Bonnie walked down the woods with Dean, Cass and Benny as she looked at Benny warily as Benny noticed the look in her eyes. "I get it. You're worried what I might do once we make it topside, that I'll start eating your little piggies."

"That obvious, huh?" Bonnie asked sarcastically.

"By the time I got iced, I was strictly on blood transfusions. Donated blood." Benny assured as Bonnie shot him a skeptical look. "Not donated to me, I'll give you that, but I paid good black market scratch for it."

"So, what is that, like a vampire zone diet?" Dean asked.

"Look, all I'm saying is I started seeing something in humanity, OK?" Benny said as he turned to Dean. "Something that shouldn't be taken. I drink blood. I don't drink people."

"And why the hell should I believe you?" Dean snapped.

"I wouldn't dismiss him so quickly, Dean." Bonnie said as Dean stared at her incredulously.

"What, because like you said, two of your best friends are vampires?" Dean asked.

"Look, I get that you're wary but things aren't as black and white as you might think. I used to feel that way too, once I found out about the supernatural. All I'm saying is that it wouldn't hurt for you to keep a more open mind. It scares me too… but I've seen for myself what can happen if you let your fear and wariness get the best of you." Bonnie said as Dean considered, knowing she had a point. Sure, monster was a monster but not every monster was evil by nature or definition, though with some it was only a matter of time before they would give into their nature, though he couldn't really deny her arguments before they saw Cass looking around.

"What is it, Cass? More monsters?" Dean asked.

"Leviathan." Cass said and Dean paled.

"What's a Leviathan?" Bonnie asked.

"Nothing good. Can you blip out of here?" Dean asked.

"They're too close. I can't." Cass said before something crashed next to them that left behind a trail of black smoke and a hole in the ground, from which emerged black goo that materialized into a man who opened his jaws that looked monstrous.

"Oh, great." Dean groaned.

They turned to run but they didn't get very far as another pile of black goo crashed in front of them, blocking their path. Dean used his machete and cut the head of the Leviathan that had materialized in front of him. Another Leviathan pinned Cass down, about to take a bite off him before Benny cut its head off. Two more Leviathans neared Bonnie but she did a gesture and immobilized them, which Dean noticed before Bonnie threw them far away with telekinesis as he stared at her.

"What?" Bonnie asked.

"That was magic." Dean said, narrowing his eyes at her. "What are you? A witch?"

"Yeah…" Bonnie said and Dean looked at her warily. "Look, I just helped you, OK? I want to get out of here as much as you do."

"Dean, she's not evil." Cass pointed out as Dean looked at him incredulously. "She is a witch but she's not like most witches we've met. You know most of them use dark powers or draw their magic from demons but this was different."

Dean couldn't deny Cass's point and sure, a witch was a witch, but as far as he knew, Bonnie hadn't done anything wrong and had been trying to help them this whole time but still, the least she owed him was an explanation.

"Could you please explain how did you do that?" Dean asked warily, tightening the grip on his machete.

Bonnie sighed and took a breath. "I come from a bloodline of powerful witches. My ancestor was one of the most powerful witches that ever lived in ancient Greece and my Grams was one too. I discovered my powers a few years ago when I was in high school and Grams's the one who taught me what I know. I'm trying to use my magic for good and I've always tried to used them to help my friends, even though…" She sighed again, when she noticed Dean's apprehensive look. "I know it comes at a price if you're not careful and I've paid for it before."

"Dean, she's had multiple chances to kill us before, but she's helped us at every turn." Cass pointed out.

Dean considered for a moment. Sure, his experience with witches had never been the most pleasant but not every witch he had encountered was evil, really. After a moment, he relaxed his grip on his blade. "I'm sorry. I've got some biases against witches and let's just say I don't have the best experience with them."

Bonnie nodded. After Kai, she couldn't blame Dean for his apprehensive attitude.

"What are your experiences with witches?" Bonnie asked, curious as they walked down the woods before he noticed how Dean's face contorted in disgust.

