(A/N: Well, Bowser's wedding isn't going to happen, thanks to a couple of people named Luigi and Daisy, who gave Mario the chance he needed to ask Peach to marry him. Now to start this chapter and see what happens next!)

On his way to the Wedding Hall, Bowser smelled something appetizing, and he thought that the smell was coming from the Stupendous Stew.

"Mmm... that stew sure does smell good. I can't wait to try it." Bowser said to himself as he licked his chops.

But then he started to turn back towards Mario and the Princess, indicating that he lied about leaving them alone. However, he wasn't far from them when he realized that whatever he smelled was actually something burning, and his tail started to feel hot, too.

"That's not the stew..." Bowser thought. When he turned around, he saw, to his shock and horror, that his tail was on fire!

When Bowser realized what had happened, he screamed like a little girl and began running around the Moon Kingdom in terror.

"Put it out! Put it out! Somebody help me put it out!" Bowser yelled, running around and flailing his arms as the fire spread and began burning his butt.

"Hey, Bowser! Stop, drop, and roll!" Mario yelled at Bowser, all the while laughing at his misery.

"I can't do that, you dummy! My shell doesn't allow me to do that!" Bowser screamed back at the plumber.

"Then I guess you're going to die!" Mario yelled back at him.

Bowser was having a major freak-out! Something like this never happened to him before, and it was scary, to say the least!

"You know, I really wish I'd been able to set him ablaze while he was in that fruity wedding tuxedo of his." Mario whispered to Peach.

"If he lost that tuxedo to a fire, he'd have no other alternative but to call off the wedding and send me home. No way would he want to marry me if he was naked." Peach smiled.

Luigi and Daisy were laughing like crazy, and Cappy and Tiara were laughing so hard that they couldn't stop. They were all enjoying the sight of Bowser running around and screaming like a girl, unable to put out the fire on his tail. Before long, he was out of their sight, but his entire body was now engulfed in flames.

At that moment, Madame Broode had found her way out of the Underground Moon Cavern, walking her precious widdle Chain Chompikins. She was grumbling about what Mario had done to her and her darling Broodals. It wasn't fair!

"Unless the guy who hired my darling Broodals to plan his wedding asked them to help him provoke the man who beat them up, and if that's the case, then I think I can understand. Perhaps hearing both sides of the story will help clear everything up." Madame Broode said to herself.

Suddenly, Madame Broode stopped. She thought she heard something in the distance, but gradually it sounded louder and louder because it was coming closer to where she was. Before she knew it, some fiery thing zoomed past her while yelling, "Gotta put it out! GOTTA PUT IT OUT!"

"What was that?!" Madame Broode asked no one in particular. With a shrug, she continued making her way around the Moon Kingdom. Then she smelled something burning. When she looked, she realized that the fiery object had set part of her dress on fire!

The next sound heard was Madame Broode screaming, and to make matters worse, she, like Bowser before her, could not stop, drop, and roll either. Except her problem was different from Bowser's. Madame Broode was hugely fat, and she was afraid that if she got down on the ground, she wouldn't be able to stand back up again, even with help.

Madame Broode took the hat from her Chain Chomp and tried to beat out the fire on her dress with it, but that did no good. The hat caught on fire, so Madame Broode had to throw the hat on the ground and stomp on it to put out the fire. That fire was out, but the Chain Chomp got mad at her for ruining its hat.

In fact, it was her Chain Chomp that put out the fire by biting her. Luckily, it bit the flaming part of her dress, and after a few minutes, when Madame Broode was able to free herself, the fire was out, but her dress was ruined, and she was in pain. She was also seething with rage.

"Ohhh... when I find out who that was, he's going to be in big trouble! He set my dress on fire and made me get bitten by my precious pet! Now he just crossed the border into Hurtville!" Madame Broode grumbled, knowing that her dress and the hat worn by her Chain Chomp needed to be replaced, and someone was going to pay dearly for ruining her day.

By now, Bowser found his way back to the Wedding Hall, and he was finally able to put out the fire by dumping the Sparkle Water on himself.

"Ohhhh, thank goodness!" Bowser said in relief.

However, just because the fire was out, it didn't mean that he was completely okay. He had third-degree burns all over his body, and he looked like he'd been through the Devil's home.

"AAAAUUUUGGGGHHHH!" everyone in the Wedding Hall screamed, covering their eyes at the sight of Bowser.

"Don't worry. The wedding is officially off! You can all go home now!" Bowser assured everyone.

At that news, everyone felt much better, and they couldn't wait to go home. They hadn't wanted to go to the wedding in the first place. However, the ones whose kingdoms Bowser had stolen from turned out to be glad that they had gone. They reclaimed everything he had stolen, except for the Sparkle Water (now a lost cause), the Lochlady Dress, the Soirée Bouquet, and Tiara.

