The Aftermath
Hiruzen Sarutobi had never had any thoughts of betrayal to his village but after the events that occurred only a few hours ago that has changed. An Anbu shunshined into the small office the Hokage was in.
"Hokage-sama the council wishes to have a meeting with you urgently"
"Tell them I will be there when I have the time."
"Yes Hokage-sama."
The aged man watched the Anbu leave followed by the man turning his head to look out the large window on the back wall of the room only to see large crowds all over the villagers rioting for the capture and murde of one Uzumaki Naruto.
Council Chambers 2 Hours Later
"Why do you wish for me to send my ninjas after Naruto." The elderly Hokage asked in a bitter tone.
"Hokage-sama, we all saw what the demon did. We all watched him kill that Anbu without mercy." One of the civilian councilors argued.
The Hokage started,"I cannot send any ninjas after him even if I wanted to."
"Why is that Hokage-sama?" Questioned Koharu.
"Because he was not a member of this village when you people tried to have him killed." The old Sarutobi stated.
"What do you mean he wasn't a member of the village?" Shukakku asked.
"I banished him"
After the Hokage answered the lazy genius's question the council bursted into an outrage.
"He wasn't banished, the council did not vote for that things banishment we voted for the demon's death." The same fat civial who called for Naruto's execution howled.
"Did all of you forget who the Hokage is! I am the one who runs the village, not this council! You are all only advisors to my rule!" Roared out the wizened man.
The council went silent after The Hokage's declaration, the councilors continued to watch the Hokage as he stood and walked to the doors.
Deep Under Kohnoha
"That damn fool doesn't he see that the boy is a threat. We could have avoided this if he had handed the boy to me to be trained as the weapon he was made to be." Danzo muttered to himself in a rare show of emotion.
The root anbu in front of the fuming man stood in silence as he barked out orders.
"Go and hunt the thing down and kill him on site."
The Anbus all saluted their commander and left to fulfill their orders.
With Naruto
It had been a few days since Naruto had fled from Kohonohas walls and was attempting to get out of Fire Country. Naruto hadn't been able to get much sleep as he was running through the events that had happened on that day. He couldn't believe how the same people he went to the academy with would be happy to see him killed, well not all of them he saw how Shikamaru and Choji looked ashamed of their villages actions and how Hinata had been crying. What had been really surprising was Ino, she was never particularly nice to him in the academy but had never been demeaning like Sasuke or hit him like Sakura. She would only yell at him over that stupid seat next to the Uchiha bastard.
"NARUTO ENTER YOUR SEAL." Naruto heard that voice that had been messing with him since just before he had found out about his planned execution.
Naruto decided to get it over with as he found a small cave in the mountain he was walking next to. The boy entered the incroping as he found a place to sit. Naruto started to meditate until he felt his consciousness move deeper into his mind.
Mindscape
Naruto awoke to a similar scene he had the first time he entered this place, only this time he sat up to see he was in the large cage room instead of the narrow hallway. He turned his head to see the silhouette of the damned fox.
"What do you want, fox?" Naruto said in a bitter tone.
"I ONLY WANTED TO TELL YOU ABOUT SOMETHING I FOUND WHILST EXAMINING THIS ACCURSED SEAL." The large fox answered in an evan voice.
Naruto grew a worried look," You were trying to break it weren't you"
"I COULDN'T BREAK OUT EVEN IF I WANTED TO"
"Why should I believe you?"
"YOU SHOULDN'T"
Naruto didn't know how to answer that so he decided to get to why the fox had asked him to enter the seal.
"Why did you want me in this foul place?"
"I ONLY WANT TO TELL YOU OF MY DISCOVERY."
"Well what is it?"
"THIS SEAL IS BLOCKING YOU FROM BEING AS POWERFUL AS YOU SHOULD BE"
"And how would it be doing such a thing?"
"IT IS LOCKING AWAY YOUR BLOODLINE"
Naruto looked taken aback at hearing that he had a bloodline," What do you mean I have a bloodline."
"IT'S YOUR UZUMAKI BLOODLINE FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN IT IS CALLED CHAKRA CHAINS."
The blonde looked at the giant fox in surprise,"What are chakra chains?"
"THE CHAINS ARE MADE FROM PURE CHAKRA. THEY ARE ALSO A LARGE PART OF THE REASON THE UZUMAKI CLAN WAS WIPED OUT DURING THE SECOND GREAT NINJA WAR."
"How do I get it to activate?"
