Sleep, when it finally came, brought dreams. Dreams of home, loved ones and the material things they loved. But the dreams came with a price, combined with the hell of war. There was music, magic, dancing, romance, blood and terror. They all awoke frazzled, disoriented, disillusioned and more exhausted than ever. Dreams were supposed to be pleasant and take them away from reality, but apparently war takes precedence, even in the subconscious. The dreams experienced by Margaret, Hawkeye, BJ, Charles, Colonel Potter and Father Mulchay were more like the stuff of nightmares. And they were nightmares that they hoped they'd soon forget.
