehow. Deciding that instead of breaking out with pure strength (Which would probably raise an eyebrow from Ilias), I would use the same tactic from when we were camping in front of Witch Hunt Village.

Managing to wiggle my arms loose I reached one of my hands behind and grabbed Alice's tail more specifically the tip. My other hand snaked around her back, then I maneuvered my head to be right next to her ear.

"Alice~, wake uuuup." I say while teasing her tail getting a cute little groan from her before snuggling even closer. "Well if that's how you wanna play then fine. Time for a wake up call~!" I say in a sing-song voice, 'huh I sound like Alma… disturbing.'

Alma pov

'I wonder where Granberia is? I need to find her since I've got a little proposition for her.' I thought about roaming the halls of the monster lord's castle. Soon I pick up on the sound of loud grunts and a heavy breathing. 'Of course that's were she is.' I only rolled my eyes before walking into the training grounds where Granberia is practicing, sweat running down her face.

"Hello Granberia~! What ya doing~?" I asked her, which came with an added groan. "Hey, that's not nice~. I just wanted to ask you something." I pouted.

"What is it?" Granberia said, stabbing her sword into the ground and wiping her face off with a nearby towel. I handed her a poster I recently just got, which I thought might interest her. "'The Queen's cup with a twist. In this year's Queen's cup instead of just one on one it will be two on two.'" Granberia read aloud.

"So Granberia, as you can see it's a two on two. And I was hoping -" I started saying before she cut me off.

"No. I won't waste my time fighting some random monsters or some men trying to get their dicks wet." She said, picking up her sword and turning away. I sighed and started to leave. But I had one last trick up my sleeve.

"Oh, that's a shame. Oh well I'll tell Luka and Ryan you say hi." From the sound of her feet hitting the ground, I knew I had her. Now to reel her in.

"What do you mean?" She said as I turned around to see had stopped to look at me once more.

"Well that's the thing Granberia, look at the reward." I told her. She looked at the poster once more, reading it aloud.

"400 gold coins, 50% discount on all shops and restaurants for a year, and finally th- WHAT THE!" Granberia yelled reading that last one.

I walked closer to her before wrapping my arms around her. "Uh huh, the reward is none other than the green orb, which if I remember correctly is the only way for Luka-boy and Ryan to have a chance of making it here on Hellgondo." I say with a big grin on my face. "So what do you say? Are you going to stay up here and be bored to death, or would you rather go fight one of the more interesting people this world has to offer?"

Granberia looks at me for a bit before a grin starts to make its way onto her face. "Alright deal. But…" Her face turns serious as she says this "Luka is mine to fight. Got it?" She says with an underlying threat in her tone that maybe she doesn't even realize.

"Ok. But is there a reason behind that?" I ask which got a reaction I never thought I would see except in our 'spars', a blush was working onto her face slowly but surely. "Oh? Does someone have a crush on Luka~?" I teased her by jumping on her back.

"SH-SHUT UP! W-when is it?" She yelled, throwing me off her. Had to stabilize myself or else I would crash head first into a wall head first.

"Well that was rude." I say dusting myself off. "Anyways, it starts in about a week. So will you be there Granberia?" Granberia narrowed her eyes and turned around.

"I will be there. But remember what I said." Granberia said, picking up her sword and started training again.

"Whatever you say, but if that's the case… Ryan's mine. Kay~?" I say to only get a grunt in response. I walked over to the door before letting out a sneeze. "Achoo!". ``Weird, I don't have a cold or anything. Maybe Ryan's talking about me~. Hehe' I giggled before leaving Granberia to her training.

Luka pov

Well she is awake now, although I better be careful or else she might follow up on what she said earlier… not that I would mind much I guess.

Flashback

"Time for a wake up call~!" I say before grabbing the tip of Alice's tail rubbing it. From the way Alice shivered for a brief second before groaning a bit I say she likes it. Not stopping there my other hand decides to travel to her spine and tracing little circles on her back.

"Aliceee~ Wake up or else I'm gonna make you scream~." I said into her ear. Alice started shifting even more but still not waking up. "Come on if you wake up we can leave and I know you want to try so many different foods. Or do I have to keep playing with you?" I say now trailing a finger up her spine all the way to her breasts. Alice started groaning way more and her grip started to loosen. Time for the finishing blow.

