After the news of Chariot's pregnancy and also the beginning of what would be the first magic classes, the day arrives on Christmas Eve, where there will be no magic classes, just a nice resting that the girls will do on that day, and also on the following day, since there will be a commemorative date coming up, for which the girls of the orphanage see a great meaning when they are there and receive the family affection that they could have with the presence of Croix and Ursula.
The day of Christmas Eve started already in the best possible way in winter, a moment that could have a white Christmas that didn't happen until then for a few years in that region, snow flakes were falling from the sky, the trees filled with frozen water, the ground with a white layer that even covered the snow, and outside there were Nelson, Finnelan with snow shovels removing a little the excess that formed around. In
the morning the girls went outside, having fun in the snow, having ball wars, building dolls, making other types of structures, even angels. The orphanage's surroundings were also decorated to the same height, leaving everything in a Christmas atmosphere. In the
afternoon Akko and her roommates woke up early after a long night of sleep with knocks at the door, where Kagari walks up to the door and found herself face to face with none other than her own mothers.
" Mums! You came too! How wonderful! " said the excited and sleepy Japanese woman.
" And do you really think we would spend Christmas away from our little girl? Christmas is a family day and we will enjoy it with this new family you met here in Luna Nova," Morgana said.
" And what a family... Chariot... Despite what happened back there I think she deserves something of a gift she's been needing so far since those summer events " Said the brownish one.
" Ah, and mothers, eh? Don't they also deserve a present? " Said Takahashi raising her eyebrow and then being hugged by her daughter.
" Of course you do Mama Morgana, you deserve all the presents in the world," said her daughter, who then walked down the corridors in her pyjamas to Ursula's room.
The three knock on the door, being answered by Croix as she sat there on the bed, Chariot still with her hair half reddened, she was hardly hiding her colours, without much disguise as she knew who was about to enter.
Soon Atsuko is walking over to Du Nord taking her hand with a smile on her face.
" Chariot... I know that back there I must have been a bit too angry and got upset with you, I just want to say that I forgive you for everything that happened and also that I apologize for all of this " Said the crimson"eyed one to the ruby"eyed one.
" There is nothing to apologize for, I know how shocking it was all this truth falling on your shoulder, because I also went through this same thing, I totally understand what it is to have the burden of rebirth magic, I know how it is to be assigned to this having to give up your dreams even, but I can also say that now we finally have a chance to achieve this " Said the Frenchwoman smiling.
" And by the way I'm going to love being a witch, I saw that there is a huge possibility of options and I can help to save this world, besides we can also help to rebirth this magic making people want to be more interested in magic," said the Japanese girl, making a gleam in Chariot's eyes appear.
" It was my greatest dream, I really wanted to be a great witch presenter, to show the whole world with choreographies and dances the importance of magic, but unfortunately cataclysms happened in my life " Du Nord said.
" Laura and Bernadette would give all the support in the world, they even paid for ballet lessons for Chariot when she was quite young, but the magic came crashing down just then, when there was nothing left to do, so they were scared," Croix said.
" I even understood why, I noticed by Laura's face how devastated she was by the deaths and everything, I already understood that magic wasn't what was going to be my future unless I was the one chosen by Claiomh Solais, but that's a story I'll tell another day, for now let's enjoy Christmas " Said the one with reddish hair with a smile on her face.
At that moment Akko stayed for a while with Chariot, Croix and also with the mothers chatting a bit, there was even the presence of Laura and Bernadette who also went there to see Du Nord, besides also looking in the window at some of the children playing and having fun in the Christmas snow, one of them was even Hellene who was with Marianne, both with huge smiles on their faces.
" Hey Hellene this snowman is getting cool huh? " said Leclerc.
" Let's make a whole Gurren Laggan yet! " Said the excited younger Cavendish.
" Don't exaggerate too, I think that just doing this one is good enough haha, we're not going to do it, right? " said the French girl scratching the back of her neck.

Back inside the girls were watching the girls and having a good laugh even though they didn't listen to their conversation.
Meanwhile in the green team's room, Amanda was waking up in a very strange way, when she felt some pains in her stomach, she kind of got up, then she felt other different pains, going to the bathroom where she noticed a light coming out more or less from her back.
