Gaia was currently in the secret corner of the locker room on her phone. She skipped gym class because her stomach hurt, and she didn't feel like participating.
All of a sudden, she saw the young teacher assistant come into the locker room. She looked around to see that no one was there. Where Gaia was sitting, she could see the TA, but the TA couldn't see her.
After thinking the coast is clear, this TA woman puts the combo for one locker. She opens it, slipping a vanilla folder into the student's locker.
" What the hell is in that folder?" Gaia thought.
The TA quickly closes the locker and leaves. Gaia got up from the spot, trying to see which locker it was. Before she could, all gym class students flooded the locker room.
After that weird incident, the rest of the day went by mundanely.
The first Cheerleading practice of this year was great. Maddy and Gaia are co-captains this year, so we were in charge of making the decisions. They decided the team was doing a familiar routine for tomorrow's pep rally, so everyone was on point.
It was slightly awkward since Gaia's ex, Samantha, was on the team also. They didn't have any animosity; however, Maddy kept making jokes about Gaia and Fez. Samantha definitely heard them but didn't react negatively at the moment.
After practice, Maddy, Cassie, and I got into my car so Gaia could drop them off at Cassie's place.
" So, how are you and Fez going?' Cassie asked, slightly cooing.
Cassie was the type of girl who loved the idea of love and loved hearing her friends talk about their relationships.
" it's great. He's the first guy I've actually liked in a long time," Gaia expressed giddily.
" Because you're gay! Well, at least bi, but heavy on the attracted to women," Maddy teased.
Cassie and Maddy burst into laughter, while Gaia tried to keep a stone face but failed miserably.
What Maddy said wasn't wrong. Gaia was, on average more attracted to women than men. she had 7 sexual partners. Most were women. she rarely talked about any guy around the school but would drool over a cute girl who walked past.
" yeah, because guys are usually a waste of time. I don't know how the straights do it," she pointed to her two friends in the car.
" Bitch, you're literally getting dicked down by a man. Pipe down!" Maddy playfully hits Gaia's head.
They got to Howard's residence, and Gaia went in to say hi to Lexi. They briefly said hi to Suze and went upstairs. Lexi was on her bed typing. Gaia jumped on her, squeezing her hard.
" GG! We like just saw each other!" Lexi laughed.
" so? I love seeing you!" Gaia rocked them back and forth for a couple of seconds and released them.
She
stayed for a brief moment with the trio but soon left to have some alone time before hanging out with Jules again. Gaia drove to the mall and walked around, going to all the high-end stores. She brought some things from Gucci and Chanel and bought some new lingerie.
Gaia sat down on a mall bench before going to the sneaker store. Her eyes wandered until they landed on this very young girl (who couldn't be more than 18) with a baby in a stroller. The baby was crying loudly, and the young mom anxiously took her out and attempted to soothe her. Gaia looked at the girl and her baby with a pained expression, followed by a mixture of emotions that she quickly suppressed. So she quickly got up and walked to the sneaker store to escape.
As she walked out of the sneaker store, she saw someone familiar. Gaia moved closer to get a better look before she went over there. It was a very tall figure with a hoodie, looking down at the lower floor. What gave it away was the watch on the wrist. It was a Rolex that was customized to the person wearing it. How did Gaia know that? She's the one that gave it to the dickhead
"Nate fucking Jacobs," she groaned under her breath.
She couldn't escape this dude!
Gaia tried to tip-toe past, hoping that he wouldn't notice.
Nate was currently stalking Tyler, the fucking scumbag who raped Maddy at the party. He was so focused, but a familiar perfume snapped him out of his trance. His head looked towards the right and saw Gaia walking past.
" GG?" Nate asked, shocked. He wasn't expecting her in the mall, especially when doing his recon on Tyler.
Gaia tried to keep walking and ignore him, but Nate caught up with her.
" GG, I know what your favorite perfume smells like" Nate rolled his eyes, annoyed that she tried to ignore him.
She cursed herself for spilling her perfume in her bag.
Gaia turned around and sighed " what do you want?"
" you look good," Nate complimented.
Nate liked her outfit today besides her sneakers. He did wish she would wear open-toe shoes more.
" I know," Gaia answered smartly.
Nate rolled his eyes. He just wanted to talk to her like they used to before they broke up. He missed talking to her. " can we just have a conversation without you being a bitch. For Maddy's sake?" Nate pleaded with his ex.
" Maddy? You guys aren't together anymore. " Gaia looked at her ex, confused.
Maddy didnt tell her best friend about her texting Nate after the party since she knew Gaia would be pissed.
" Yeah, for now, but you know it's only a matter of time," Nate said with a shit-eating grin plastered on his face.
Gaia's face cringed in disappointment. She knew they would be together in the back of her mind, but in her heart, she had hope.