"Look, no offense to you but most of the witches I've met, they've hurt people, badly. They make hex bags, they hide them and they get revenge on whoever they dislike or whoever rubs them wrong even the tiniest bit and they always do it in the most brutal way possible and their jobs are never clean, always gory and everytime me and brother have had to put them down." Dean said and Bonnie tensed and felt an uncomfortable feeling in her stomach. There was a time he probably wouldn't hesitate to kill her but she needed to prove to him he could trust her and considering these kinds of experiences with witches, she couldn't really blame him for his biases.

"Look, I'm nothing like them, OK? I get that you might not trust me but I'm only trying to help." Bonnie said as he turned to her and Bonnie could swear his face softened for a moment before hardening again as she smiled, seeming to have some effect on him. "And I know magic can… corrupt. It comes at a price and… I've learned that the hard way. I've hurt the people I love with my magic, even though I didn't mean to and I'm trying."

Dean could tell she was sincere and trying to help before nodding. "You wanna help? Then prove it, kiddo."

Bonnie smiled and nodded. "I'll try."

They walked down the woods as Dean and Cass told her a congested version of their story.

"It might sound crazy—" Dean began.

"I'm a witch, I was a ghost at one point and I've been friends with vampires and werewolves before, so this isn't that much of a stretch for me, besides, it's not the first time I've heard of supernatural hunters. Two my friends are ones too. But angels and demons are still a bit difficult pill to swallow." Bonnie said and Dean nodded.

"We're getting close." Benny said.

"Are you sure?" Bonnie asked.

"Well, I don't see crap." Dean snapped as they moved past the branches in the woods. "How the hell is this escape hatch supposed to look like?"

"He doesn't know." Cass said.

"How do we know that you weren't just playing us this whole time? I mean, for all we know, we've been walking down here for nothing." Bonnie pointed out.

"It's here, they promised." Benny said.

"Oh, they? That's comforting." Dean said sarcastically.

"Well, even if it does exist—" Cass began.

"Broken record, Cass." Benny said.

"It's a human portal. There's still no proof that an angel can pass." Cass pointed out.

"Stow it, Cass, you're coming. That's final." Dean said.

"But how do we know it will let him through?" Bonnie pointed out as Dean looked at her incredulously. "Look, I'm not saying I want to leave anyone behind, Dean, but… you and I may get out but…" She gave Cass an apologetic look.

"Save the Hallmark, it's gonna work, OK? Nobody gets left behind." Dean said firmly.

They kept walking down the woods as they followed Benny.

"Maybe you were lied to, maybe there is no seam." Cass argued.

"I lie. I don't get lied to. Aren't you guys all about faith?" Benny asked.

"Not particularly." Cass sighed as they stopped and looked around.

"Even if that exit you talked about is real, how do we know we're getting close to it?" Bonnie asked, when they felt a breeze and saw a leaf floating in the air and they looked up the hill to see a blue glowing portal.

"Oh, ye of frigging little faith." Benny said.

"What the hell…" Dean muttered. He had seen strange things before but this was something new.

"There it is. It's reacting to you both." Cass said, turning to Dean and Bonnie.

Bonnie then turned to Dean and Benny. "Are you sure you know what you're doing? Trust me, when a monster soul goes through you, it's not a good feeling. I've been there."

"Only one way to find out." Dean said, rolling up his sleeve and cutting himself on the forearm, turning to Benny. "You ready?"

"Putting a lot of trust in you, brother." Benny said as they held hands.

"You earned it." Dean said before he cut Benny across his forearm.

"I'll see you on the other side." Benny said and Bonnie winced at hearing 'the other side' before he chuckled at her. "No pun intended to you, pumpkin."

Dean said something in an unknown language before Benny glowed and turned into some flaming red and black mist that was sucked into the cut on Dean's forearm as it closed.

"Let's go." Dean ordered as they climbed up the hill and ran to the portal as fast as they could, with the strong wind blowing before they stopped.

"Wait!" Cass said before piles of black goo crashed behind them and materialized into Leviathans.