" (What the fuck is this? Unbearable pain! I barely woke up today and now this comes)
O'Neill tries to look at her back and notices the symbol glowing on her back, a little covered by the clothes she was wearing, but she can see the green with a symbol of what looked like a wheel with the sun and moon on it.
" (Is that my magic?)
The salmon haired one starts from there concentrating a little more on doing a spell, what the glow goes increasing, intensifying more and more, to the point where the lights soon end up turning off, some of the few lit because it was still daylight and that was being notable on some places.
At the green team's bathroom there was a huge green smoke that was dissipated by O'Neill
herself when she opened one of the windows, starting to evaporate by the air, some people outside ended up seeing it, including the adults at Chariot's room who could see the suspicious green smoke coming out of there.
" (I wonder if it was now? I felt like I had taken the biggest shit, holy shit what a fucking pain, let's test it now)
The American girl quickly picks up a broom in the room, starting to recite the spell to make the broom take off "Tia Freyre" little by little the broom was reacting, which was cheering O'Neill up, who was also able to control the buoyancy inside the room, starting to scream of animation.
" I did it! I did it! My magic! She's awake! I'm doing it! I'm doing it! " Said the excited Amanda who then got off her broom, waking her friends who were rubbing their eyes watching everything.
O'Neill was starting to use the magic levitating the objects, doing it with all the animation of the world, far away from there in Chariot's room, Laura and Akko left running from there, half curious to know what had happened, besides in another place she was also walking to the green team's room, slowly arriving Nelson, who was on the way.
And Amanda was getting happier and happier without knowing of the imminent arrival of the others, trying all kinds of spells, including testing some on her friends while they woke up, being possible to notice Constanze's
expression a little angry and sleepy, who only wanted to stay there sleeping in peace, but her colleague's realization was so great that she caught everyone's joy.
" Fuck this is so fucked up, finally this magic shit has kicked in, now I can be a witch! " Said the excited O'Neill who soon saw Constanze writing a sign.
"Amanda, holy shit, you didn't have to wake us up with this euphoria, we already understand that you've already managed to use your magic, can't we have a peaceful night's sleep in this room, holy shit"
" Ah sorry cons, it's just that you understand that all this gives the greatest excitement and euphoria in the world, it's not something that simply happens every day, now I'm like you guys, I can fly on the broomstick, do fucking spells! " Said the excited American, until noises of a door slamming were heard.
At that moment the salmon haired girl stops floating and lay down on the broom, leaving the things organized where they were, besides stopping using magic, when answering the door there was Nelson and with that the green-eyed girl gives a strong squeeze on the hand of the former teacher that got all confused.
" Nelson! The potion worked! I was finally able to awaken my magic! " Said the excited Amanda.
" Oh good Miss O'Neill, I told you it would work, now you'll be able to kick ass in flying lessons " Alberta said, as Laura and Akko also arrived after seeing all the smoke.
" Akko! I did it! She's finally awake! My... " Said the salmon-haired one even shaking the brownish one.
" Ah even you? When will my time come?" said the indignant Kagari,
" Hmmmmm, this already increases my worries, with another broken seal we need to know that Margaret will not do anything " said the suspicious McLaren.
" Ah leave it to me, this task was entrusted to me last time " Said the fake witch and with that even the Irishwoman's eyes grew even more suspicious.

" Ursula and Croix entrusted me to do this task the first time, so I think it's the best, I won't miss anything even on Christmas, I don't have family, only friends, I can fly there and see the situation of the seal because it is of general concern " Nelson said trying to convince the shorty.

" Okay, if that's how you see fit, anyway, we have to be relieved, O'Neill finally managed to awaken what had been dormant inside her for so long and soon it will be Miss Kagari who will get it " Alberta said while there was the Irish girl typing to her friends on her mobile phone just to catch the warning.
" Anyway it's the best Christmas present I could have " Amanda said smiling and soon the confirmation message came.

With that Nelson was grabbing her things, flying towards where Margareth's seal was, of course she wasn't the real Nelson but Margareth after having used a spell to escape, already being quite smart on how to act when arriving there, since she knew she could raise suspicions, so she already had some plans in mind. Back at Luna Nova, in the green team's room, there Diana's mother and also Atsuko enter to find out more about Amanda's situation.
" I guess now that we're in your room I want to see how your magic is Amanda! " Akko said excitedly.
