My, my... Another chapter so soon? Sacrebleu!
(Oct/27/22: No, there isn't. I just edited some things. Sorry to disappoint. I'll delete this note when there is a new chapter.)
It's not the Chat Blanc interlude (sorry), but I decided to release this in the meantime!
Outtake: A scene or sequence that was not included in the final version of a can think of it as a bonus or a deleted scene.
Chapter 8: Scripted Outtake
("I can't believe it!" Adrien Agreste came rushing out of the dressing room, giddy to return home and prepare himself for the afternoon party. "Father allowed me to go!"
"Lila?" He searched around the park and found a sight to marvel at.
He chuckled softly at the dark ginger sprawled all over the bench under the trees.
"You're going to... be mine.." She was sleep-talking. "Quit… playing hard to get…"
Cute.
Unable to resist, he coyly poked her cheeks.
"Mmm… Five more minutes."
Lila sounded different while asleep, almost as if she was a… normal person. Incapable of doing harm.
"Don't worry your… pretty little head." Was she talking about him?
He tried to cover up his laugh, but failed.
Nobody has ever called him pretty before.
"We simply need to order food…" She grumbled, raising a fist into the air.
"Eat Chloe's portion… thrash the party… and leaveher the bill…"
Yeah.
Lila was still the girl he knew her as.
"What… do you think… Mari?" He blinked.
Mari… nette?

.
… Not him?

"What are you doing?" He pulled himself away, surprised by Plagg's interruption.
"I w-wasn't doing anything." He clutched his shirt with slightly flushed cheeks.
Did he stutter?
"You even stuttered."
"No, I didn't!" Since when could Plagg read minds?"
"Yeah? Then why were you aaaaaall over her?" The kwami said as he gulped another slice of Camembert cheese.
He rubbed his neck awkwardly. "She's just a… classmate?"
"Keep telling yourself that." Plagg snarked.
"You got tired of ladybugs, so you switched over to foxes instead. Simple as that."
.
.
He shook his head.
Lila Rossi was the girl who forced her way into his life, and the girl that stopped insisting on becoming his girlfriend. She omitted the truth. Yet when he hung out with his friends more often thanks to her, she didn't cling to him anymore.
He should've been relieved about the change. This would make it easier for him to breathe because the scent of apricots would linger in his clothes when she was around, distracting him because she smelled nice-
A small leaf found its way onto Lila's forehead, and he moved in to remove it, unknowingly drawing his emerald eyes to her sleeping face.
… He thought he knew her.
But did he really?
She wasn't wearing a complicated expression that left him guessing about her true feelings. No sly outstare that felt like daggers cutting through his skin, or a grin that sometimes didn't reach her eyes when she talked to everyone around her.
There was no mask…
The leaf fell to the ground as he tucked her hair behind her ear, enrapt by the relaxed, content smile he had never seen before.
It suited her.

Adrien Agreste buried his hands in his face, and groaned.
"Oh, boy…" Plagg murmured, dread tingling at his destructive senses. "Why do I have a bad feeling about this?"
.
.
Lila Rossi is o̶n̶l̶y̶ ̶a̶ his classmate.
That's all.)

A/N Have a good day everyone!
I remembered a scene where Marinette is trying to find Adrien at school, and she meets a fencer and she tells him if he's seen a boy (Adrien), and begins to describe him.
She finished by saying: "and very handsome."
And the fencer got off his mask, and it turned out to be Adrien himself. He said this to her gobsmacked face: "Why, thank you."
That boy looks good and he knows it.
I was going to have this for chapter 7, but then it didn't fit so I added more stuff to this memory skit for Chat Blanc's interlude, but then I noticed it also didn't fit with what I had in mind, so I scrapped it.
(Need to rewatch Miraculous to nail their personalities, which I'm gonna do... when I got the time to do so.)