Bonnie raised her hand and one of them was sent flying back as Dean rushed at another but the Leviathan threw him down the steep. Cass rushed to the Leviathan as they began exchanging blows but Cass found himself quickly overpowered before the Leviathan grabbed Cass by his coat and the Leviathan opened his jaws, about to devour Cass before Dean got behind the Leviathan, cutting its head off. The other Leviathan ran at them but Bonnie raised her hand and froze the Leviathan before Dean cut its head off.

Bonnie helped Cass on his feet as the wind grew stronger.

"We gotta move! The portal's closing!" Dean ordered.

They ran to the portal as they climbed up the cliff but Cass was lagging behind.

"Cass, come on! Hurry!" Bonnie yelled as they climbed to the portal as Dean took Bonnie's hand and helped her up before Dean attempted to reach to Cass.

"Come on!" Dean ordered as Cass took his hand. "I got you! Hold on!"

"Dean!" Cass shouted.

"Hold on!" Dean cried.

"We have to go!" Bonnie yelled as she turned, about to reach Cass as she saw Dean's hand slipping.

"Go!" Cass yelled as Dean lost his grip on Cass's hand before the portal closed.

In the woods in Maine, a man and a woman were sleeping in a tent, when they heard a loud noise as a blinding flash of light shone outside of the tent.

"Will, get up." The woman shook the man. "Something just happened."

The light dimmed out as Will came to and they heard rustling.

"Go. Go do something." The woman ordered to Will.

"What are we supposed to—" Will then noticed how terrified she was as he decided to pick a flashlight and went out. "Hello? Hello?"

"Hello."

Will turned to see a man in his late 30s and a young girl in late 20s covered in dirt.

"Are you alright?" Will asked.

"Where's the road?" Dean asked.

"12 miles that way." Will pointed.

"Do you mind if we take some food and water and cash?" Bonnie asked, looking tired.

Will and his girlfriend looked a bit frightened by some strangers appearing out of the sudden near their camp but so far they had not threatened them so they figured the sooner they get them off their backs, the better.

"Yeah. Sure." Will's girlfriend nodded.

Dean and Bonnie were walking down the road, with Dean being silent the whole time but Bonnie could see the pain in his eyes and decided that it would be better if he was not bottling it up the whole time.

"Dean…" Bonnie whispered, looking apologetic as he stopped. She didn't know Dean or Cass that well but she could tell that they had been through a lot and were close friends, even though their history was a bit complicated from what Dean had told her as she placed her hand on Dean's shoulder, doing whatever little she could to comfort him. "I'm sorry."

Dean turned and stared for a few moments, processing that he had lost his best friend. After how many people he had lost in years, it never stops being devastating to lose more people he cares about.

"Let's get out of here." Dean said. "First we take care of Benny… then I'll find my brother."

"I have to get back to Mystic Falls." Bonnie said and Dean looked at her incredulously.

"Are you serious? After what you've been through there—"

"It's still my home, Dean. And I have friends there. I can't just leave them behind. I have to go back." Bonnie pointed out and Dean realized she had a point there, though if what she had told him about that place was true… the least Dean owed her was to watch her back after how she had helped him.

"Not alone you're not." Dean said and Bonnie looked at him in surprise. "Look, if half the things you've told me and what I've heard about Mystic Falls is true, then you're just gonna jump from the frying pan into the fire. No way I'm letting you go there alone. But first things first. I've got bigger concerns right now. My brother and Kevin. And honestly, we make a pretty good team. So how about this? You help me find Sammy and Kevin and then we'll see what can we do about Mystic Falls. Deal?"

Bonnie considered. While she grew close to Dean a bit after how they had helped each other, she didn't want to get involved in whatever mess he was in but after what they had been through, the least she owed him was to help him out.

"I guess we'll see how I can help." Bonnie said as they shook hands.

And Bonnie is now going to join Dean and Sam for now. Don't worry, she's going to reunite with Mystic Falls gang soon.