" The same thing happened with Diana, a few weeks ago, the smoke was blue, Amanda's is greenish, that means we broke another one of the seals, so Margaret could be on the loose, if she's not and we're fooled by her, we can't leave that much room," said the redhead.
" I don't know about that, I just want to know about flying on a broomstick, I can't wait for this Christmas to do that in class, I swear I'm going to do great flips, it's going to be really fucked up, and you Akko? Your magic has to awake too, it would be really cool with both of us, Marianne and Hellene doing great stunts," said the American.
" Or losing a broom race to me, but anyway lassies, now that I see that everything is ok, I'm going to go, I have to see how Chariot is, besides we'll prepare the food for later, let's see if you'll enjoy my macaroni and cheese " Said Laura giving a wink to the girls and then patting Kagari on the shoulder.
Amanda was starting to give more spell demonstrations as soon as Diana's mother came out to Chariot's room, also to tell the news of what happened, which she went on to tell a bit about the suspicion surrounding Nelson, as well as the awakening of O'Neill's magic.
The American who went on to impress Atsuko.
" I may have seen it countless times, but it never loses the fun of watching magic being made," said the Japanese woman.
" I think it's cool, it's almost as cool as skateboarding, I thought it was the most boring, but now that the magic is awake I'm more excited, now I feel like I can try harder and harder to get to my best, plus I can do some cool broomstick tricks I never thought I'd do on a skateboard, it's so many options, it's like opening a book in my head, it's the best Christmas present I ever got in my life. " Said O'neill all happy and excited.
" Oh and how did you manage to get it? " Atsuko asks.
" Promise you won't shit on anyone? Because this is top secret, it's something between me and someone else " said the salmon haired one.
" I want to know your secret, how you managed to awaken your magic, now that Christmas is so close " asks an anxious Kagari.
" I'll tell you, but still in a kind of secret way... " Said the American until Constanze appeared with a sign.
"Nelson who gave Amanda a potion to awaken her magic a couple of days ago, right in front of us, she told us to keep it a secret about it, but I'm not going to stay here hiding it from you either Akko, basically she had a little help from Nelson to release the magic"
" Is this serious? Why the fuck didn't you tell me before? I'd love to have that potion on hand... Although... I don't think I'd take it, winning the magic so easily, you know, I think I want to awaken like Diana did, with her motivation " Said Kagari with her hand on her chin.
" Seriously Akko, you're going to be there for more days struggling to do the basics of magic, better not waste time " O'Neill said.
" I know it may seem like a waste of time, but I think by learning like this I can be as good a witch as Diana has become, just look how well she does all the spells and she only started having the magic awakened a few days ago, I want to follow that path, to be a great deserving witch and I know that with that I will have more control " Said the Japanese girl with her chest full.
" Pfff, whatever, I'd rather not be a dick anyway " Said the salmon-haired one shrugging and going back to doing spells.
And so it was that Akko spent much of the Christmas afternoon, in the green team room marveling at Amanda's magic awakening, with her doing everything she saw in the magic books ahead of her, while Constanze went to play video games and Jasminka did the same too.
Some time later far away from there, in the place where Margareth was sealed, landed the fake Nelson who was already using the magic at the beginning of the corridor before the witch arrived, starting to film making a beautiful staging, where she pretended to be even afraid, but still was with the fake Margareth still unconscious, at least causing the impression of that, so much that later she sends the message and makes sure to hang up the phone.
" Yes, soon you will be free of your chains Nelson, your help was very useful for me to get out of this prison, you see how a cooperation between us worked out well, I didn't even need to kill you and the best of all is that there is only one more to get what I so much crave, the so expected Claiomh Solais in my hands, while you all think that I am you and you are me " Said Ford with a very intimidating tone then leaving that place giving even a spin with her finger to return to normal, where who was actually stuck was Nelson.
" (Now it's just a matter of time, I just need to push these girls to where Claiomh Solais is and I know well how to do that, I know how to make this winter of theirs last long enough, hahahah).
And Christmas in Luna Nova arrived, with the awakening of Amanda's magic was the biggest celebration it had, the joy and euphoria ad O'Neill in a mix of feelings, in addition to the belonging in family, of all who were getting closer, especially the eight witches with Ursula and Croix, which were creating more and more a bond of closeness, but that has the threat hidden all the time, something that can cause future catastrophic events.