Gaia looked up at her ex, whose face had a smug look of satisfaction. Gaia's hands balled up in anger from the feeling of powerlessness Nate made her feel at that moment.
"Hopefully, one day, she'll finally dump your ass like I did," Gaia shaded.
Nate's eyes darkened, and anger radiated off him like the sun. He stepped closer, trying to intimidate Gaia, and said, "You think you're hilarious, huh?"
"I know I am" Gaia took a step closer to him. He wasn't really intimidating her as he wanted to.
He really missed being close to her. Nate only riles her up because he hates her for how they ended, but he still loves her.
"Listen, I came to clear my head, and talking to you isn't helping. So do you mind?" Gaia scoffed and pushed past him.
Nate let her go because he was still on a mission. He returned to his original spot and peered down, watching Tyler as he helped a customer at his job.
Jules finally texted back, and Gaia met her at Jule's house. They went to her room and decided to eat an edible and watch the haunting of Hill House.
"No offense, but why do white people always buy the creepiest houses in these movies? Ya'll can't tell something ain't right with this shit?" Gaia scoffed, making Jules laugh.
Gaia was trying to joke to make it less scary because Jules was not a fan of horror films/movies. She was snuggled up with Gaia.
Gaia was periodically texting throughout the show.

Gaia ignored text messages from Maddy and Cassie. Knowing if she messaged Cassie, Maddy would realize she was ignoring her. She wasn't mad at Maddy; she just didn't want to talk about her and Nate's relationship right now.
Gaia ignored Nate's text, saying he wanted them to be friends again. She never blocked him just in case something happened to Maddy and he was with her.
" fuck you," Gaia mumbled, but Jules heard.
"What's wrong ?" Jules asked, concerned.
"Nate is texting me, trying to be "friends."" Gaia tossed her phone toward Jules so she could see the messages. Jules scoffed and rolled her eyes at the name Nate.
"What a creep! Why does he want to be friends? That's so weird? " Jules asked, confused and frustrated for me.
Gaia had explained the whole love triangle between her, Nate, and Maddy, which she rarely did. She didn't like dwelling on the past.
Jules thought it was crazy that she and Maddy were still friends, let alone best friends.
" Maybe she's one of my soul mates in a friendly way, you know. Someone who will always be in your life, through thick and thin or something like that," Gaia explained, digging into the jar to eat another edible.
" you think that's real? Soulmates? " Jules asked.
"Yeah. I really do" Gaia smiled.
Jules's phone dinged, and she quickly picked her phone up to see the message.
"Who have you been texting?" Gaia teased. She tickled Jules's sides a bit, making the blonde giggle.
"it's this guy named shyguy118. Look! " Jules showed Gaia his profile, which was just his body and a profile that said, "New to this. Not out. No hookups. Looking for something real."
"He's a catfish!" Gaia laughed. Jules's jaw dropped from Gaia's boldness, and she started giggling, also.
" No, he isn't. Stop!" Jules replied.
"Come on! Looking for something real? He sounds like he's baiting kind-hearted people like you to take the bait," Gaia explained her position.
" I'll be fine, GG. It probably won't go anywhere," Jules waved off.
They continued to watch the show until Gaia got a text from BB with a video.

She opened it and saw a BBW girl getting her cheeks clapped from the back. Jules's head immediately snapped toward her phone when she heard the moans. They both watched the video until it was over, in shock. Gaia automatically recognized that it was Kat.
"Was that Kat?"Jules looked at Gaia
" I don't think so," Gaia lied. She knew this would devastate Kat.
The two returned to the show and finished the third episode, calling it a night.
Gaia went back to her house. It was quiet and empty, as usual. She heated up some leftover chicken and rice and sat at the dining room table to eat. As soon as she left, she texted Kat, face-timing her once she got home.
As soon as Kat got on camera, she broke down and told Gaia it was her in the video. She even told Gaia how she really felt about losing her virginity.
I think Gaia's superpower is giving unconditional love. She made people feel comfortable about their deepest darkest feelings and secrets. I don't know; she has a Motherly aura about her. You can tell her some fucked up shit, and she would still want the best for you. Even though I said that was her superpower, it was also her weakness.
Gaia went on a mission to discover who was spreading the tape and found that Mckay's little brothers were spreading it around.
" OK, Kat, here's the plan," Gaia explained, and Kat listened.
The next day at school, Gaia walked Kat in and told her to hold her head high so no one suspected it was her. Kat confronted thing 1 and thing 2 with Gaia as a form of enforcer. Kat threatened to go to the police and make them go to jail. What made them fold was Gaia threatening to beat them to an inch of their lives. The twins deleted the video and helped spread the word that it was someone else.
"thank you, Gaia" Kat hugged her in between classes.
" you think I would let you go out like that? You're my wifey, remember" Gaia wrapped her friend into a hug, and Kat reciprocated.