And now that I've mentioned the young Bonneter, we really should rejoin Mario and the others.

While Bowser was burning, Mario and his friends stopped laughing when Peach said she really didn't want to wear the Lochlady Dress anymore. So Mario used Cappy to warp everyone to Ever-After Hill, where the Wedding Hall was, and where Bowser's airship was anchored. The group climbed aboard the airship and followed Peach to the bride's chamber.

"I'm going in there so I can change back into my normal attire." Peach told her friends as she went into the room.

"Okay, Peach. We'll stay out here to give you privacy, and to keep a sharp eye out for Bowser." Mario promised.

"Thank you, Mario." Peach replied as she closed the door and began changing her clothes.

"I sure hope Bowser doesn't come back in here. I don't want to see him anymore." Tiara said.

"If he does, we'll be ready for him." Daisy assured her, cracking her knuckles.

"Ho quasi dimenticato! I almost forgot! You guys haven't met." Mario said as he looked at Luigi, Daisy, Cappy, and Tiara. He quickly introduced them to each other.

Cappy explained to Luigi and Daisy why he and Mario were working together, and Tiara explained why she had been kidnapped, but that she and Peach had become fast friends.

"Cappy actually flew away from me in fear when I regained consciousness, but after realizing that we were both after the same person, we agreed to work together, and like Peach and Tiara, we too became fast friends." Mario finished.

"We sure did." Cappy added, turning into Mario's wedding hat again.

By then, Peach opened the door, and she was back in her normal attire, except for her crown. She was also carrying the Lochlady Dress and the veil that came with it.

"I wish Bowser hadn't flicked my crown off of my head. I feel so naked without it." Peach said.

"Bowser is such a jerk. You can borrow mine if you want." Daisy offered, removing her crown and handing it to Peach.

"Thanks, Daisy, but that crown belongs to you. I wouldn't feel right wearing your crown." Peach replied.

"Okay, then." said Daisy, putting her crown back on her head.

"You can wear me until we find yours." Tiara offered.

"I've been doing so this whole time, and I have gotten used to having you around." Peach said.

"I don't mind acting as something for you to wear, Peach. You're my friend." Tiara said, going into her tiara form and landing neatly on Peach's head.

"You're sweet." Peach replied, looking at the tiara on her head with a smile.

"So, what do we do now?" Luigi asked as they left the airship.

"Well, I'm thinking we should take all the stolen wedding supplies back to where they belong." Mario said as they landed on solid ground.

"No need for that, Mario." a familiar voice said.

Mario looked to see Pauline standing before him.

"Pauline! What are you doing here?" Mario asked.

"I was invited to the wedding. You don't have to return most of the stolen things; people from the kingdoms Bowser robbed were invited and already reclaimed their special things. They are taking them back to their kingdoms now." Pauline replied.

"Okie-dokie. Grazie. Thanks for letting me know." Mario said.

"You're welcome, Mario." Pauline smiled. Then she turned to Peach and said, "Your Highness, I was glad to see Mario show up to crash the wedding. You deserve better than that monster you were marrying."

"Oh, I wasn't marrying the monster by choice. He was forcing me to marry him." Peach said.

"Oh dear. I'm so sorry." Pauline frowned.

"It's not your fault. Even though the monster's wedding is off, I'm still going to be getting married because Mario just asked me the big question, and I said yes!" Peach replied, eyes bright with happiness.

"Really? That's wonderful! I'm so happy for you two!" Pauline said, looking happy.

"My feelings exactly!" said Daisy with a smile.

After a short conversation, Pauline asked, "Will any of you be needing a ride back to Earth? I can take you with me if that's the case."

"No, that's okay. I've got an airship that I've been using to get around." Mario replied.

"And I'm going with him." Peach smiled.

"Luigi and I took a rocket to get here, and we're going to take it to get back home. We'll be fine." Daisy said.

"Okay. Take care, and let me know when the wedding is! I'd love to attend it!" Pauline said.

"Don't worry, Pauline. We'll let you know, because you're already invited." Mario smiled.

Pauline returned the smile before making her way to the vehicle that took her here. Mario and his friends started making their way back to their ships, all the while planning the upcoming wedding. Luigi was immediately given the honor of being Mario's best man, and Daisy would be Peach's maid of honor. Mario and Peach also found out why Luigi and Daisy had come here together, and they were glad.

Before long, the group saw their ships up ahead, but before they could board them, Bowser showed up, and he was furious! The burns all over his body made him look even worse than normal!

"All right, Peach! You might have changed back into your normal dress, but you're coming with me! You're going put that wedding dress back on, and we are going to get married whether you like it or not!" Bowser snarled.