"Or maybe you don't want that~ I heard all the things you say when you sleep. Always saying I was tastier than any food you had~. If you wanted some you could have asked, you know, but I guess Ryan is right. You're a tsundere, and you know what? I like that part of you." I say finally before blowing into her ear. The reaction was way more different than I thought. First her body started to shake before shaking turned into her body arching. And finally her eyes opened, though they looked dazed as if her mind completely shut down on her, and by the clear fluid trickling down her tail I say it definitely did.

Two minutes later Alice's mind seemed to start up again. "Uhh… Luka?" She said, wiping her eyes. Before I could answer she seemed to notice the liquid flowing down from her. "Luka…" Alice said quietly. I gulped before answering.

"Um, so you wouldn't wake up so… yeah" I said scratching my head. Alice only was quiet before looking up again.

"Next time I wake up like this, We're going to have some fun~" She said, her tail wrapping around my waist. I only sighed but smiled and nodded. "Pervert" She scoffed but what do I spy looking at her face? A blush spanning from cheek to cheek.

Flashback over

After that little moment we ate breakfast and were on our way to Grand Noah. I think whatever is going on seems to have scared off most of the monsters. The frog girls seemed to have gotten home since we passed a pond and they waved at us. The only monster we fought was one horny centaur, but that's it. I pray that whatever is happening we can stop it soon or at least stop it for now.

We arrived at Grand Noah pretty with the sun setting. I loved the sight I got to see. Humans and monsters walking around peacefully, their presence to each other not affecting their lives. Because of this Alice and Yasaka are in their true forms and no one seems to care. For some reason looking at the monster girls they looked sad or on guard, when humans went to talk to them they flinched before acting as nothing was wrong but the humans noticed it too. Deciding too explore around we split up in pairs with me and Alice walking one way, and Ryan and Yasaka another. We spent maybe around 20 or 30 mins walking around before Alice saw something in a store she might like.

"Hey Luka. I-I want that…" Alice said softly pointing to a section of a store for monsters. It was a cute black ribbon that is supposed to go on the tail of a monster. I looked at her for a bit before deciding to nod my head and buy it for her. She looked cute with the way she swinged her tail back and forth.

Besides that we didn't learn much else… oh yeah we met Amira and she gave us a bit of info about Undine, but nothing else. We decided to go to a nearby inn and rest for the night… Alice's plant was weird though.

The next day we headed towards the coliseum, all the while Alice was wondering what to eat from the food stands. For whatever reason the tickets were not much which left even some of the more frequent visitors from the looks of it confused. But it's those visitors that left me stumped. You see they were all female, which on its own would be suspicious. But the thing is there wasn't a SINGLE male here besides me and Ryan.

'Where the hell is the male population? Or…' I thought, looking over towards Ryan who seemed to have an annoyed expression. Once we got in our seats it was then I grasped just how many women showed up. ALL OF THE SEATS WERE FILLED WITH WOMEN! Ryan, me, and Yasaka had our jaws hanging at this. Like come on!? Not a single other male in this entire coliseum!?

Alice was too busy stuffing her face which caused a woman next to her to look on in mild disgust. "I-I'm sorry…" I said looking over to the woman. The woman looked over and just waved her hand.

"It's no problem. I'm hoping to see at least a decent fight here though." The woman said. The match started soon with a minotaur appearing from one entrance while a centaur. The match was one sided with the minotaur being on the receiving end of all the attacks since the centaur was faster.

"She's luring her in" I say looking at the battle. This gets an eyebrow raise from the woman next to us.

"Inviting?" She asked.

"Yeah, or in other words a trap. Since the centaur is fast she will certainly be able to just keep dodging. So the minotaur is hoping to wait for an opening to hit her, which will probably end in a one shot." Ryan finished explaining. The noble woman was seemingly shocked but refocused into the match.

And just like we predicted the minotaur is looking for the opening and she gets it when the centaur tries for a feint which leaves her wide open for a good smack to the stomach sending her into a wall.

"Well I'll be, you two were right." The noble woman said. "Are you perhaps skilled warriors yourself?" . Well I mean technically we are, but for appearance wise I say we are about five out of ten.

"Kinda… ooh the next match is starting." I told her before noticing the next match was beginning. This time it was Dullahan against a human.

{Hey bro. Is it me or are the women here all of a sudden getting very excited.} I mentally asked Ryan, noticing how many women seemed to be more excited for this match than the other. That was until I noticed Ryan's face was in disgust.

