It was the dead of night as a younger King Prince slept peacefully in his bed. While home life was anything but good, dreaming helped King get through his days easier, after all, he could live in a world where it was just his mom and his siblings... to him at the time... that sounded perfect. Unfortunately for the young Prince, his world would soon change in the worst possible way.

A servant opened the door to King's room and shook the boy awake, causing him to groggily wake up.

"Huh?" King dizzily got up, "W-what is it right now? Does father need me for something?"

"No master King, I'm afraid I have terrible news to tell you..." The servant let out, "I am truly sorry about this."

Those words made King shoot up out of bed, what could be terrible news? Did father want to punish him? Did he do something wrong? King thought of millions of different thoughts as he waited for the news to hit him, "What... what is it?"

"Master Narcisso has... gone missing..." The servant replied, "Not too long before he went missing he was caught trying to run away... but something got in the way before anyone could take him back to his room, and he presumably left with Mai."

"He took the maid and he... left me here to suffer?" King felt his stomach drop, he assumed that Narcisso cared about him, so how could he just up and abandon him in the middle of the night? "A-anything else you need to tell me?"

The servant let out a deep sigh, "Yes... there, unfortunately, is nothing but horrible news... master Edna's mental health... something's wrong with her, she's begun to act like a wild animal... we aren't sure of what happened..."

Another beat hit King in the stomach, his dreams of being happy with his family were slowly fading away from him... but if Narcisso and Edna were both leaving him... that only left one other person he truly cared about... "What about mother?" King let out with a panicked tone, "Don't tell me I'm losing her... please..."

"Master... it would be best to tell you in the morning..." The servant looked away from King.

King shot up in rage, "NO! Tell me right now what's happening!" King ordered.

The servant closed her eyes in sadness as she began to tell King what happened...

"How truly revolting," King's father spoke to a 'doctor' as he looked out a window, "I always knew Narcisso was a failure, but I figured he at least had enough sense to not try running away. Oh well, if he wants to live out his life as a miserable excuse for a Prince family member who will soon be forgotten, so be i-"

"FATHER!" King threw open the door in a fit of rage, "YOU MURDEROUS BASTARD!" King screamed at his father, who simply looked back at King like he was a child throwing a tantrum.

Father kept his emotionless stare up, "What is it you want? Have you come to be a disappointment as usual?"

"You. murdered. her." King's eye twitched in rage, "I can't prove it... but I know you did it..." King spoke through gritted teeth.

"Murdered who? Your mother?" Father simply raised an eyebrow, "You're simply incorrect about that. She died in her sleep, what was it you called it doctor? SADS?" Father asked the 'doctor', who nodded in response, "If you want to throw out more pointless accusations, please do something that at least makes some sort of logical sense... then again, I wouldn't expect a failure like yourself to know the difference between fictitious thoughts and reality. Katherine," Father ordered a maid, "Please take King back to his room, he's clearly having sleep-deprived hallucinations."

Katherine nodded as she grabbed King by the arm to take him back to his room. While King could've put up a fight and done something, he was too busy thinking about how much he truly he hated his father to actually do anything. All that he did was give his dad the biggest death stare known to man...

But even then... one thought began to start intruding King's mind... something he was denying as an intrusive thought at the time but he would grow to accept... and that thought was 'I outlasted the other two... I'm... perfect..."