"YOU HAVE TO LOOSEN THE SEAL"
"You are tricking me aren't you. You want me to loosen it enough for you to break out."
"IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME THEN YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO DEAL WITH BEING LIMITED WHEN YOU GO FOR YOUR REVENGE AGAINST THE LEAF."
"How would I loosen the seal?"
"YOU HAVE TO RIP A SMALL PIECE OFF THIS PAPER" The Kyuubi said as he pointed to the paper holding him in the cage.
Naruto was having an inner debate trying to tell if the fox was lying but couldn't find anything telling him the fox was lying to him. In the end Naruto decided to take the risk of loosening the seal. Naruto walked closer to the cage as a pillar of water picked him up to be close enough to the seal keeping the cage locked. Naruto stretched his arm out and grabbed the seal by the top left corner and ripped off a small part of the paper. After ripping the corner off the seal Naruto was flung to the ground and saw as the world turned black.
The Next Morning
Naruto slowly opened his eyes to see the gray rocky ceiling.
"What happened?" Naruto said out loud to himself.
"YOU PASSED OUT FROM YOUR BLOODLINE AWAKENING." Kyuubi told his jailor.
'That wasn't a dream'
"NO IT WASN'T AND I THINK YOU SHOULD PREPARE TO LEAVE THIS PLACE, I FELT PRESENCES PASS BY HERE AROUND AN HOUR AGO. YOUR LUCKY THEY DIDN'T FIND YOU IN HERE." Kyuubi suggested.
"Ok. Wait, why are you helping me?" Naruto questioned as he stood up.
"IF YOU DIE THEN I WOULD DIE AND I WOULD PREFER IT IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH WAITING FOR NINE YEARS TO REFORM."
Naruto walked out of the cave and started walking until he could find a town to rest in. Naruto had picked up his pace as he jumped into the trees and started jumping along the branches.
3 Hours Later
Naruto reached the first stop he would hit on his long journey. He entered the town and started to look for a place to spend the night. He found a small building called Nohga Hotel. He walked up to the hotel and opened the door as he stepped up to the clerk.
"A room for one," Naruto said.
"Sure thing sir, it will be 7,500 yen."
Naruto reached into his pocket and grabbed one of the few things he had kept on him from Konoha, he opened the little green frog wallet and grabbed the allotted amount of money. He handed the money to the lady behind the desk as she grabbed a key from under the table.
"Room 24." she stated handing the key to Naruto.
"Thank you."
Naruto walked away from the desk and down a hallway till he found a door with the number 24 written on it as he stuck the key in the lock and entered the room. When he first walked in he noticed there was a small bed against the far side of the room and a couch on the side where the door was. He walked in a little more and saw another door that he recognized led to the bathroom. He decided he would wash up from the long run he took to get to this town. He strolled to the bathroom door and noticed there was a small showere and toilet next to each other and on the other side was a sink with a mirror above it. When he looked into the mirror his mouth opened wide in surprise.
"What the hell!" Naruto shouted in his mind as words couldn't leave his mouth.
In the mirror was a boy with vibrant red spiky hair and amethyst eyes looking back at Naruto.
"Kyuubi what happened to me"
"HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO KNOW, IF I HAD TO GUESS IT IS PROBABLY A SIDE EFFECT OF YOUR BLOODLINE BEING AWAKENED."
Naruto closed his eyes and tried to process the fact he no longer had his bright blonde hair he had grown to love but had to deal with it as there was nothing he could do to change it.
After getting washed Naruto got dressed and looked back in the mirror he had come to terms with his hair and eyes changing but with it he had realized his clothing was horrendous. Naruto grabbed his wallet and saw that he should have enough money to get new clothes, so he went to the window and opened it to reveal the outside world. Naruto leaped out of the newly opened window and started to look for a clothes shop. Naruto had never been a huge fan of orange as it had brought him bad memories from his childhood when he would try to shop and would be given overpriced items or not served at all. Naruto found a small clothes shop so he went in to see if they had any clothes he would be interested in. Naruto decided to walk over to the pants first and browsed what the shop had when he found a pair of loose black pants. Naruto picked up two pairs of the pants and walked over to theshirt section in the small store and picked out a mesh undershirt and a black jacket with red highlights. The new red head walked over to the cashier and placed the items on the counter. Naruto paid and went to the changing booth to put on his new clothes. He walked out looking like a completely new person. He had wrapped bandages around his left leg and left his jacket unzipped revealing his relatively muscular torso.
The Next Day
Naruto had just left the town he had stayed the night at. He decided he would walk at a relaxed pace for the time being.
