school was going to start up again and Cass was worried. Even though he wasn't going to school but helping Jack pick out things made him nervous. They had a good thing going during the summer. Cass was texting Dean when Jack come down from his room. It was afternoon. The sun is high in the sky. Cass looked up from his phone and smiled.

"Hello, Jack. How's your book?" Cass asked laughing at Dean. Jack smiled and laughed a little.

"It's good. Hey um, are we going to go shopping soon? For school I mean?" Jack asked sitting down on the chair and looking down at his phone as well. It was twelve-thirty. Cass smiled and nodded.

"Of course, we can go later today," Cass said laughing at Dean again. Jack smiled.

"Who are you talking to?" Jack asked turning on the TV. Cass looked up at it and said:

"Dean, he and Sam are coming over to see us tomorrow. If that is alright?" Jack smiled at him and nodded. He wasn't worried. He liked Sam and Dean. Even though Dean didn't like him at first, but he warmed up to him. Jack's smile grew wide when he thought of the time that they all went fishing and Dean's car. He loved Dean's car. Jack looked at Cass and nodded.

"Yeah, then I can tell them about my first day of school tomorrow," Jack said getting off the chair and running out of the room. Cass laughed before he texted Dean back. Saying that Jack is excited to see them.

School was here after what felt like a long summer. Jack was glad that Cass picked him up in the beginning. Or else he would have to deal with school and adjust to his new home life at the same time. Jack sighed as he picked up his phone and backpack and said: "New year, I can do this," Jack looked out the window when he saw the bus and walked out of his room.

"Ready to go Jack?" Cass asked Jack who waved to the bus driver.

"Yep," Jack answered before he hugged Cass and walked to the bus. Cass watched the bus pull away with a small smile. He is doing a good job. He knows that he can do this. He looked down at his phone when he heard it buzz.

"Hello, Dean," Cass said with a bright smile on his face.

"Hey, how did the first morning of school go?" Dean asked. Cass smiled at him and sat down outside.

"Good, he didn't seem nervous, but you know me. I'm not good with…"

"I know, hey so what time do you want us to come over? We finished that case by the way," Dean said making Cass smile.

When Jack got home from school he was greeted by a hug from Dean and then Sam. "Hey buddy how are you?" Dean asked while Sam ruffled his hair.

"I'm great! School is great. I can't wait to tell you and uncle about it," Jack said bouncing on his feet. Both brothers smiled at the twelve-year-old.

"Well, let's hear it," Sam said as they all walked into the living room. Jack and Cass knew that they will all be fine now. No matter what happens.
