Stefan comes to the house about an hour after Vicki and Lexi leave. I invite him in. He looks like he has been crying, so I invite him to the kitchen. I fix him a cup of tea. He takes a sip and visibly calms a little.

"You said to look at the situation. I have so many times. I can't see what you are talking about." He says.

"She was able to say something to Damon before she desiccated. That is not average." I say.

"She's strong," he replies.

"Or something else happened," I say cryptically.

"Then what happened?" He asks.

"I desiccated her with magic," I say.

"So, she's alive?" Stefan asks hopeful.

"Yes, she is driving out of town right now with Vicki. She mentioned that she would get in touch when they have settled." I tell him.

"Oh, thank god," he says completely deflating under the weight of his grief.

I walk around the island and take him into my arms. He cries for what could have happened had I not done something.

"I have you," I whisper rubbing his back.

He finally calms down. I can tell that Lexi's death hit him hard and finding out she is still alive made it all come crashing down.

"I'll make you another cup of tea," I tell him noticing his cup had gone cold.

I make him that new cup and empty the old one in the sink. I put the new cup in front of him.

"What's with the tea?" He asks.

"I find that tea helps with everything. It is probably left over from the large amount of time I spent overseas." I tell him. We both chuckle.

"I'll trust you on that," he says taking a sip of his tea.

He leaves shortly after that, and I finally head to sleep. I swear today felt extremely long.

I wake up the next morning to the doorbell ringing. Who is here this early in the morning? Where are the boys? I get up and go answer the door. I see Caroline standing there with Kal-EL and shades on. I let her in and go make us both a cup of tea.

"What can I help you with this morning?" I ask her trying to be cheerful.

"Sorry for being here so early," Caroline says. "Don't worry about being cheerful. I'm pretty hungover."

"Ahh, I have something for that." I tell her heading to the fridge. I grab out one of Godrics Gatorades and hand it to her.

"Thanks," she says.

"No problem. Now, what brings you this morning?" I ask. "I did tell you I would come get Kal-EL in a few days."

"Well yesterday, I had a tough day. I was told I'm shallow and it hit me hard," she says looking down at her opened bottle of Gatorade.

"Do you think you are shallow?" I ask her, already knowing the answer.

"Yeah, I do. Kiddie pool shallow," she says almost in tears.

"I don't believe you are shallow. But that is not the issue at hand. It is you thinking that you are shallow. Whatever you are doing that is making you think you are shallow, change it." I tell her sipping my tea.

"It's really that easy?" She asks.

"No, it really is not. Saying it is the easy part, but doing it is hard. I believe you can do it, though. I have seen weaker women succeed." I say.

"You really do?" She asks.

"Do you not believe you can?" I ask intrigued.

"I do think I can, but it's nice to have someone believe in me." She says with a small smile.

"Yes, of course I believe in you. You are a young smart woman." I say.

"Thanks," she says taking a sip of her Gatorade.

"How was Kal-EL?" I ask petting him.

"Last night, I really needed him. I'm glad he was there. He was a huge help and a big cuddler. Almost like he sensed that I was upset." Caroline says.

"He is a big cuddler. Magic dogs are more in tune with their owners' emotions. Non magic dogs can sense it as well, but not to the degree that a magic dog does." I explain to her.

"Yeah, I noticed that. He always seemed to be around when I was upset. He always tries to make me feel better." Caroline says.

"Yes, he will do that. It is in his nature." I say with a smile.

I continue to pet him. he's comfortably sitting of Caroline's lap. He has made himself right at home with her. I am glad to help join those two. I think she will benefit from having Kal-EL around.

"I also brought him to drop him off." She says.

"All done with him?" I ask her, raising one eyebrow.

"No, I will miss him like crazy," she says giving him a cuddle.

"You will be able to visit him whenever you desire, and I imagine you will be babysitting often." I tell her.

"You'll let me?" She asks surprised.

"Of course. you are always welcome here. Even if you just need a warm bed to sleep for the night with no judgement." I offer.

"Thank you so much. Did you know you're here for me more then my mom?" She says.

"That, I can not believe. But none the less I am here for you." I say.

"Thank you," she says finishing up her tea. "I should get to class."

"Let me walk you then." I say. Just as we are leaving Enzo pops out of no where.

"You got a text from Jenna asking you if you want to go to the grill, for an early dinner." He says.

"Tell her sure, that I will meet her there." I say.

