"How can one be a planet and be so ugly?" Breathed out Anna with evident annoyance in her voice while she rubbed the sweat off her brow.

Honeymaren chuckled next to her as she picked up her vibranium staff from the ground. She made a twirl with it, then looked over to her girlfriend. "Is she always like that? Bantering, complaining and all, even though we're a handful remaining to face a gigantic space entity?"

Elsa chuckled. "Yep. She's a talkative soul, and becoming an Avenger didn't change a thing."

Anna tilted her head when the two women grinned at her. "You know that I can literally punch you to the other end of that battlefield, right? It would even only take me a flick of the finger."

The Snow Queen playfully shrugged, her bright blue shoulder pads sparkling in the sunset. One of them was slightly shifted, due to how many hits she received from Ego's attacks, the floating parts of ground that faced them announcing that it would keep going and keep coming. Her humor and good mood vanished when she took her role of captain again and looked at her allies, their number growing thin. Kristoff struggled to step out of the rubble of the recently collapsed building, and got thankful help from Anna who lifted the chunks of concrete to make way.

Once done, the redhead met her sister's grave face, and her smile vanished. They indeed were doomed; Ego didn't seem to tire down, and they were the only barrier remaining to protect the Earth. He would soon swallow it all, and she didn't like the idea of that.

Elsa took a weak, stumbling step forward, but tried her best to look strong; she would not give up that easily. She held her broken ice shield tighter in her hand and lifted her eyes to the frowning living planet floating in the horizon in front of them. The rest followed behind, not leaving the captain, even though they were certain that this would be the last attack.

Panting, limping, sweat and blood rolling from her stained hair and along her cheeks, the Snow Queen lifted what remained of her shield and took a position to make one last run.

"On your left."

Elsa frowned at the simple message in her earpiece, and turned to look at her sister. She was on her right, though. Was she making a joke through her com? The redhead shrugged, clueless, then she gasped when she saw something behind Elsa in the sky.

The Snow Queen twirled around, and her eyes widened when a portal drew itself in the sky and suddenly, a flying carpet bolted out of it, dashing in the air like an arrow. She recognized it, but from a long time ago, and frowned for a second, confused. Until she realized that two people were on its back.

"Did you miss me?" Said Aladdin on the carpet, but also in her ear.

Jasmine waved at them with a smile next to him, and they did a tour in the air. When Anna followed them with a smiling glance, she saw that other portals were opening all around them, by tens, and her eyes glistened when she realized all the people stepping out.

In a splash of water jolting out of a sparkling circle, Ariel and Moana arrived together, and immediately took combat positions, like they had been briefed just before arriving. Elsa and Anna dropped their jaw at their venue, but they barely recovered from it that others joined.

Kida and Milo bathed the battlefield in a blue halo when they came in from Atlantis in full warrior attire, but also accompanied by its army. In fact, several armies were appearing in the battlefield now; Anna recognized the Corona one on her left, and further, a whole group of dragons emerged, led by Raya and Namaari.

Someone came in through a portal with a creeper and did several backflip before making a superhero landing in front of Honeymaren, and she let out an impressed gasp when she recognized Tarzan. He didn't turn to her though, his eyes fixed on the floating planet in front of him, determined to end this once and for all.

Jane, Shang and Eugene came in next to him with more calm and prestance, however all holding large weapons that contrasted with their attitudes. They came with firm intent, and their focused stares testified of it.

Right next to their circle appeared another one, and Pocahontas stepped out of it, brandishing a staff like Honeymaren, and the latter's face lit up with emotion at her sight.

In the center of the battlefield, Elsa was just as astonished.

"Wha..." She murmured. "...How?"

Someone calmly walked to her, and put a hand on her shoulder. The blonde jolted at the gesture, pointing at it with glowing blue hands, then she instantly melted at the sight.

"Magic does have its mysteries, don't you know that already?" Grinned Rapunzel.

Elsa wanted nothing more than to tackle her into a hug right then, but she kept her captain attitude. Also, many other circles of light formed behind her, and it distracted her.

Next to Rapunzel appeared Mulan, who unsheathed her sword right away in a glorious sling that echoed through the battlefield, despite it filling more and more with the voices of everyone. Her armor was exactly like the last time Elsa had seen it, and she let out a relieved emotional chuckle. Mulan detached her eyes from Ego to wink at her, then she walked forward, making way for another person to step in Elsa's visual field.

In fact, the person was preceeded by the head of an arrow, and she wasn't surprised to find Merida at the end of it. Well, it was surprising to see everyone getting teleported here, but the archer already made an impression.

She even sighed at everyone's casual chatting and greeting. "Are ye all gon stan 'ere all day kissing or ur we getting tae it?"

Elsa chuckled in nervous joy and disbelief, but also because she was right. Her heart was filling with too much light at once to break the beauty of the moment right away, though.

Kristoff was startled when a new circle opened right next to him. Hercules walked out came to stand between him and Anna. "I heard that the brawn goes here?"

"The party is here." Grinned Anna, delighted to have him back. "Glad you made it, Herc."

He clenched his fists. "I failed in holding him off. Now I get my revenge."

Anna knew for a fact how vengeful he was; he probably was the one in the whole team of Avengers to fully deserve the title. He went to hell and back, for gods' sake.

"What's this I heard about a party?"

Anna turned at the equally familiar voice and faced Esmeralda, who was walking in along Tiana. "No way we're missing that."

She looked around, making a twirl to observe the whole battlefield and the group of allies.

The whole arrival seemed to calm down, and Anna realized that they were the last one, closing the walk.

"Is that everyone?"

Tiana widened her eyes at her. "You wanted more?"

Naveen came to stand at her side, and Anna only realized his presence then, since he had had a quick chat with Kristoff.

They all quickly switched from reassuring words to fighting postures, however, and formed a long line on the battlefield.

Ego widened eyes the size of moons when he saw how numerous and powerful they now were.

Elsa glanced at them all, grinned, then yell. "AVENGERS...!"

Anna lifted a fist to the sky. "ASSEMBLE!"
