I quickly check on Sheriff Forbes. A car pulls up at the same time. Enzo runs in the door with the large suitcase for Zach.

"That would be your ride, Zach." I say.

"Thanks," he replies.

"Call if you need anything," I say as he leaves.

Enzo ran back to the boarding house to be with Damon. I see the headlights pass again as they exit our driveway. I go back over to my bowl to watch what is going on. I see Sheriff Forbes and Logan in the forest.

"I got Stanley on the Moore Street entrance. The rest of us will cover other access points. Call him or call me if that thing goes off. Don't use the radio. Cell phones only." Liz tells him.

"Got it," he replies.

"You've got 8 rounds. Remember, wooden bullets won't kill him, but it'll wound him enough for you to get close and stake him. you sure you can handle this?" She asks.

"Of course, I can," Logan says confidently. I think it's all male ego though. I know he can not handle it.

"You ever stake a vampire before?" Liz asks.

"Have you?" Logan counters.

I teleport to the town. I walk around till I see Godric at Elena's.

"I saw," I say. "I'm guessing she came here."

"Yeah, she did. She then freaked then left," Godric says.

"Should we go look for her?" I ask.

"Stefan went after her. So, we shouldn't have to. But if she does transition, we should take over her care." Godric says.

"We should watch though. Just in case something happens. Be on standby. There are cops and counsel members are out there looking for vampires with the watch. I don't want an innocent girl getting hurt." I say. Godric hands me a bottle of water and a bowl. I give him a confused look.

"I try to keep it near by, just in case." He says pointing to a backpack lying against a pillar on the porch.

"She's in the cemetery," I say. Godric grabs his bag them takes off.

"Vicki," Stefan says.

"I'm starting to remember things. What he is, what he said. I remember you. The hospital, the….. the rooftop, it's all coming back." Vicki says.

"I'm so sorry. Damon had no right to do this to you," Stefan apologizes.

"He said that I need to feed. What will happen if I don't?" She asks looking frightened.

"You'll fade quickly…." Stefan says trailing off. "And then it'll all just be over."

"I'll be dead," Vicki says with a defeated look.

"Hey," Stefan says trying to get her attention.

"I don't want this," she says.

"I know. It'll be okay, you're gonna be okay. I can help you." Stefan says. No, he has no idea what he will be doing training an addict.

"Is it better? Is it better? Will I be better? I wanna go home. Will you take me home?" Vicki asks.

"Okay," Stefan says. Gunshots go off and Stefan gets shot. "Ahh!" Stefan cries out.

"No!" Vicki yells. Damon and Enzo appear. Damon bites Logan pushing him over. Godric comes out of his hiding spot and takes the bullets out of Stefan's chest.

"It's wood," Godric tells them.

"They know. If anyone's gonna kill you, it's gonna be me. My ring." Damon comes over and demands of Stefan. Godric looks over to see Vicki drinking Logans blood.

"No! No! Vicki!" Stefan cries out. He reaches towards her.

"I'm sorry," Vicki says.

"Oops," Damon says. Godric goes and picks up the compass.

"I will make sure Jeremy gets this back," Godric says to himself. He speaks up. "I think it would be best if Vicki comes with us. We can teach her the skills we need. Enzo and I can teach her." Stefan, Damon and Vicki all look at Godric. Godric looks at Vicki. "What do you say?"

"I think I would want to learn more from Godric and Enzo," Vicki says. "Enzo did try to get me to stop doing drugs."

"Come Vicki, we should head back to my house. Enzo you mind going to get Siv at the Gilberts?" Godric asks Enzo.

He nods and breezes off. I stop looking in my bowl of water. I look up and see Enzo a little ways away walking human pace.

"Hey," I say.

"You were watching," he says gesturing to the bowl of water.

"Yes," I say.

He takes the bowl and dumps the water on the grass. He keeps carrying the bowl and we head towards the forest to get to the house.

"Godric got the compass." He says.

"I saw. I'm going to try to get the original face from the Lockwood's then take the vampire compass portion, put it in the vault and give the watch back to Jeremy. He deserves it returned to him." I tell Enzo.

"That sounds like a good idea." He says. We arrive back at the house and Vicki is drinking a blood bag.

"Thought she might want a snack before going to bed," Godric says.

"When she learns control, I am willing to give her a sunlight right. The moment, she stops wanting it I will send hunters after her. You know the drill, Godric. I want her treated like one of us." I tell him.

"Sounds good. I was thinking of taking her to another town to teach her how to feed. Locals know to much. We won't be able to practice compelling here." Godric says, understanding the drill.