"NARUTO REMEMBER THOSE PRESENCES I TOLD YOU ABOUT?" Naruto's inner demon asked.
"Yea what about it?"
"THEY'RE BACK"
"Where are they?"
"THEY'RE ABOUT HALF A MILE AWAY FROM YOU. I DON'T KNOW IF THEY WANT YOU BUT THEY CAME FROM KONOHA'S DIRECTION."
The Leaf probably sent them after me to capture of kill me.:
"I WOULD RECOMMEND TRYING TO STAY OUT OF ANY FIGHTS UNTIL YOU CAN PRACTICE WITH YOUR BLOODLINE AND INCREASE YOU OVERALL SKILLS."
" You're right, I will only fight them if it is absolutely necessary."
Root Anbu Squad
"Captain, why didn't we stop in that town we passed?" An Anbu with a blank white mask asked his squad captain.
"The boy is a fugitive of the Leaf. I would bet he is already by the border of Fire Country." The Anbu captain responded.
"Captain, this is the boy who barely passed his genin exam. You really think he will be fast enough to get to the border of Fire country in just four days?' Another one of the Anbu asked.
"You underestimate the boy," The captain responded.
"Captain, I think we should head back to that town. The target is most likely in that area." The last Anbu on the squad added.
"Fine," The captain relenated.
With Naruto
"NARUTO THEY ARE HEADED STRAIGHT IN YOUR DIRECTION FROM THE EAST, YOU SHOULD TRY HIDING."
"Got it," Naruto responded in though as he ran behind a tree on his west side.
Just as Naruto got behind the tree he heard four pairs of feet impact with the dirt path he had been walking on.
"Captain, why did we stop?" One of the Anbu asked.
"Look closely at the ground there are footprints." The captain responded as he followed where the print led with his eyes.
The rest of the squad followed the same track of prints that their captain was following as on of them went through hand signs.
"Fire style fire bomb jutsu."
The shout of the jutsu was followed by a large fire ball being launched at the tree Naruto was behind. Naruto jumped up just in time to avoid being hit by the orb of flames as he landed in view of the Root Anbu.
"Why did the old man send anbu after me? Hold on, I've never seen any Anbu with nothing on their masks." Naruto stated as he was evaluating his new enemies.
"We are not permitted to give you that information, however we are permitted to kill you." The Anbu Naruto figured was the captain of the squad.
The two sides stopped their conversation as two of the Anbu broke into a sprint straight to Naruto, both of them drawing out their swords as they swung the sharp metal at their young opponent. Instead of hearing the sound of flesh cutting metal the two heard the sound of metal hitting with metal, both looked at the red headed child to see him holding two kunai against their blades. The third of the Anbu appeared behind Naruto and was going to hit him with a sword strike of his own as a yellow chain shot from Naruto's back and penetrated through the emotionless man attempting to kill him. The rest of the ninjas looked in surprise at the boy who had just used a jutsu they had never seen before. The two Anbu who had initially charged at Naruto jumped back to regroup with their captain.
"What was that?" The captain asked to no avail.
Naruto ignored the man's question as he crossed his fingers," multi shadow clone jutsu!"
The Anbu knew their target could use the shadow clone jutsu but not to the extent he had just shown to them. In front of the squad of Leaf nin was 150 Narutos. The captain stepped ahead of his remaining teammates
"Lightning release thunder bolt jutsu"
The Anbu captain pointed his pointer fingers out into the sea of Narutos and shot out four bolts of lightning destroying about half of the large group. After the attack Naruto signaled his remaining clones to charge at the enemy Anbu. The captain pulled out his sword as he chopped at the incoming wave of enemies. Naruto looked at the person who left his comrades to deal with his clones.
"So you want to face the real me then." Naruto stated looking into the man's lifeless eyes.
The Anbu captain moved forward as he engaged Naruto in a taijutsu battle, Naruto was punched in the face then kneed in the gut but not without hitting his opponent as he slashed him with the kunai he was still holding onto. The battle progressed in the Anbu captains favor but the tides changed when on instinct Naruto pushed a chain out of his back and used it to grab his adversaries right arm then taking his kunais and dug one into the man's shoulder and into his stomach at the same time. Naruto watched as the life left the man before falling to his knees panting heavily from his battle. He looked to his left to see that his clones had finished their battle with the other two remaining Anbus only leaving seven of the clones alive. Naruto ordered the clones to dispel then got back to his feet as he walked away leaving the four corpses on the dirt path.
