"My name is Riruka. I want to share you a story that terrifies me and is real, whether you believe it or not."

"It all started one night. I was out with a friend of mine. Her name is Betty. She and I were good friends since we had similar tastes, acted a little bratty, and I thought she was cute with how her blonde pigtails made her look like a doll. We got along pretty well and liked to have some fun."

Riruka was good friends with this girl named Betty. It was because of that they got into some trouble when they shouldn't have.

"We were hanging out at Betty's house and tried to find something to do. We were just looking to have some fun, something harmless. To us, it involved breaking a couple rules. That's where Betty came up with an idea."

"We should go to that abandon mall and check it out." Betty claimed.

"Our town had a mall that's been abandoned for years. For whatever reason, no one was allowed to go there, especially after dark. That sounded like it could be a lot of fun for us."

Betty and Riruka were looking for some trouble that could be fun to them. Deciding to hit the abandon mall that no one was really allowed to be at, the two of them went out to there to break a couple rules.

"Betty was old enough to drive, so we got in her Mom's car and headed out. We soon arrived at the mall and it was rather creepy. It had broken windows, holes in the walls, and anything else you would find at a place like that. Honestly, it was rather creepy and looked ugly. Despite that, she and I still went on inside."

The girls soon arrived at the mall and it was just as they thought it was. Even though the place did not look friendly, the two of them still went inside when they shouldn't have.

"We walked around and acted like it was a regular mall. The stores weren't even locked or anything. The plan was just to spend like ten minutes or so in the mall. Heck, maybe even figure out why this place was abandoned."

The two of them just walked around the mall and didn't really see anything too out of the ordinary. Thinking it was harmless, they went deeper and deeper into the mall.

"Riruka, take a look at this." Betty said as she found something.

"Betty showed me something that was a bit weird. There were mannequins placed in one of the windows, and they looked fresh compared to the rest of the mall. Those mannequins even seemed so life-like."

"Why are these mannequins here? No one has been in here for years?" Betty said.

"Someone else had to have been here." Riruka believed.

Finding the mannequins was rather weird. How could they even be in a place like that mall and look in good condition?

"Finding the mannequins was strange, but we just left it alone and kept going. After a couple more minutes, something else happened. Music started playing. We could hear it over speakers, but we didn't get it. How is there music playing in the background?"

"You hear that too, right?" Betty questioned.

"Of course I do, stupid. Where is it coming from?" Riruka said.

"Let me see..." Betty said as she took a look at an old directory. "It looks like there's a path just down this hall that leads to an office. That should be where the music is being controlled."

"We decided to figure out where that music is coming from and followed it."

Music just started playing for no reason, and that made the girls uneasy. Deciding they want to know where it's coming from, the two of them went down the hall and tried to find the office where the PA system is suppose to be.

"We eventually found where the music was coming from and took a look inside through a small window in the door. When we looked inside, we saw someone in there."

The girls were able to reach the office and had a look to see someone was playing the system.

"I wish we hadn't looked. The guy turned around and he didn't look human. He had black eyes, almost looked like he had holes where his eyes should be, and he had sharp teeth. He turned straight to us and seeing what he looked like us gave us a good scare. He scared us so bad that we ended up falling to the floor with our backs hitting the wall."

Seeing how that guy's face look gave the girls a good scare. Him turning and looking to them gave them an even bigger scare.

"Once we saw his shadow through the bottom of the door, the two of us got and ran. We just kept running and running. When we made it back to the main hall, we kept going. I looked back and I could see his shadow coming out of it."

"Who or what was that?!" Riruka questioned.

"I don't know! Quick, hide!" Betty said.

The two of them ran like their lives depended on it. They didn't know what they saw, but they knew they just hade to hide somewhere.

"We ducked inside a store to hide. Betty ducked behind a desk while I hid behind a table. We just waited there and hoped whoever we saw would just go away. We heard footsteps, but neither of us dared look to see. The footsteps came and stopped for a moment. Then, they just kept walking until they faded away and we thought he was gone. Still, we were scared at what we saw. Betty was the one brave enough to look."

The girls managed to hide and just waited for something. They could hear the man walking towards where they were hiding, stopped for a moment, then walked away again. Neither of them were sure if he was really gone. Betty took a look and didn't see him anywhere.

"Found you." Someone talked in Betty's ear.

"AAAAAWWWWW!

"All of a sudden, I heard Betty scream. I took a look and saw she was being dragged away by that man."

Betty's scream alerted Riruka. She looked and saw her friend was being taken away.

"I should have done something to save her, but I acted like a coward and saved myself instead. Instead of trying to help her, I just ran straight for the exit and didn't stop. Even when I made it out, I just kept running and made it out of there. Sadly, I never saw Betty again after that. She's gone and it's all my fault because I was a pathetic coward and didn't do anything to save her. I can't help but wonder what that freak did to her."

Riruka might have escaped, but Betty wasn't as lucky. In truth, the mall got a brand new mannequin.
