(A/N: In the previous chapter, Luigi turned the game's ending around completely by sucking up the flowers and wrecking Bowser's last-ditch attempt to propose marriage to Princess Peach. What happens next? Perhaps we'll find out if I start this chapter!)

"Yeah! I got it!" Princess Daisy exclaimed in happiness as she held the Soirée Bouquet tightly in her hands.

"Daisy! You're here, too?!" Peach asked in surprise.

"You bet I am, Peach!" Daisy replied.

"Why are you and Luigi here?" Mario asked.

"We figured you might need a little help putting Bowser in his place." Daisy replied.

"You're right. I have been needing help with that chore since this whole ordeal began. Thank you both so much!" Mario replied.

"Yes, thank you." Peach smiled.

"This can't be happening..." Bowser muttered to himself. Of all people, why did it have to be Daisy who caught the flowers?

"Nice catch, Daisy!" Luigi congratulated his girlfriend.

"Thanks, sweetie!" Daisy replied, giving her beau an award-winning smile that made his heart sing... Beatles songs.

Cappy and Tiara had both heard about Luigi and Daisy from Mario and Peach, but they never actually thought they'd get to see them during the adventure.

"Do you think Mario and Peach will introduce us to Luigi and Daisy?" Tiara asked her brother.

"I'm sure they will. But they might be thinking about waiting until after Bowser is taken care of." Cappy replied.

"You're right. The people in question are busy dealing with Bowser, and they can't really meet us and fight Bowser at the same time." Tiara realized.

"Exactly." Cappy said.

Bowser cautiously approached Daisy and said, "Please, give me the flowers."

"No way, Bowser! I love flowers! In fact, I've never seen flowers such as these beauties before!" Daisy said.

"So what?! Neither has Peach! She loves flowers more than you, and because of that, I know she's going to love that bouquet. Now give it to me so I can use it to ask her to marry me." Bowser said.

"Are you crazy?! I grow all types of flowers, and Peach only has rose bushes in her garden! Add to that the fact that Peach hates your guts! She'll never marry you for these flowers! She won't marry you even if you offered her the universe!" Daisy said.

"Just give me the flowers." Bowser said. He knew that fighting Daisy would be a bad idea because one punch from her would send him flying into a galaxy far, far away, and he didn't want her to do that to him. He needed to marry Peach.

Daisy appeared to be weighing her options, and Bowser was getting madder and madder because it seemed that she was taking her sweet time doing so.

Finally, Daisy said, "Okay, Bowser. Do you really want me to give these flowers back to you that badly?"

"YES, ALREADY! NOW FORK 'EM OVER, MISSY!" Bowser screamed, so angry that his face was redder than Pauline's dress.

"All right. If you want them back... then you'll have to COME AND GET 'EM!" Daisy shouted. With that said, she held the flowers over her head and took off running around the Moon Kingdom like a crazed Olympic torch bearer! She was also laughing insanely because she knew that she was driving Bowser crazy, and that was something she loved to do!

Bowser growled and started to chase the princess, but it was pretty much hopeless because she could run faster than him any day!

"Sooner or later, he's going to have to question whether this is really worth the trouble." Daisy said to the readers while still running from Bowser, who was having trouble catching up to her.

Mario and Peach watched Bowser chase Princess Daisy around for a minute or two before Peach remembered something. She turned to look at her beau and said, "Mario, I noticed that you were approaching me a few minutes ago before Bowser went and pushed you down like the jerk that he is. Now, what were you planning to do before being so rudely interrupted?"

"Oh, right. I almost forgot. I was planning to do this." Mario said as he picked up a nearby Rocket Flower and got down on one knee before Peach.

"Oh my goodness!" Peach gasped, realizing what Mario was going to do. She had been wanting him to propose to her for quite some time, but she didn't know if or when he was going to do it. There were nights where she dreamed that he had proposed to her, but then she'd wake up and feel disappointed. Now he was proposing to her, and she was awake this time around, which meant that her dream was coming true.

"I know I'm not of noble birth and can't offer you much, Peach, but know this: I can promise you that I will always love you, and I will continue to protect you from Bowser until the day I breathe my last. I know this isn't a ring, which is what you deserve, but I'm afraid I don't have one on me right now. Until then, I want to ask you, Princess Peach, will you marry me?" Mario asked, looking up at the Princess with love in his warm blue eyes.

Peach could hardly believe her ears! Mario had just asked her to marry him! This had to be the happiest moment of her young life! With tears of happiness streaming down her cheeks, Peach rapidly nodded her head yes while replying, "Yes, Mario! I love you so much! I will marry you!"

"Yahoo! Here we go!" Mario cheered as he handed the flower to Peach, who accepted it with a radiant smile on her face. Then Mario dipped Peach and gave her a passionate kiss on the lips, which she joyfully returned.

"Brava, fratello! Way to go, bro!" Luigi cheered in excitement as he watched his brother and the princess kiss each other. He was so happy for Mario, who more than earned this moment of glory!

"I'm so happy for them!" Daisy thought, smiling widely as she noticed the pair, all the while still playing come-and-get-it with Bowser.

"Awwwww!" Cappy and Tiara said as they watched Mario and Peach kissing each other. It was so sweet to see them showing how much they loved each other. They knew Mario and Peach were in love, and they were glad to finally be seeing it with their own eyes!

