Meanwhile, at Toad Tower, Grime was waiting for Bog to come back. The lack of Wartwood's tax collection had finally been complete and he looked forward to seeing how much stuff they collected from them but to his surprise, the cart was full of snails instead of objects.
"Bog, Fen, Mire, report." He said, walking up to them.
"The tax collection ran into some rather surprising revelations, sir." Big said as they all got off the cart.
"How surprising?" Grime asked them.
"We'll for one surprise, the mayor actually lied to us and hid the taxes from himself." Fen said with a bandage wrapped around her forehead.
"Well, I will make sure he is spoken to." He said, "As long as you got the money though, I don't really care what he does. What happened?"
"We ran into a strange, tall creature just like the Lieutenant." Bog said to him.
"Just like the Lieutenant?" Grime asked with interest. "Tell me more."
"She moved like a frog, she could jump high, move fast, she... she punched Fen and sent her all the way to town."
"She caused that?" Grime asked, pointing to Fen's injury.
"Indeed she did. Made me bust the statue that was hiding the taxes. That creature hits hard." Fen said as she rubbed her head from phantom pain.
"Ugh." Mire grunted with a nod.
"Hmm, Lieutenant should know of this." Grime said.
"I should know what?" Sasha asked.
Turning around, they all saw the Lieutenant in question walking to them with a curious look on her face. Covered in appropriate attire to show she was their ally and commanding officer, except for Grime.
"They recently returned from their mission... they found a Human." Grime said, intentionally keeping out the other details.
"A human?" Sasha asked, turning to the toads with interest as she walked towards them. "What did she look like? I want all details."
Fen and Bog flinched a bit from how much Sasha was interested, it looks like they were right in assume she knew this human.
"She looked about as tall as you with bushy brown hair that had leaves and sticks in it." Bog said.
"She had brown skin and wore a dirty outfit with one of her boot missing." Fen said as she pouted to her right foot.
"And what color with this "boot?"" Sasha asked as she remembered Grim's showing her a RIGHT foot shoe.
"Mostly yellow." Bog said as Mire nodded with a grunt.
"Anne." Sasha said, "We need to go there."
"Out of the question." Grime said quickly as Sasha turned to him.
"What?!" Sasha asked in shock.
"Things with Wartwood are tense right now after that false tax collection their mayor pulled. We need to wait for this to simmer down or else the town might do something crazy and attack us." Grime said to her.
"Fine, but the second we can head to the town, we're going."
"Understood and don't worry. We now know where one of your friends is located, this is good news for you. Right?" Grime said to Sasha.
"Yeah, it is. I just need to find Marcy now." Sasha said as she calmed down.
Grime watches as Sasha walked away, wondering if she knows about her friends... abilities.
"Bog, Fen. Tell me EVERYTHING about this "Anne." Including her unique abilities." Grime said to them.
