"My name is Toshiro. While this story might not seem as scary, I still find it hard to believe."
"I worked my way and ended up being a police officer, where I served with pride. In fact, I was the youngest person in my office to become an officer. My partnered was named Tensen. He was a little arrogant and obnoxious, even dyed his hair blonde because he thought it made him look good, but he took pride in being a cop like I did. It might have been a little annoying, but we still got along."
Toshiro was proud to be a cop. Even though his partner was a little annoying, he put up with it and the two of them became friends.
"When we weren't working, we went out together. Of course, he said some annoying things and tried to hit on any woman he could. Being a cop has made him cocky, but I did my best to try and ignore it. I thought learning to work with your partner would make for a great officer."
Toshiro may not have liked Tensen's attitude, but he was still able to put up with it. Little did he know that he should have done something about it sooner.
"One day, we got a call that a thug took an entire bus hostage and had a knife at the driver. He was trying to make a getaway, but we cut him off. Tensen and I were the ones that ran inside the bus and tried to apprehend the suspect, but he jumped out through an emergency exit and tried running for it. Tensen was the first one to go after him and I followed."
When there was a hostage situation happening on a bus, Tensen and Toshrio tried to stop him. When the thug made a run for it, the two of them followed after him.
"Tensen was faster than me, so he got to the criminal first. I assumed he would just put him in cuffs, but he didn't. In fact, he used excessive force on him. He just kept beating the guy in the face and wouldn't stop. I had to act fast and pulled Tensen right off him. The criminal still tried to get up and run, but Tensen used his gun and actually shot at him. I couldn't believe he did any of that. That was going too far."
Tensen caught the criminal, but Toshiro couldn't believe that Tensen just kept beating on him. He managed to pull Tensen away, but Tensen didn't stopped and shot someone without warning or remorse.
"What the hell, Tensen?!" Toshiro shouted.
"He's a criminal. He got what he really deserved." Tensen responded.
"I was disgusted with what he claimed. We only shoot criminals when we're threatened, a means of self-defense. That wasn't the case with what just happened. That poor man didn't even try to fight back. I knew he was obnoxious, but I didn't know he was a rotten cop."
Toshiro hated what he saw. He couldn't believe he got stuck with a rotten cop like that.
"I went to the chief about this, but Tensen was able to avoid trouble since there was no proof. Tensen claimed he was simply doing his job and tried to apprehend a dangerous criminal. That's the thing about dirty cops like him: they know how the system works to avoid getting into trouble. Since that's the reason, it's easier for them to getaway with what they did. When the chief couldn't do much, I confronted Tensen about it. We argued and he told me that I am a cop and I should just do my job. I do, but I do it the right way. I warned him that if it happened again, I would do everything I can to get him kicked off the force. Of course, Tensen didn't take that sitting down."
Tensen was able to getaway with what he did, but Toshiro wouldn't just let it go. He knew to keep a closer eye on Tensen and made sure he wouldn't cross a line again.
"For days, I kept my eyes on Tensen, but he knew I was watching him. As a decent cop, I had to do what I could to stop him, but Tensen was going to do everything he could to make sure I don't get in his way. That's why when I returned home, I saw my apartment was torn apart. Someone was in here earlier and ransack the place. I even found an envelope that had pictures of me and people I care about, like my ailing grandmother. There was also a note that said "Stay Out of My Way". I knew it had to be Tensen threating me, but he knew not to leave anything behind that pointed to him. He had everything on me and I had nothing on him."
Toshiro tried his best to make sure Tensen didn't cross any lines, but Tensen fought back. He stalked and threatened Toshiro to ensure he doesn't get in Tensen's way. It became frustrating when it seemed like Toshiro couldn't do much and Tensen continued being on the force when he had no right to.
"One day, we got alert about a drug ring going off. I had to set things with Tensen aside, but I knew not to trust him and tried my best to watch him. We were able to find where it was happening, but the ringleader tried to make a run for it. of course, Tensen was the one that went after him. I claimed I was going to back Tensen up, but I was really making sure he wouldn't try anything. When most of the other gang was taken care of, two other cops came and joined me."
When the police became aware of a drug ring happening, they went into action. One tried running off with Tensen going after him, while Toshiro and two other cops went after him.
"I hurried after Tensen and found him. He beat another criminal to the ground and didn't stop. When he had the drug dealer down, he took out his gun and shot him multiple times when he didn't need to. Luckily, there were other cops who saw that and that meant Tensen was caught this time. They were astonished like I first was, but this meant I had him this time. We warned him to stand down and answer for what he did or we will have to use force. Tensen glared right at me like he wanted to kill me, and he even tried to. He took his service weapon and tried to shoot me, but I ducked out of the way in time with me and the other cops having no choice but to shoot him. We did and he went down."
Toshiro and two other cops finally caught Tensen in violating the badge as he shot the drug dealer down without mercy. That meant that Toshiro could finally bring him in. However, Tensen actually tried shooting at Toshiro. Toshiro was able to avoid the bullet and they shot Tensen down for what he did. Tensen was now dead like his victims.
"We explained to the chief what happened and I was actually rewarded for my service on brining down a rotten cop and honoring the bridge. However, I still can't get over what happened. I considered Tensen a friend, but he just tried to kill me. We had some good times together, but he's dead now and I still feel like he's haunting me."