"What's compelling?" Vicki asks.

"It's what was done to you to make you forget. It can make humans do things for you as well. It's generally used to make your feed forgotten from the human's mind." Enzo explains, while I pull a book out.

"Ahh, the new vampires guide." Godric says. "Generally, it is only reserved for Kol's bloodline."

"Kol's bloodline?" Vicki asks taking the book from me.

"It's not your bloodline. The fact that you are getting that book is a privilege." Enzo says.

"I'm gonna head to get some sleep." I say.

"Vicki, I would sleep the day away that way we can head out as soon as the sun sets," Godric tells her.

"Alright," she says unsure.

"I can take you to your room," I offer.

"Okay," she says following me upstairs carrying her book.

"This book will tell you everything you need to know about being a vampire. It also tells you about the safe spaces. It updates on its own, so make sure you keep this book. You can ignore everything in there about Kol's bloodline. Everything else in this book will be very helpful." I explain to her. "Take the time to read it during the day. Either before or after you sleep."

"Okay. Thanks so much." She says.

I show her to her room. I then head to my room. I know there is a Halloween party tomorrow night. I think I should attend. I will have to pop by the Lockwood's in the morning. I will have to find an excuse to head over. Maybe I'll bring over some baked goods and tell Mrs. Lockwood I just want to get to know the ladies in town. Talk about starting a woman's empowering support club of some sort. Then I can get my hands on the piece of the Gilbert compass and give it back to Jeremy at the Halloween party. If Vicki is agreeable to be well behaved the boys can take her, while I do that. She can see Jeremy and visit a little bit.

The next day comes before I know it. I get chores done and then head to the Lockwood's with cinnamon rolls. I knock on the door. Mrs. Lockwood answers the door.

"Mrs. Lockwood, how are you?" I ask.

"I'm good. How are you, Siv? What brings you here today?" She asks surprised.

"I was hoping to discuss with you about a women's empowering group we could start here." I say. "I also didn't feel polite coming empty handed so I brought over some caramel apple cinnamon rolls."

"Those sound fantastic. Come on in." She offers. I hand her the dish. We walk into the kitchen for her to put away the rolls. "My son will definitely make sure these are eaten quickly."

I laugh. "Yes, my boys are great at making my rolls disappear. Godric likes to say that's his talent." I tell her. We both laugh. Tyler walks in wearing sweatpants, looking like he just rolled out of bed.

"Tyler!" Mrs. Lockwood chastises looking ashamed.

"Don't worry, Mrs. Lockwood. The boys walk around wearing similar things." I say as Tyler pears in the dish then grabs one of the rolls. He takes a bite them nods his head.

"Mom did you make these?" He asks.

"No, Siv did." She says.

"They are amazing and massive." He compliments.

"Let me know if you want more." I say with a chuckle.

"Don't say that. You will never be able to leave the kitchen." Mrs. Lockwood says chuckling. She leads me into an office. It looks like her husbands. She is facing away from me, and I see the watch face that I was looking for. I quickly slip it into my pocket. She turns around. "So, what were you thinking about?"

"A women's empowering group. I think that this town will get a lot of positivity from a group that supports women making good powerful moves." I say.

"I can definitely see potential in that." She says. "And please call me Carol."

Carol and I keep talking ideas. I eventually head out and back to the house. I see Vicki sitting in the living room reading her book.

"You are liking it?" I ask.

"Yeah, it's really informative." She says.

I head upstairs switch out the watch faces, put the compass into the vault in my room. While I'm doing that Enzo, Godric and I discuss plans for Vicki tonight. What to do if we think she is ready to see Jeremy and what to do if we think she isn't. the boys leave the room and I put on a witch costume, then head downstairs.

"Isn't that a little on the nose?" Enzo asks.

"That's why she likes it." Godric says as he walks past.

"Are you going to the Halloween party?" Vicki asks me.

"Yeah," I reply.

"Can I go?" She asks.

"No, Vicki you don't want to hurt Jeremy," I say testing her reaction. She growls at me getting upset and losing her temper. She goes to slam me against the wall.

"I wouldn't do that." Enzo warns taking a sip of his tea. She is very much not ready to go to see Jeremy if she can't handle hearing a no.

"Why not?" She asks turning to him.

"She's your only ability to be able to walk into the sun again one day." He says barely looking up from his crossword. He is like an old man some days.

"I swear he started doing crosswords about Fifty years ago and hasn't stopped." I tell her defusing the tension.

"That's what he's doing?" She asks, bless her ability to get distracted.