Bowser heard the Bonneters go 'awww...', and he looked to see what they were looking at. He saw Mario and Peach kissing each other passionately, and it didn't take long for him to realize why they were kissing.

"You... y-you... YOU DISTRACTED ME!" Bowser yelled at Daisy, who was now jumping high up into the sky as she ran, continuing to keep the flowers out of his reach.

"You're right, Bowser! I did distract you! I had to! And boy, am I glad I did! If I hadn't done such a great job distracting you, then you might have attempted to do something really stupid, like ruin Mario's next attempt to ask Peach the big question!" Daisy said.

"Give me the flowers!" Bowser shouted, still trying to snatch them from Daisy.

"Not a chance, tootsie! I know what you're going to do with them! I'm not stupid!" Daisy declared, keeping the flowers away from him.

"Okay, then! If you're not going to give me the flowers, then I guess I'll just have to go and do what I should have done in the first place!" Bowser declared, and he started making his way over to Mario.

"Guys, look out!" Daisy cried, but Mario and Peach didn't hear her; they were lost in their own little world.

Cappy and Tiara heard the cry, however, and they quickly flew over to Mario and Peach, to try and defend them from the Koopa King. They weren't very big, and they weren't very strong, but they were willing to try and keep the pair safe from harm.

Luigi heard Daisy's warning, too, and when he saw what was going on, he said, "Oh no you don't!" And then he turned on the Poltergust 3000 on and aimed it at Bowser.

Suddenly, Bowser felt himself being pulled away from Mario and Peach!

"Hey! W-what's going on?!" Bowser asked, realizing that he was moving away from the newly engaged couple. He tried to run, but whatever was pulling him away from them was a lot stronger than him.

Seconds later, Bowser's tail was sucked into the Poltergust 3000, and he couldn't get it free!

"What the-?! You let me go right now! I need to go over there and set things right!" Bowser ordered Luigi.

"No way, Bowser! I refuse to let you go free! I know what will happen if I do! You'll kill my brother! I won't let you kill him!" Luigi snarled. Luigi never felt this angry before in his life, but Bowser had tried to kill Mario several times already, and Luigi loved his brother very much. Luigi was not about to let the Koopa King get away with murder.

"Relax! I won't kill him... if he agrees to let Peach go with me!" Bowser said.

"Really, Bowser? Who are you trying to kid?! Peach would rather shave a Wookiee than marry you!" Daisy said.

Mario and Cappy burst out laughing like crazy when they heard that, because they actually pictured Peach doing that, and it was hilarious! Peach and Tiara exchanged looks of confusion because they didn't know what a Wookiee was. Peach made a mental note to ask Mario later.

"Too bad! If she doesn't want to marry me, then I'll have to kill Mario so she'll have no other choice!" Bowser declared.

"Well, I hate to tell you this, but if you're going to kill my brother, then I'm afraid I cannot let you go." Luigi replied.

Bowser was glaring daggers at Luigi for saying that.

"The choice is yours, Bowser. You can leave Mario and Peach alone, or I'll suck you up the rest of the way, and the only way you're ever going to get out of my Poltergust 3000 is if I put you through Professor E. Gadd's Ghost Portrificationizer, forwards and backwards." Luigi threatened.

"And I suggest you choose wisely, Bowser. Luigi has seen that thing in action, and it's not exactly fun. He told me all about it." Daisy said. She didn't dare mention that Mario had been through it because she knew that if Bowser knew, he'd decide that Peach could do way better than Mario.

So Bowser spent the next few minutes weighing his options. It seemed he was up the creek without a paddle. He couldn't free his tail; it was stuck good because Luigi still had the suction on, and he wouldn't turn it off until he decided to leave Mario and Peach alone.

"All right! Fine! I'll leave them alone! Are you happy?!" Bowser roared at Luigi.

Luigi raised an eyebrow and looked at Bowser skeptically. He made no attempt to shut off the suction to free Bowser.

"Just let me go, and I won't go near them! I promise!" Bowser said.

Luigi considered this. How did he know Bowser wasn't lying? If he let Bowser go, Mario could get killed, and Luigi would never forgive himself if that happened.

Luigi turned to Daisy, giving her a pleading look to ask her for help with the decision he was going to have to make. Daisy walked over to her boyfriend, all the while keeping the flowers out of Bowser's reach.

"What should I do, Daisy? I can't let him go! I'm sure he's lying." Luigi whispered to Daisy.

Daisy thought for a moment, and then a light bulb appeared over her head! She leaned in really close to Luigi and whispered something in his ear. It must have been the best idea he'd ever heard of because a huge smile spread across his face, and he hugged Daisy tightly! After giving her a big, smacking kiss, he whispered in her ear, "You're a genius! Ti amo tanto! I love you so much!"

"I love you, too, Luigi. Now let him have it." Daisy said with a smirk.

Luigi returned her smirk and released Bowser, lightly setting his tail on fire in the process. You see, when Luigi had told Daisy all about his adventure in that fake mansion, he mentioned the Elemental Ghosts to her. He used the Poltergust 3000 and sucked up a Fire Elemental Ghost before taking the train to Sarasaland, and it was still there. Daisy suggested he use it to set Bowser on fire.

"Finally! I'm free at last!" Bowser cheered. He began to walk in the direction of the Wedding Hall as if to tell everyone there that the wedding was called off.

I'm sure you're all wondering what's going to happen when Bowser realizes that his tail is burning. Well, you know the drill: stay tuned if you want to find out!