{Just watch. We're about to leave.} He said honestly I was trying to wrap my head around what's got him mad. The match was over in seconds and soon bright lights filled the arena and the crowd went nuts. I thought some type of performance was going to be done until the crowd started chanting.

"Rape! Rape!" The crowd of women started chanting. I now remember what the hell happens and why bro seemingly hates the coliseum. The most men in the city willingly go into the coliseum and lose on purpose just to have sex with a monster girl, and to add the cherry on top one of us has to compete in this so… great.

Sighing the noblewoman who I now remember is the queen of Grand Noah stands up and looks at us. "I wish not to stay any longer and watch this match. I would like to speak with you if you don't mind." Nodding our heads we leave the coliseum with sounds of the crowd and the man's moans behind us.

Ryan pov

As like in the game the queen basically walks up to the castle like she owns the place (and she does) and the guards are there to greet her. She leads to a room before leaving to change clothes then returning.

"As you saw, what used to be the country's proud coliseum has turned into something horrible. What used to be a place where warriors would clash is now nothing more than a place where there is more sex than actually fighting." The grand Noah Queen said, sighing. "Monsters always win and any time there is a human fighter it ends like you saw earlier. I took the throne fifteen years ago and there hasn't been a human victor yet. I have nothing against monsters but it is still depressing." The queen ranted.

"Yeah, that sounds fucking horrible." I say which earns me a slap to the head by Yasaka. "Ow."

The queen chuckles a bit before speaking. "And if you noticed how the audience was in the stadium, then you realize that they care nothing of the fight, but for the rape instead. It's sad what this has turned into. Hell! We even have some of the men sign up just for that!" She yells before messaging her forehead. But her expression brightened a bit before she looked at us. "I can't stop what the populace wants, but I can find people to help my dream come true. People like you two."

I raised an eyebrow at that. "Us? Why?"

"You two seem to be very skilled warriors. So I have a request. Every 4 years the queen's cup is held and in a week I would like you two to participate in it and hopefully make my dream come true." She said and we know where she is going with this.

"Your wish must be that you want a human winner, correct?" Luka said, gaining a nod from the queen.

"Correct and for this year's prize we are giving away a royal family treasure, the green orb." At the name of the orb we perked up just a bit. "But there is one thing you must know first."

"And that is…" I asked because for whatever reason I have a bad feeling about this.

"In this year's queen cup, instead of the normal one against one it will be two against two." She said which raised some alarms in my head.

'Damn! This is bad! I really hope that doesn't mean we have to deal with more than just Alma Elma.' I thought. I regained my composure just in time before anyone noticed, but was now on edge on how different things could be.

"It's fine, we will do it. Shouldn't be a sweat right bro?" I say letting out a smirk towards Luka who returned it.

"Great! This makes you the sixth's pair!" The queen said which made us sweatdrop at how really desperate she was to gain another chance at a human winner. We signed up for the tournament and left back to our inn for the day.

"So Ryan, training?" Luka says as we are two steps away from the inn. Seeing as there was still sunlight to burn we nodded before finding the nearest sparring grounds to use as practice.

Meanwhile in an undisclosed location…

"So are you telling me you ran away from two BOYS and couldn't get me more monsters?" A figure asked the five men who Ryan and Luka fought earlier.

"B-boss, those w-weren't ordinary kids. They had some crazy strength on them!" One of them said with the others agreeing.

"Oh really? And pray tell, why didn't you use those knives I gave you?" The figure asked sweetly, causing the grunts to gulp loudly.

"W-We u-used t-them all." Another one of the men said. The figure started humming before snapping her fingers.

"Alright then. Well here's the deal. You're going to find those boys and bring them to me. And if you can't get me, give me someone close to them. And if you fail… well we know what happens to failures right?" The figure said it caused all five men to quiver and shake uncontrollably. "Freshen yourselves up. Tomorrow I want you to look for them and monitor their movements before capturing them. Now go."

The men hurriedly picked themselves up and ran out the room. The figure in the dark simply just started humming again before walking out of a different exit of the room.

Hey guys sorry for the long wait. I'm not going to bore you with any details so to wrap it up in one word, school. Yeah that's it. Anyways like I said in previous chapters from here on out things are going to get a wee bit dark and just a wee bit more m rated than just the sex scenes. I'm still taking suggestions for the harems for Ryan and Luka but they're going to have a cap of 10 or 12 (For now). And I might start doing anime type style intros. But hey last thing is I will never stop uploading this. I have made it my goal to finish this no matter what. The only time I would stop is if I had to reboot it.
