Chapter 11
authors note : We are just picking up where we left off because Lucas has done it. Pushed the buttons. His has ulocked Brooke's mother bear instinct.
"Seriously Lucas. You are somehow throwing you're selfish and self serving bad decisions back on me!"
"You put her over me i was going along in our life."
"Thinking finally i was first with you."
"I was enough. But of course when Precious Peyton needs saving."
"There you are. I'm so tired of this bullshit!"
"I gave you everything i have to give. And none of that matters!" Brooke proclaimed.
"Are you hearing me. I saved our daughter. I brought her home."
"Peyton isn't an obstacle. She isn't a challenge for you to defeat."
"You're my wife. This is our family."
"Can't we just focus on that and move on already." Lucas insisted.
"Where is she now.?" Brooke asked.
"She was shot by Larry. I don't know what her condition is at this point." Lucas replied.
"Momma. I can't sleep." Alaska announced.
Entering the bedroom. After seeing the bedroom light on hearing muffled back and forth.
She came inside.
Now wearing purple and pink pjs. Her straight brown hair pulled into two pony tails.
"Why don't you go and check on her and i'll take care of Alaska." Brooke suggested.
Brooke saw the expression on his face change. He was more concerned about Peyton then he was willing to admit.
"I'll be back." Lucas replied. Grabbing his cellphone before leaving the bedroom.
"Get over here Allie. You have nothing to worry about."
"The people who took you won't ever have the chance."
"To do that again. You're home and safe."
"I will make sure of that and so will you're brothers." Brooke stated matter of fact.
"Can i stay here and sleep.?" Alaska asked.
"Sure thing. You can sleep on empty side."
"You're dad isn't sleeping there."
"I'll tell you a story about the mean angry witch. Her heartless husband. And the beautiful girl." Brooke replied.
She wrapped Alaska in her arms and kissed her forehead.
She had almost lost her little girl at the hands of Larry and Peyton.
But what hurt the most was the lying and sneaking around from her husband.
How was she supposed to trust him regarding their marriage.?
With their daughter after the danger he put her in.?

Lucas returned after his phone call from the hospital.
To find the front door to the bedroom locked.