I hope everything is going alright. I walk Caroline to school with Kal-EL to give him a walk. We continue to walk around. I wave at Tyler, and Matt as we pass a football practice. They wave back. We slowly take the long way back to my house. I notice the boys aren't in the house. they will sometimes go off and do their own thing. Enzo will sometimes go visit his family. While Godric will take trips for a good bottle of wine. I get the house chores done and feed Kal-EL and give him water. I head out just as Enzo walks in. he gives me a hug and kisses the side of my head.

"Good visit then?" I ask with a smile.

"Yes, a very good visit. There is going to be a new baby born." He tells me excitedly.

"That's so exciting." I say. He lets me go and I leave to go meet up with Jenna. I make it to the grill in good time and head in. I see Jenna and Jeremy sitting at a table together.

"Hey, Jeremy, are you joining us today?" I ask.

"Yeah, I thought I would join the lady's night out if that's okay." He says with a chuckle.

"This is a lady's night out?" I ask sarcastically.

"Yeah?" Jenna questions playing along. "I think we are doing it wrong."

"I could not agree more. Lady's night out should be drinking and clubbing." I say with a laugh.

"Ooo, you're right." Jenna says.

"I have no problems with it." I tell Jenna, she agrees.

"I like a man who can dine alone. A quiet strength." Jenna says out of the blue.

"What are you talking about?" I ask very confused.

"Him." She says pointing to a man sitting alone at a table.

"Maybe he lives alone and can not cook," I offer as an excuse.

"Don't ruin it." She says.

"I thought you were still in that whole Logan depression thing," Jeremy says.

"I've sworn off men forever, but it doesn't mean I can't observe them from a safe distance," Jenna says.

"That is the first step to not swearing off men. This is why women who swore off men went to convents, to get away from temptations." I tell her.

"Well, I'm stronger then that," Jenna says to us.

"I can introduce you." Jeremy says smirking at me.

"I do love a little bit of old-fashioned temptation." I say with a smile.

"What? You know him?" Jenna asks.

"Yeah, he's the new history teacher." He says.

"That is fantastic. They found a replacement." I say happily.

"That's true. It did take them a little while," says Jenna.

"It is a small town," I say.

"He gave me an extra assignment to bring up my grade." Jeremy tells us.

"I'm also happy to hear that," I say.

"Have you picked a topic?" Jenna asks.

"No, not yet. It's gotta be local and non-internet research, so…" He trails off.

"You could do something on the founding families. I have heard they have a council where they discuss supernatural," I offer.

"That's right! You can look through all your dad's stuff," Jenna says.

"What stuff?" Jeremy asks.

"How the Gilberts came over on the mayflower stuff, all that family lineage from way back. Your dad really loved all that family history stuff. It's all boxed up in the closet." She explains.

I watch the new history teacher walk up to our table.

"Mr. Saltzman," Jeremy greets.

"Jeremy," Mr. Saltzman greets back. "What's up man?"

"This is my aunt Jenna and Siv," Jeremy introduces.

He shakes Jenna's and my hand.

"Alaric Saltzman. It's nice to meet you," he introduces.

"Jeremy was just telling me about his paper. Thanks for giving him another chance," Jenna says.

"It was my first day. I wanted to make a good impression." Alaric Saltzman says.

"I know he appreciates it," I say.

"Yeah, I do appreciate it. Thank you," Jeremy says.

We talk for a bit longer when Alaric heads back to his table. Jeremy leaves us be.

"I would hazard a guess that we aren't cool," I say.

"Speak for yourself, I'm cool." Jenna jokes.

We both laugh. I see her eyes keep drifting towards Alaric.

"Go talk to him," I push her.

"No, I've sworn off men," she says.

"Shall I have you driven to a convent or are you going to unswear off men and go talk to a man that you fancy." I say.

"You know what, I think I will," she says standing up and walking over.

Matt walks up and sits across from me in Jenna's vacant spot.

"I've been meaning to talk to you. Vicki and I have been texting." He says.

"Okay?" I question.

"Well, she sent me a text then left. Is this what I have to look forward to? Her just taking off like my mom." He says agitated.

"She went with her sober sponsor. Her sober sponsor has done this a few times and is good at what she does. She is showing Vicki all the things she will miss out on if she goes back to drugs. She is also showing her how amazing the world can be without drugs. She is helping Vicki discover who she wants to be. Do I think Vicki has left you? Yes, but do I think she will be back? Yes. She has not totally cut you out and I don't believe she plans to. Support her even if it is from afar. Sobriety is harder then it looks it is also harder without family support." I explain to him.

"You seem like you are speaking from experience," he says.

"No, not personally, but I've seen plenty of people go through it," I reply.

