authors note : My readers you leave me humbled by the support.

Later on that day

"Rachel and Haley. Are going to be checking on the kids." Brooke proclaimed.

"Along with Nathan. Mouth. Nathan. So basically they will be fully supervised." Lucas added in.

"You need to pack. I have my suitcases in the car already." Brooke leaned over kissing him.

"Light layers. Plus between the fireplace. The shower. jacuzzi."

"And our suite. I think clothes being on is optional." Lucas said.

Brooke smiled up at him. "You are something else."

"But yes once we're alone up there. We can play by our own rules."

"Plus i'm very in love with my husband so we have to keep this quiet." Brooke teased.

"I plan to worship and cherish this time. That husband of yours is the luckiest man on earth. I mean you are successful. Stunning. A nature mother. Business woman and so much more." Lucas replied.

"Don't you forget it." Brooke replied.

Lucas leaned over kissing her.

Brooke kissed him back.

It was a knocking at the door that made them pull apart.

"I've got it." Brooke said.

Brooke walked towards their bedroom door. Opening it with a smile.

At the sight of Alaska.

"My favorite girl in the world."

"What can i do for you honey.?" Brooke asked.

Her mini me. Stood in front of her. Wearing her personally designed clothes over bros PJs. The colors purple and black.

Her brown hair pulled into a bun.

"I don't want you and daddy to go."

"I have a bad feeling." Alaska admitted.

The expression on Brooke's face softened.

"Me and you're dad are going to be just perfect. We'll be gone a few days then back."

"You'll see." Brooke replied.

"We'll be in constant contact. Phone calls. Texts. Video chats." Lucas added in.

"It's not that. I don't want you to leave us here."

"I feel like someone is watching me."

"Its like the grey and dark before it rains." Alaska explained.

"We should cancel the trip." "We always go out of town later." Brooke announced. Looking to her husband.

"You're mom is right Allie. The trip can wait. We won't have fun if you're worried and stressed." Lucas added in.

"No don't cancel you're big trip. I'm okay." She reassured them.

...

Alaska spent the next few days. Doing all she could to reassure her parents. She was okay. Her worry and stress were all about nightmares she had been having.

She smiled so hard her face hurt.

Waving as her parents left for their trip.

...

Peyton was relieved to finally have some freedom. She had been under her father's eye. Since she left the hospital.

She smiled at the sight of Alaska.

Who was seated on the nearby tree swing.

"You look just like you're mom."

"I miss her. She was my best friend."

" I'm you're aunt Peyton." She announced.

"In another life and time. You would of been my little girl."

"My girl." Peyton said softly.

Alaska's muffled screams soon became silent.

"Get her in the car and drive. I'll stay back here with her." Peyton instructed.