"Yes, I enjoy them. They are interesting to do when you have nothing else to do." He says looking at me out of the corner of his eye. That's my cue to leave. I leave teleporting to the town square. I walk to the high school. I bump into Tyler.

"Hey, I never got your name at the house." he says.

"Siv." I say. Bonnie and Caroline come over.

"Well, your rolls were amazing. I ate like five today." He says. I chuckle.

"Thank you. I'm glad you like them." I say.

"Hey Siv," they both greet.

"What brings you here?" Caroline asks.

"Why not enjoy myself. After all it is all hallows eve." I say.

"Really?" They both ask interested. I laugh.

"No, I'm here to drop off a family heirloom of Jeremy's. I stumbled across it and thought it was important to return it as soon as I could. I night stick around for a bit though. I haven't decided yet." I explain.

"Well, I have cider for the ladies. It's a Lockwood special," Tyler says joining back into the conversation.

"No way. Last year I was hung over until Thanksgiving." Bonnie says taking a step back.

"Lightweight," Caroline calls her. "I am going to drink until someone is hot enough to make out with."

"Sounds like a plan," Tyler says

"I'm willing to try some." I say taking a cup and taking a sip. "Not bad. Not the best thing I've had, but also not the worst."

"Thanks," Tyler says. "My uncle taught me how to make it."

"He's a bit of a party animal, I take it." I say.

"Yeah, a little bit." Tyler replies.

"I should go look for Jeremy," I say walking away sipping from my cup. I bump into Elena and her ex-Matt. They are wearing matching costumes.

"Wow, I'm just bumping into everyone today." I say.

"Do you know where Jeremy is?" She asks looking panicked.

"No, sorry. I haven't seen him." I say pretending I'm not looking for him as well.

"I need to keep Vicki away from him," she says running off. Vicki? Last I heard Godric and Enzo were planning on taking her out of town. She must know about vampires. That's not a good thing.

"Have you seen Vicki?" Matt asks. "I've been looking for her all day. I haven't seen her since she freaked out."

"Oh, shoot. Did she not text you?" I ask, knowing she didn't. I will have to get her a new phone. I have no idea where her old one is.

"No, so you've seen here?" He asks, his eye lighting up.

"I saw her sleeping when I got home. From what Godric said, she was having a bad reaction to the drugs she took. He had her sleep it off in our spare room. Thought it would be safer then just sending her home. This morning oner breakfast she seemed pretty freaked out and told us how she wants to get clean. The boys offered to help her. I have a good friend who is a good sober sponsor who is coming into town that can help her." I lie, partly lie.

"Where is she now?" He asks concerned.

"I suggested the boys take her out of town to have some sober and clean Halloween fun. Get her away from the drugs and alcohol. We found some good, haunted houses near by that they were talking about going to." I say.

"Well, she isn't answering her phone." He says upset.

"Let me see if I can get through to the boys." I offer. I took Enzo's phone before I left. I had a strange feeling I would need it.

"Thanks," he says while I text Godric. I explain my plan. I call shortly after and put it on speaker knowing Godric answering means he read the text.

"Hi Godric, you are on speaker." I warn Godric as he answers.

"Hi Siv and others," he says.

"It's just Matt here. He's trying to get a hold of his sister," I say acting like I'm getting him up to speed.

"Ahh, let me go get her. We just got her a caramel apple, so she is enjoying that." He says chuckling. I know he will coach her on what to say.

"Hi Siv and Matti," Vicki says.

"Vicki!" Matt exclaims. "Are you okay?"

"Better then okay. I'm having fun without drugs. I really needed this time, Matti. Siv, Godric and Enzo really are a blessing. I'm really lucky they came into town and believe in me." She says seeming happy. I guess the training is going really well.

"Why didn't you call or text?" Matt asks.

"My phone died and I lost it somewhere in the woods. Godric said they will buy a new one for me. I will call when I get my new phone. Oh, Enzo got us cotton candy, so I'm gonna go. Bye Matti." She says hanging up.

"Sorry," I tell him.

"Don't be. She sounds genuinely happy. She hasn't sounded that happy in a long time." He says with a smile. "Thanks."

"I just did what I hope someone would do for me if I was in that situation. Give me your number and I will make sure she calls and texts." I say as I had him Enzo's phone.

He adds his number, then hands it back. Elena is still running around looking for Vicki. I see Stefan looking around worried as well. I walk over to him.

"Stefan," I greet.

"Siv, did you lose Vicki?" Stefan asks concerned.

"No, why?" I ask.

