Morning came, and the duo was led to an area filled with fruits and vegetables.

"I didn't know that this existed," stated Sonata as she looked at the area filled with colorful food.

"Same here," responded Pinkie as she began to pick up some of the food.

"Still, thanks for bringing us here, Phil," spoke the former siren to their monkey friend as she began picking up some food.

"Phil?" asked Pinkie as she looked at the girl.

The party girl looked at the former siren and then at the monkey, who was busy walking and making sounds.

"Gotta call him something," responded Sonata.

Pinkie was about to agree when she saw the sun reflect off something.

"What's that? It's blinding my eyes," stated the party girl as she put an arm up to protect her eyes.

"Apologies, girls. Didn't see you there."

The girls heard a voice, as emerging from a bush was someone. They found a man holding a camera walking towards them.

"Didn't know there was someone else here? We thought we were the only ones," said Sonata as she saw the older man with the device.

"Hi, there. I'm Pinkie Pie!"

The girl rushed forward and began to shake the hand of the man very aggressively as his arm was going up and down just from the small girl.

"I'm Crosshair. I'm a Nature Photographer. You girls in trouble here?"

"We sure are. We actually crashed into this island due to some sleazy con artists," explained the former siren.

"Well, I'd be happy to offer you a ride off. My home and boat are pretty close to here," said Crosshair.

"Ohh, talk about lucky. Thanks, Mister," smiled Pinkie to the man.

The girls were led by the man as they were heading in the direction of his home on the island. They soon arrived at his Chalet and docks, and upon first glance, they started feeling uncomfortable.

"So, you live here all alone?" asked Sonata, slightly uneasy at the state of the home.

"One could say that. Honestly, I've been here for so long that the days start to blur together," stated Crosshair as they approached the door.

The man unlocked it as he stepped through with the girls trailing behind. Just like outside the home, the girls felt a bit uneasy as they saw the inside of the photographer's home. One thing that caught the girls' attention was the lack of photos.

"I have maps of the island and leading to the mainland. I need to fetch them, and we'll be on our way," said Crosshair as he started to head up a flight of stairs, "Oh, don't go into that room. It's nothing you need to worry about."

"Okey, dokey!" responded Pinkie with one of her signature smiles.

Pinkie waved as the man headed upstairs. Once he was out of sight, Sonata noticed something on the ground next to her. The former siren bent down to look at the small object as it looked like some bullet.

"Pinkie, I don't have a good feeling about this guy."

"What do you mean?" asked the cotton-candy-haired girl.

"Look," stated Sonata.

The former siren showed the party girl the item she found.

"A bullet?"

"Why would a photographer need this?" asked Sonata.

"Maybe he likes taking photos of it?" responded Pinkie.

"No, that doesn't sound right," replied Sonata as she felt there was more to this answer. At that moment, a thought ran across Pinkie's head.

"Actually, I think I heard the name Crosshair from Fluttershy. But it wasn't anything good," responded the pink-haired teen.

"Really? What did she say about him?" asked Sonata.

"I don't remember," responded the girl.

The girls started looking around. Sonata soon found some papers on him, but they were all in different languages.

"Look at these," said Sonata as she gestured to Pinkie at what she saw on a nearby table.

"These look like newspaper clippings, but none of these are in English," said Pinkie.

"But look at the pictures."

Sonata had a finger pointing at the pictures in the newspapers as Pinkie looked at them.

"He looks like he's trying to avoid the camera," said Pinkie as she found it odd why anyone would try to avoid a picture.

"Let's check that room out," said Sonata as she pointed to the room where the man warned them not to enter.

The girls began to slowly make their way to the forbidden room. They checked the stairway to see if the man was coming; once they heard nothing, they made their move. They gently opened the door as it creaked; the pair looked back at the stairway to see if Crosshair heard it, but nothing. With that, they entered the room and looked around it.

"It's too dark in here," said Sonata.

"Hang on, I think I found a light switch," Pinkie said as she felt about in the dark.

Pinkie turned it on and found stuffed hunting trophies of different animals, including a few endangered species.

"What is all this?" said Sonata, looking around the room.

"It looks like... animals... so many..." said Pinkie as she took in their surroundings. Safe to say, she was at a loss for words.

The girls were in awe at the entire room that surrounded them. However, they didn't notice someone while taking it all in.

"So, you found my hunting trophies."

The girls heard that voice as they turned around. Standing in the doorway was the man, who was none too pleased about the girls disobeying his orders.

"I thought I made it clear that you shouldn't enter," said Crosshair.

"You're a poacher," stated Pinkie.

"Guess the cat's out of the bag," chuckled the hunter.

"Those photos..." gasped Sonata as she now connected the lines.

"I've hunted animals all over the world. Unfortunately, it's left me a wanted man by law enforcement," explained Crosshair.

"Then what are you doing here? Other than escaping the law," stated Pinkie.

"This island was full of animals before you two came here. Perfect place for me to hunt in peace. Now, I'll take you two back to the mainland, and you keep my hunting island a secret." said Crosshair to the teens.

"Now, if we tell everybody about what we saw. Once we get home, we'll tell everyone about what you're doing," stated Sonata.

Crosshair sighed while secretly reaching for a pistol.

"I was seriously hoping to just take you home, but I guess the hard way it is," stated the poacher.

"What do you mean?" asked Pinkie.

Crosshair was about to show his gun when Phil suddenly came and attacked him.

"Phil!" shouted both girls.

The girls saw their monkey companion appear out of nowhere as he was shown on top of the man's head. It began to pull at his hair as he fell to the floor and crashed into things.

"Let's book it!" instructed Pinkie.

Phil jumped onto Pinkie's shoulder, but not before scratching Crosshair's left eye.

"Grab the maps!" shouted Sonata as they ran toward the door.

The pink-haired girl grabbed the pieces of paper on the nearby desks as the pair and monkey began to book it. They exited the room and quickly bolted out of the house. All the while, Crosshair was shown clutching the door to the room as he got up. His eye, while scratched, still functioned as he approached the entrance to his home.

"YOU GIRLS WILL REGRET THIS! YOU HEAR ME!" yelled the man as his voice echoed into the forest around him.

The girls kept running as they looked to get as far away as possible. They were looking to put enough distance between them and Crosshair. Once they got a good distance and checked to see if they were safe, they stopped to catch their breath.

"He's evil," said Sonata as she was bent over and breathing hard.

"Super duper evil! Now I know why Fluttershy didn't like him," stated Pinkie as she was sitting on the ground with her chest going up and down as she panted.

"We got to set traps at the ship," said Sonata as she felt the poacher might try to come for them. So the girls needed some way to defend themselves.

"Great idea. But, we'd need to get supplies first," responded Pinkie.

Phil, who had been on Pinkie's shoulder when the girls escaped and ran, was on the ground next to the pair. The monkey then rolled Pinkie the map they took. The girl opened it up, and there was a place on it that was labeled: Junk Harbor.

"Seems there's a place that might help us," said Pinkie as she looked at the map.

"It's close by, too," added Sonata as she saw where they were on the map and how far away their destination was.

"Then we better get moving before he catches us," suggested Pinkie.

The group then ran towards the place as they hoped to get some supplies to protect against the hunter. However, as they were heading to the place, they were unaware that a panther was following them.

Author's Note: Well, it seems the girls have met someone who has revealed his true intentions. And it seems that now he has some new threats to deal with. If things weren't bad before, they certainlyare now. As always leave a review expressing yourthoughts and comments.
