New Laptop

July 2022

Ratchet walked into the Apple Store, he ordered four of the brand new 2022 Macbook Pros for himself and his family.

"Hello, sir, welcome to Apple." a woman greeted him.

"Hi, I ordered four 2022 MacBook Pros."

"I'll check…" the woman said, checking her iPad. Ratchet waited for her to say something.

"Oh, yes. Under the name Ratchet Davis, correct?" she asked

"Yes," he said as he nodded his head.

"Alright, give me one second.:" She said before walking away to grab the laptops from the back of the store.

She came back a few minutes later with the laptops in her hands.

She set the computers down in front of him. Ratchet grabbed his card and handed it to the woman. She scanned it and typed something into her iPad.

"Alright, your total will be fifty-one ninety-six," she said.

Ratchet handed his card and she swiped it then she bagged everything up for him.

"Thank you." Ratchet said he looked at her nametag.

"Kylee. Well thanks, Kylee," he said.

"Oh, can I take a picture with you? My boyfriend and I love your games," she said.

"Sure," he said, she took out her phone and took a selfie with the PlayStation Star.

"Thank you, Ratchet," he said

"Oh, and to make your day extra special, here's an autograph." He said as he wrote his signature down on the button of his receipt, where the barcode was, and handed it to her.

"Oh my god! Thank you, Ratchet!" Kylee said Ratchet smiled and gave her a hug and a high five.

"Thank you, Ratchet!" Kylee said as he saw her leave the store with the four computers.

"How was the Apple Store, did you get them?" Clank asked, sitting on the couch.

"Package secured," he said. Ratchet opened the first one which was his computer. He pulled the paper off of the screen and set it up. Then he did to all of the others too. He grabbed all their computers, went to the garage, and sat on his workbench.

He unscrewed everything off and changed something so all their data and his would be in the new computers.

He got done with the last computer, which was his wife's he grabbed his screwdriver and screwed everything back in its place.

Ratchet was recording their reactions for TikTok as soon as they got home.

Rivet ran up with her new laptop hugging him.

"Thank you baby." he smiled and kissed her.

RJ and Roy were in shock.

"No! NO! Dude, are you for real? Bruh?" RJ asked. His brother stood there with his hands covering his mouth.

"Yeah, they're yours," he said, and they both hugged their father.

"Thanks, dad!" Roy said

"No problem guys, enjoy them." he smiled and hugged him.