"She sent me some money," he says. "She says it's to help pay the bills and for my college."

"She is finally thinking of a future not just the present, embrace that. She told me with you being the golden child in her eyes, she had a hard time accepting that. She did not know how to get over that and make a name for herself. She is finally doing that in a positive way. Be proud." I explain.

"I guess I should be more supportive. She is trying to support my dreams. It's high time I support hers," he says getting up and walking away.

Today has bene difficult. Hell, the past few days have been one thing after another, but I have a feeling it will not slow down. I head home and make myself a cup of tea to contemplate. I really hope this doppelganger brings Klaus here. I also hope he finally lets Kol go. I miss him very much. I need to show my Kol what I have accomplished for him. the life I built for us and our bloodline. The loyalty I get from respect not fear, like Niklaus and Elijah. With fear they will eventually try to unseat you from your thrown. With respect you have earned it, it is yours. With respect they are more willing to die for you. Enzo walks into the kitchen and hands me his phone.

"It's Stefan." He says.

"Hello Stefan, what can I do for you?" I ask.

"Meet me at the ruins of the old Fell's Church," he says.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because Emily has taken over Bonnie's body," he says.

"I'll be right there," I reply hanging up. I quickly teleport to the Church knowing I will get there faster if I teleport.

"Emily?" I ask looking at Bonnie. She is setting up a spell. She must know that Bonnie's magic isn't advanced enough for magic without the prep.

"Do I know you?" She asks while she is prepping.

"No, I know your ancestor, Ayana. My name is Siv Mikaelson. I am Kol Mikaelson's wife." I say.

"I've read about you in her books," Emily says as Damon arrives.

"Hello Emily. You look different," he says.

"I won't let you do it." Emily says.

"We had a deal." He says looking betrayed.

"Things are different now. I need to protect my family." She says.

"I protected your family. You owe me," Damon says in desperation.

"I know. I'm sorry," she says,

"You're about to be a lot more then that," Damon says then lunges at her.

I use my magic to throw him away from her. He gets impaled on a branch. I wince knowing that hurt. Stefan and Elena arrive. I take a step back to watch and possibly learn what is going on. Stefan removes the branch from Damon's stomach and asks him how he is.

"It hurts. This is why I feed on people," he says.

"Stefan," Emily greets.

"Hello, Emily," Stefan greets back.

"These people don't deserve that. They should never have to know such evil." Emily says.

"What do you mean evil?" Stefan asks confused.

I guess he understands about as much as I do. He looks at me and I shrug. I have a feeling only Damon and Emily understand what is going on.

"Emily, I swear to god, I'll make you regret this," Damon threatens weakly.

"I won't let you unleash them into this world," Emily says,

"Them? What part of the story did you leave out, Damon?" Stefan asks.

"What does it matter?" Damon asks seeming defeated.

"Emily, tell me what you did." Stefan orders.

"To save her, I had to save them," she says and that made just as much sense as the rest of her babbling has.

"You saved everyone in the church?" Stefan asks clearly figuring things out. He is doing better them I am.

"With one, comes all," Emily says.

"I don't care about them. I just want Kathrine," Damon says.

Katherine? I perk up. I know her. She is the other doppelganger. She must have turned Damon and Stefan. I saw her not that long ago. There is no way she could be in that lock up.

"I knew I shouldn't have believed a single work that comes out of your mouth. This isn't about love is it? This is about revenge." Stefan says getting upset.

"The two aren't mutually exclusive." Damon says making a point.

"Damon, you can't do this," Stefan says.

"Why not?" He asks, "They killed twenty-seven people, and they called it a was battle. They deserve whatever they get,"

"Twenty-seven vampires, Damon. They were vampires. You can't just bring them back," Stefan says.

"This town deserves this," Damon says.

"you're blaming innocent people for something that happened one hundred and forty-five years ago," Stefan says.

"It is happening again, Stefan. Logan had the vampire compass. The council use vervain. You saw what happened to Lexi," I say to Stefan. I am now party caught up.

"There's nothing innocent about these people, and don't think for a second it won't happen again. They already know too much, and they'll burn your little grand witch right next to us when they find out. Trust me," Damon adds.

"Things are different now," Emily says.

"Don't do this," Damon pleads again.

"I can't free them. I won't" She says, starting to chant, "Incendia!"

The pentagram sets itself on fire creating a wall of fire. I step through it having no problems Emily ignores me.

"No! No please," Damon begs.

"Emily throws the necklace in the air, and it explodes. Bonnie collapses and the wall of fire disappears. Damon tries to get to her, but I intervene. Damon runs off.