"Two reasons, one, you're here and two, Elena is freaking out about Vicki getting to Jeremy." He says.

"I'm not here because of Vicki. I have no idea where Elena got the idea that Vicki is here. From what I gather she has been freaking out since before I got here." I tell him.

"That's strange." He says. "Where is Vicki?"

"Out of town with the boys. She won't be able to get away. Not that she wants to. When Matt spoke to her, she seemed pretty happy, but that can turn on a dime as you know." I tell him.

"You took her out of town and Matt spoke to her?" He asks confused.

"Yes, they took her out of town to teach her some skills, that they can't teach here. And yes, I had her speak to Matt I figured having him on our side as much as I could, would help tremendously." I say.

"What if she gets away?" He asks concerned.

"She won't. Godric and Enzo are older, stronger, and faster. They have it handled." I sooth him. "Now, I need to find Jeremy to pass on something of his."

"I saw him further in the school," Stefan says pointing me in the right direction, without asking any questions. That surprises me, but I am grateful. I head into the direction Stefan pointed and I finally see Jeremy.

"Jeremy?" I ask walking up to him.

"Hi, do I know you?" he asks.

"No, sorry. My name is Siv," I say introducing myself.

"Oh Siv, I've heard of you. What's up?" he asks. I pull out the watch.

"I believe this belongs to you." I say. His eyes light up.

"Where did you find it?" He asks. He takes it gently in his hands.

"I found it in the forest. I came here to get it back to you. Mind you the Lockwood cider wasn't bad," I say with a laugh.

"Thank you so much. I don't know how I could repay you." He says.

"Stop by for tea sometime," I say. "Have a good all Hallows eve." I walk away.

I leave to head home. Damon walks beside me.

"Where's Enzo?" He asks. "I went to your house, but no one was there."

"He went out of town to teach the vampire you turned. But you don't care." I say.

"Why would he care?" Damon asks.

"He's hanging out with ancient beings. Trust me he has learned quite a bit traveling with us. Also, he has a soft spot for women." I say with a chuckle.

"That makes sense," he replies smirking.

He walks away and I walk the rest of the way home. I take the time to enjoy the scenery and look around my property. I hope Elena can figure out whether she is coming or going. Because if she keeps freaking out the way she is, it will be a neon sign for the counsel that Stefan and Damon are vampires. I step into the house just as Enzo's phone goes off.

"Hello?" I answer.

"Hey, it's Bonnie. Godric said you had Enzo's phone." Bonnie says.

"Ahh, hello Bonnie." I say.

"Can you come over? My grams is acting strange." She says in a worried tone.

"Alright, I'll be outside your front door in a second. When we hang up, open your front door." I tell her.

I hang up and teleport right outside her front door, just as she opens it.

"Thank you for coming so quick," she says. We both head into her living room.

"How can I help?" I ask.

"Something came from my necklace," Bonnie says.

"Where did you get that?" Shelia asks.

"It's part of my costume. Just a piece of junk." Bonnie says.

"That piece of junk as you call it, belonged to one of the most powerful witches in our family. Let me show you." Shelia says.

She pulls out a book and starts flipping through the pages quickly. She stops flipping at a picture.

"There she is Emily Bennett. Your great-great-great-great grandmother and there is your necklace." She points in the picture.

"It feels like a magical talisman." I say feeling the magic when we all bent over to the book. "It's definitely been used."

"How can you tell?" Bonnie asks.

"Being as old as I am my senses to magic are a little more sensitive. I am more in tune with magic in areas." I tell her.

"Will you be teaching me that?" She asks.

"Your grandmother would be the one teaching you that. It is more of a basic lesson. It gets stronger with time though." I say. "How are your history lessons going?"

"Horrible, they are so boring. Do I have to learn them?" She asks whining.

"Yes, it is important. It will help you when learning your magic. It also teaches you the rules and why they were put in place." I say.

"You aren't above the rules?" Bonnie asks surprised.

"No. No witch is above the rules. They have been in place for much long then I have been alive." I say. "We all follow them, or consequences will occur. That's what you are learning in your history lessons. You are learning who broke the rules and what their consequences were. This way if you break a rule you know what will be the price you pay."

"Alright, I will try to pay more attention," she says a little more enthusiastically.

"You better. I don't take students who don't know the rules or why they are in place." I say.

"I'll go study now." Bonnie says running off.

"Thank you, she always seems more enthusiastic to learn after speaking with you." Shelia says to me.

"It is not a bother. It is the truth." I say.

"Would you like a cup of tea?" She asks,

"I would love one," I reply.
