A/N:
Hi there!
To provide you with a little update, I was on a job interview on Monday, and they've called me back for a 2nd interview on Thursday. It's only for a job lasting until January 31st, but it's more than I have now, so I'm gonna be happy for it if I get it!
I'm still working on this story because it's not a whole lot left of it, which I'm sure you can feel, too :)

Rating: NC-17
Summary: Freaky Friday with a Twilight Twist. New Moon AU.
As much as Bella and Edward love each other, they can't possibly understand what the other's life is like.
On Bella's 18th birthday, instead of a paper cut, a switch is about to make Forks even weirder.
How will Bella cope with suddenly being a 104-year-old mind-reading vampire in love with her singer? And how will Edward cope with being a human in love with a vampire?

Chapter 71
"I wish I had an explanation or a theory of any kind as to how exactly this switch happened, but I don't. This is the first time I've ever heard concrete proof that parallel universes even exist," Carlisle said later that day when they were all gathered in the living room of the Cullen house.
Bella sat on the couch together with Edward and Alice perched on the arm rest next to her, which meant that Jasper was standing right behind them. He was sending out waves of calm to everybody, but it wasn't clear if it was done out of necessity or just habit because no one was particularly agitated.
"So you have no idea why we pertained our alternate self's memories while in their universe, but none of what happened here while we were gone?" Bella asked because out of everything that had happened, that was what worried her the most.
Carlisle gave them both an apologetic grimace. "Sorry, but no. I could say it had something to do with the intent of the switch. You needed to understand each other better and simply swapping existence wouldn't have been enough unless you truly knew what the other had gone through, but that's just me trying to find logic in an illogical situation."
"I don't think just moving past it will be conducive to the bigger picture," Edward said in reply of someone's thoughts. "If we can't remember what happened, you will have to tell us."
"No one wanted to look me in the eye at school today," Bella said. "What did she do?"
"It wasn't too bad," Alice said since she was the only one who'd actually been there. "She just told those kids you call friends off. It was long overdue if you ask me."
"Seriously?" Bella turned her head to look at her. "What happened?"
"I can't know for sure what they were thinking, but all she had to do was look at Edward's face, seeing how uncomfortable he was, and she went off on both Jessica and Lauren." Alice's face broke into a wide grin. "It was quite entertaining, and I doubt those two will underestimate you again."
"I, for one, hope that's true," Edward said, and Bella turned to him. "The amount of nasty thoughts those two have had about you since we got together would astound you."
Bella let that sink in for a moment, and then shook her head. "You know what, after having experienced being the mind-reading vampire myself, and hearing what they thought of us in that universe, I don't expect anything those two can concoct will surprise me anymore."
A/N:
It was about time those two were confronted. Jessica and Lauren (canonically) are nasty to Bella in every universe. I've written a few versions of them that aren't the worst, but those characters are basically what I imagine the Twilight version of a "Karen" is xD No offense to anyone actually named Karen who's a decent human being 3
They were only gone for twenty-four hours so not too much damage can be done in that time span. The important thing is that our couple is now working through the issues instead of letting them stew.
I don't know when I'll have the next chapter ready for you, but I am feeling better lately and my creativity is slowly returning, so thanks to all of you for remaining patient and sticking with me through this. Love you!
Stay Awesome!
