School came sooner than what Dani had hoped for and it was worse and better in a sense, worse because she had more abusers and because no one liked that she was an omega with a powerful mate but they all also knew that the Fenton's and the three mates that were often at the Fenton's house had banned her from seeing him for a while, they knew that they could get away with whatever they wanted and no one was going to stop them.

Even the nerds who were just lower-ranking betas knew that they could get away with whatever they wanted towards the Omega as they had nothing to fear. Most of the time they just spit at her, sneered at her, made a snide remark of some sort, or even occasionally kicked or tripped her. However, none of them had yet seen her that day, albeit school hadn't even started yet and she usually showed up late or right on time.

What no one had known was the fact that Dani had made breakfast that morning and cleaned up and lied and said that she had early morning tutoring before she left before the Fenton parents and the three mates could say anything. In all reality though she had left to meet up with Vlad really quick. It wasn't that quick of a meeting, they had about an hour and they made good use of that hour. Vlad had been worried about her at first but she had reassured him.

Vlad and Dani made love to one another for about 45 minutes before they both had to shower and leave. They saved time and water by showering together before getting ready. Before the two were about part ways, Vlad had given Dani a pendant. He had told her not to take it off as it was for protection and it had his scent infused with it showing just how powerful he was. He knew of the abuse at her school and the corruptness of the teachers and he would threaten them if they wouldn't draw conclusions. However now with his scent on her pendant if too many people knew his scent or knew that she was wearing his scent they would notice that the two were mates.

As the two parted ways they shared one last parting kiss and Dani had stolen one of the few hoodies that Vlad wore while he lounges around his apartment. It wasn't a known fact that Vlad has casual wear and the only reason he really had anything casual was because of Dani's persistence for him to get something casual. It may have also enticed him more when she said that she would actually be able to wear his clothes.

"I love you Vlad," Dani says pecking his lips one last time by floating a little bit.

"I love you too Little Badger. Why don't we try and meet in our ghost forms tonight around one at that point your idiot parents will be asleep and the other three idiots will be so engulfed in their pleasure or asleep as well."

"I'd like that, love you, bye!"

With that the two separate as Dani bolts out the door and Vlad looks after her lovingly before he leaves for work. The two would see each other tonight and that's what kept both of them going for the day. Especially now that Vlad had given her a pendant that not only had his scent but would offer a little bit of protection for her.

Dani arrived at the school a few minutes before classes were bound to start and rushed straight to Lancer's classroom before anyone else saw her. She already knew about the looks that she would receive especially once Jazz, Dash, and Paulina heard or even smelt her. Vlad's scent was especially strong today. It generally was after the two made love or even if she wore an article of his clothing but with the pendant, it was even stronger and she already felt stronger even if the pendant didn't grant that strength. She assumed it was because her closeness with Vlad had helped heal her a bit and just his scent engulfing her made her feel safer.

Everyone slowly started to filter into the classroom and they all gave her weird looks as they entered. The A-listers were the last to enter and that included Paulina and Dash and they both glared at her and Dash even went so far as to slam his hand on her desk.

"Clearly you didn't go for some extra tutoring this morning Fenturd! You went to your mate and you know just the punishment that is going to await you at home because of it. Maybe Maddie and Jack will even call you out early and you'll receive the beating of your life! Unless you want to fill us in on just who your mate is and maybe, just maybe we'll all go easy on you tonight."

"You already know the answer to that Dash," Dani tells him boldly.

"What? That you're protecting the identity of your mate so hard that you'd rather receive the worst beating of your life than give up his identity. So far this powerful mate of yours hasn't done anything to us. Maybe he's not as powerful as he seems, maybe he just buys power enhancers to boost his power levels," Paulina says to the class and they all glare at Dani as a result.

This time Dani looks up at all of them and glares at them. "Just because he hasn't done anything that you've noticed yet doesn't mean that he hasn't done anything yet. If anything major were to happen to me no one would be safe from his wrath. We may be keeping it a secret as to who he is and who I am to everyone but we're willing to put that all on the line for the other's safety. You can try and do whatever you'd like but don't come crying when your futures are ruined and you all have jobs at the Nasty Burger for the rest of your lives. He's told me a few of the things that would happen if anything serious were to happen to me, a few of those things being draining your parents of everything that they're worth, making sure that no college ever accepts you not even a community one, and that you never get a decent paying job. Those are a few of his threats and he has plenty more that he would add depending on how serious I'm hurt. He's not a man that you'd want to mess with, especially because with one phone call he could and would ruin everyone in this town."

That was when Lancer walked in and he had heard everything that Danielle had said and he was not at all happy. "Danielle Fenton go to the Principal's office right now! We do NOT threaten our classmates!"

Dani stops her glaring and just packs her stuff up with ease before she's out of the classroom in the blink of an eye. A few of them saw her grab her phone out of her pocket and it looked like she was making a phone call and many had pointed that out and Lancer went to go follow her but she had already made her call and was putting her phone back in her pocket before Lancer or anyone could hear what she said.

Lancer then sends a glare her way and starts to follow her to make sure that she heads to the Principal's office but before he gets far his phone starts to ring and he answers it. His face goes pale as he picks it up and the other person speaks. As the phone call ends Lancer slowly sinks into his chair and puts his face in his hands.

The students ask him questions such as who the person was and what they wanted but Lancer just shook his head and simply answers that it was Danielle's mate and that they shouldn't doubt his power or influence as he would ruin Lancer just as easy as he could ruin the rest of the town. Lancer didn't elaborate further and after a few minutes class had started. What no one would know until around lunch however was that everyone had heard what had happened and that Danielle had gone to her mate's place because he had called her out.

Jazz, Paulina, and Dash were angry and had been sure to inform Maddie and Jack who had shown up at the school. Principal Ishyama and Mr. Lancer were having a meeting with the Fenton parents as a result and Lancer had to go into detail about what was said. No one bothered eavesdropping as Maddie was bound to tell Jazz and she would tell the rest of them what had happened.

Jazz didn't waste time once Maddie and Jack were out of the meeting and Maddie told her everything about how the phone call that Lancer had received was something that was private and could very well ruin him and a few others at this school and that if Dani weren't allowed to leave and something were to happen it would be his career and many other's careers on the line. Of course, that was just the basics as to what was discussed and it was all over the school by the end of the day.

They knew that Dani's mate was a threat and by questioning that they made themselves an even bigger target. Of course, Maddie, Jack, Paulina, Jazz, and Dash were the only ones unphased by the threat but that was because they could make Dani's life even more of a hellhole than what it already is. This of course had others speculating that with the five of them being Dani's main perpetrators and with them and having asked if anything major had happened to them and with them saying that nothing happened to them they figured that maybe it was all just a big prank and that Dani was just messing with them. They wouldn't know until it would be too late as to whether Dani's mate was as big of a threat as she had made him out to be and the remnants of his power left on her.

Most everyone figured it was just Dani being that she was an Omega and was trying to protect herself and maybe that whoever her mate was; took enhancers or something to make his power levels higher. How wrong they would be but they would discover that if their ways don't change.
