All this bonding was interrupted when Andy accidentally knocked over his piece on the floor. The piece fell in front of Rooney, of all things. Rooney was now laying on the floor like a lion.
Rooney meowed.
"Total douchebag." said Chucky remembering what Andy called his cat.
"Yeah, you can say that again!" said Andy turning around to pick up his piece. He hopped off his bed and bent down to get his piece and then Rooney scratched his hand. "Owww!"
Chucky looked at Andy's hand. He saw blood ooze out of his hand. "What is that?"
"Blood! Rooney scratched me and it hurts like crazy!" Andy confessed.
"Kitty hurt Andy?" Chucky didn't like the word "hurt".
"Yeah but I"ll be ok. I'm gonna go get a band-aid. Just stay put." Andy walked to his bathroom. In the bathroom, he made a comment. "I'm so sick of this cat!"
Chucky overheard what Andy said. Kitty hurt Andy? Chucky was going to handle that!
Once his bandaid was on, Andy heard Rooney again.
This time Rooney was yowling.
What was wrong now? Andy sighed with frustration. "Rooney, if you don't shut up now I'm going to put you back on dry food!" But when he made it back to his room, Andy was shocked at what he saw.
Chucky's eyes had turned red and he had Rooney in his hands, strangling the poor thing.
"Chucky stop!" Andy ran over to him, grabbed Rooney and put him on the floor. "Look! You can't do that! Why would you do that?"
"He was hurting you, remember? He was making you unhappy." said Chucky innocently.
Andy rolled his eyes and sighed out of frustration again. He got down on his knees and looked Chucky square in the eyes. "Look at me ok! You can't go around hurting people or cats! It's not cool! I know you're different! But that's gonna be our little secret! Don't go around saying weird stuff or creeping people out!"
"Hey! What's going on in here?...you've got this cat freaking out!" Shane was standing in the doorway holding Rooney.
Rooney was yowling again.
Chucky and Andy turned and looked at Shane.
Shane looked around and said, "And clean up this room, it's a mess in here!" He then walked away.
Just seeing Shane spoiled Andy's mood. Andy was having so much with his "little brother" but he was going to have to teach Chucky a lot about how things worked in the world.