"NO! I'm never going to marry you, Bowser! I hate you, you smell bad, and you look horrible!" Peach screamed, hiding behind Mario for safety.

"You're not going to touch her, Bowser! Not as long as I'm around!" Mario declared, making a protective pose.

"I beg to differ!" Bowser said.

Daisy was ready to rip Bowser in half, and Luigi got ready to turn on his Poltergust 3000 and suck Bowser in for good when suddenly, a woman's voice yelled out, "HEY! YOU!"

Everyone froze as a very angry Madame Broode walked over, looking like she had a bone to pick with someone.

"Did any of you happen to see some flaming guy run past here a while ago?" Madame Broode asked the group.

"It was HIM!" Mario, Peach, Luigi, Daisy, Cappy, and Tiara yelled, all pointing at Bowser.

So Madame Broode approached Bowser, glaring daggers at him.

"Oh, what do you want with me?!" Bowser asked.

"You set my dress on fire when you went running past me!" Madame Broode yelled.

"I was on fire! I didn't know where I was going or what I was doing; I just wanted to put out the fire in the worst way!" Bowser yelled back.

"I don't care! You owe me a new dress, and a new hat for my adorable Chain Chompikins!" Madame Broode said.

"I owe you nothing, but I will give you some advice: Why don't you try going on a diet, fatty?!" Bowser yelled.

Madame Broode's face turned as red as Mario's smartphone, and she looked like she was about to boil over with extreme rage.

"Questo dovrebbe essere divertente da guardare. This should be fun to watch." Mario whispered to his friends.

"HOW DARE YOU!" Madame Broode shouted, sounding like Gladys the Hippo Lady from "Rocko's Modern Life". She slugged Bowser and sent him flying back to his kingdom.

Bowser ended up crashing through the wall of his castle, and Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings did not recognize their father. They thought he was some sort of monster! But Kamek recognized him, took him to the castle's infirmary, and went right to work, preparing some magic potions and salves that would put him back to normal.

"Thanks." Luigi said to Madame Broode.

"You're welcome." Madame Broode said, but then she recognized Mario and said, "Hold it! I know you! You're the guy who kicked my butt after you took out my darling Broodals!"

"I had to! That guy who called you fat was the one who hired them to help plan a wedding that would end up with my girlfriend, a princess, mind you, dead as a doornail!" Mario said.

Madame Broode was about to yell again when Mario's words registered in her brain.

"What?" Madame Broode asked in a softer, kinder voice.

"Mario's right. Your Broodals were helping the groom plan his wedding, and they had no idea that the groom never loved me. He only loved that I'm a princess with a kingdom in need of a king and queen. He wanted to marry me so he could get my kingdom, and then he was going to kill me as soon as he became the king." Peach replied.

Madame Broode thought about that. So the guy who hired her Broodals was going to turn his bride, who was a princess and someone else's girlfriend, into a victim of domestic abuse?! That was not a good thing, and not the kind of wedding she wanted the Broodals to help plan.

"If you told me this before I punched him, I think that I would've ended up slugging him all the way to another planet in another galaxy." Madame Broode said.

"That would've been fun." Tiara replied from her perch on Peach's head.

"Oh yeah." said Cappy.

"Well, I'll see to it that my darling Broodals find out what was really going on, so you'll get an apology from them in due time." Madame Broode promised Mario.

"Mille grazie. Thank you very much." Mario replied.

Then Madame Broode started making her way to the Dark Side of the Moon, where she and the Broodals lived.

After all was said and done, Daisy handed the Soirée Bouquet to Mario, and then Luigi and Daisy got in their rocket to return to Sarasaland while Mario and Peach boarded the Odyssey so they could return the Soirée Bouquet and the Lochlady Dress to their respective kingdoms. Then they would spend some time in the kingdom of Sarasaland with Luigi and Daisy until Luigi was ready to go home to the Mushroom Kingdom.

When Luigi and Daisy returned to Sarasaland, Daisy called Chives and asked him to pick them up. He was glad when he heard that all was well, and even the King and Queen praised Luigi and Daisy for helping Mario save Peach, and that they helped the two get one step closer to living happily ever after.

Mario and Peach's wedding day arrived a few short months later, and it was the biggest thing to happen in the Mushroom Kingdom since Peach became a legal adult. At the reception, Mario and Peach told the guests how Luigi and Daisy prevented Bowser from ruining their engagement, and so everyone gave Luigi and Daisy a round of applause. The couple stood up and took their bows, feeling glad that they helped Mario and Peach get their happily ever after.

The End

Well, that's another story. Mario and Peach got engaged with no interruptions from Bowser, thanks to Luigi and Daisy! I hope you all enjoyed this story!
