Invisible Ties

Chapter 7

Brooke was awoken by the ringing of her cellphone.

She picked it up and placed it to her ear.

She felt her heart sink as she got out of bed and reached for her car keys and purse.

"We have to go.! The boys called me."

"They can't find her! She was right outside on the porch swing."

"Who would do this!" Brooke exclaimed.

Lucas got out of bed and hurridly gathered himself and anything he would think to need.

Once they made it down the mountain. They drove straight towards the airport.

Brooke stared at the woman wild eyed.

"I told you me and my husband need to get home now!"

"It's an emergency! We're going through those doors and on the plane!" Brooke proclaimed.

Feeling eyes on her as she and Lucas made their way through the terminal.

...

Meanwhile in Tree Hill

"She was out there half an hour to an hour at the most."

"She steps away from the house. We always keep a close eye on her but she was right there. Where she has been plenty of times before." Langston explained.

"My parents are on the way back to town. They know what's going on."

"Here is a picture of my sister. She was wearing her pajamas. Purple and black with the clothes over bros logo on it." Landon explained.

"Enough with the questions. Find our sister!" Langston exclaimed.

"They are trying to help. We have to follow their direction." Landon replied. Looking to his brother.

"We're here. We are going to do anything and everything possible to bring back our baby girl." Brooke proclaimed.

Walking through the front door engulfing her sons.

Lucas's head was spinning. His thoughts racing.

He knew who would do this. He had no doubt in his mind Peyton was involved.

...

"What do we do when she wakes up.?" A voice asked.

"She's mine. She was supposed to my daughter with Lucas."

"But Brooke got in the way." Peyton explained.

The car eventually stopped and Peyton gently attempted to pick her up and bring her to their next location.

But Alaska pushed against Peyton. Climbing over her and out of the car.

Alaska didn't look back as she ran into the darkness.

"Go after her!" Peyton yelled.

Peyton followed along in her car.
