"I've been stupid enough not to see what was right in front of me," I smiled, "But not anymore!"
"What do you mean?" He asked. I thought he understood what I was trying to say. It's like he was just too afraid to believe that!
"I know you care for me and you like me... a lot! More than you should!" I smiled as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
This was surreal! I couldn't believe I was actually talking to him like this.
Two weeks ago I thought he could never be mine, but apparently he also liked me, and his feelings were much deeper than I could have ever imagined! And now I was talking to him like this... This was surreal!
He seemed totally bewildered.
It took him quite some time to process what I just said.
"But you said..." he said, still looking confused.
"I got scared," I said, "I was just trying to protect myself. And... Chickening out is not just your forte, you know?" I joked and finally a smile broke through his face.
"But now I know what you were trying to say... " I said.
I found his arms around my waist as he pulled me closer.
"I'm sorry I didn't understand your feelings earlier," I said.
"How can you understand the emotions I was too afraid to show," he said as he tucked my hair behind my ear, "I don't even know what was stopping me back then."
"But it's not too late, I think?" I said.
We had a full drama back at home during the weekend, but it's like we were in a separate bubble here. I didn't want to think about any of that right now!
"I think so," he said as his eyes flickered to my lips.
I pulled him closer to give him the indication that I wanted the same thing as him.
And then... He kissed me!
And it was nothing like any of the kisses I have had before!
There was too much passion, too many emotions... It was something indescribable.
I hoped he realized that my feelings might not go back as far as his, but they were equally sincere!
I had no idea for how long we kept kissing...
He stopped after some time to look into my eyes.
I was sure I was beaming like an idiot, but there was nothing to be embarrassed about since he was exactly doing the same thing!
