Over the course of the years up until Izuchi Kayama and Mina Ashido graduations before they were off to making an attempt at entering U.A-university, quite a few things occurred. One of those things was the wedding between Nemuri and Yumi. It was at the end of the two adults' twelfth outing as girlfriends (read: date) when Yumi Balalaika went down on one knee and asked her girlfriend the question that earned the two several shouts of 'congratulations', 'finally' and 'about time' when Nemuri said yes. The two had been on a romantic dinner at a restaurant Nemuri and Yumi had become regulars at.
The wedding itself was a private one with the only guests being a few people that had been personally invited by the brides. Most of them appeared to be members of the Underground Heroes-community and showed themselves to be nice people, if a bit rough around the edges. A set of people that were not invited, which was a bit suspicious for those who didn't know the reason but made sense for those who did know, were the brides' respective parents. Nemuri's parents weren't invited because of how strained their relationship was with their daughter and weren't particularly supportive of her life choices, preferences and her Midnight-persona. Yumi's parents weren't invited because they simply weren't a part of the half-Russian-half-Japanese woman's life, Yumi having confessed to her girlfriend at one point that while she knew who her parents were thanks to DNA-testing, the fact that she had lived a good portion of her life on the streets until a Hero took her in, along with another older girl who had a Quirk somewhat similar to Yumi's Bowgun-Quirk, made it so that the holder of the Bowgun-Quirk didn't really consider her biological parents family. Needless to say, everyone present at the wedding felt a great deal of happiness for the newlyweds. Especially Izuchi, who as of that moment was happily able to claim that she had one Mama and one Mom.
Another relationship that got itself an upgrade during the years was the one between Izuchi and Mina. While their relationship started out as roommates/close friends, they had become closer over the years and it took some rather rude (and frankly pretty bad) singing from Yūdokuna for the two girls to realize their feelings towards each other. With a genuine thank you to the boy who had tried and failed to put himself on the top of the social rankings, Izuchi shyly asked her friend and roommate if she wanted to go on a date with her, to which Mina said yes, albeit not without a blush on her face. Their first date was more than a bit awkward (not only because of what it would mean if it went well, what changes it would cause to their dynamic, and because they had gone through a very uncomfortable and awkward lesson earlier that day), but they ultimately enjoyed it. Especially when both Izuchi and Mina learned that both were pretty good kissers. They also discovered the possibility that they both had a pair of respective 'things' that made the other attractive in their opinion. Namely that Mina apparently had a thing for firm behinds and tails while Izuchi also had a thing for firm behinds and webbed hands. Given the sheer amount of varied ways Quirks could affect one's appearance, having fetishes for tails or webbed hands weren't too out of the ordinary. At least, that's what Nemuri and Yumi said when the topic of both more normal and more exotic fetishes somehow came up during dinner. And to the surprise of no one, both Nemuri and Yumi supported the two (at the time) teenagers' relationship.
