LaCuevademisgustos: Thanks for the compliment. I wanna keep Scott in character but give him the traits we love about his All Stars counterpart. Plus given what I have planned later, this will be much more warranted.
The Zoey and Dakota interactions felt needed given their canon dynamic.
I figured the mine challenge would allow inter-team bonds to show, especially since the mine challenge is less controlled then others.
Sam deserved a crowning moment to make up for the "See his moment of triumph, SIKE, he still fails." moments he got in canon.
The Riverian: Yeah Dakota deserved to stick around without Sam more.
acosta perez jose ramiro: Yeah, glad I gave him a good farewell.
Toxic Rats: Lightning, Jo, Mike
Mutant Maggots: Cameron, Zoey, Scott, Dakota, Brick
"Last time on Total Drama Revenge Of The Island, the campers all pitched in to help with an environmental coverup… I mean challenge." Chris began recapping, "Mike introduced us to his newest personality Manitoba Smith, his most arrogant persona yet. Sam overcame his pushover status and saved the opposing team from peril, which caused his actual team, mainly Jo, to give him the heave hurl." Chris explained to the viewers, "Makes you wanna reflect doesn't it? Maybe with a cup of McLean brand coffee."
He then took a sip of said coffee and immediately spat it out, "Bitter-" Chris began before catching himself, "Better! Than the rest."
He not so secretly poured his coffee in the water which caused a fish to pop up from below and throw up.
"Who will survive?" Chris asked with a smile, "Who will take a ride in the sky! Find out right here on Total! Drama! Revenge Of The Island!"
(After theme song)
We begin today's or tonight's episode with both teams sleeping on a wooden raft with both of their logos on stands.
Soon an alarm clock blared causing the contestants to wake up with a start, except Lightning.
"Where are we?" Mike asked his teammate who shrugged, "Chris must have sent us adrift at sea when we were sleeping." Jo briefly guessed.
"Yeah…" Scott said as he and Zoey looked on in the distance before remembering, "Wait. I don't remember anything after dinner. Do you?" He asked the Indie Chick who shrugged.
"Dinner! That's it!" Cameron made a realization.
A flashback began showing the Mess Hall and Cameron receiving spaghetti with sauce and some weird meat on his tray.
"Um… May I ask what this stuff is?" Cameron asked warily.
"Turkey buttolini, enjoy your na-meal." Chef said a bit sheepishly at the end, with a nervous chuckle as Cameron walked off, clearly confused.
We then cut back to the present as Cameron explains, "Turkey makes you sleepy so mutant turkey must knock you out cold."
"That explains the memory loss." Brick admitted before burping and sniffing it, "And why my breath smells like turkey."
Lightning is then seen snoring with a smile on his face, "Lightning wins the super bowl." He said proudly in his sleep before cheering silently.
"Lightning…" Mike began before Jo held him back, "I'll handle this."
"Wakey Wakey Muscle Mouth!" Jo smirked as he kicked Lightning into the water, causing him to wake up with a start as he floated in the water.
"Gah! Where did the cabin go? And where's my Super Bowl rings? Lightning asked in horror.
"You never wore Super Bowl rings." Mike pointed out.
"Oh… right." Lightning remembered, "Dream."
Scott soon looked around the water fearfully, "Great. Now we're gonna be some stupid shark's dinner."
To his surprise, Zoey patted his shoulder a bit in reassurance, "Hey, I'm sure we'll be fine. I doubt they'll find us in all of the junk around here." She gestured to the empty suitcases and the toxic waste barrels everywhere in the water.
"Uh… thanks." Scott said sheepishly.
Confessional: Scott
"Did someone outside my family just… reassure me?" Scott asked, baffled by that development, "Why do I not hate it?"
Confessional Ends
Mike soon reached into one of the suitcases and puts on a brown fedora, "Cool, a new hat."
He then gasped and suddenly turned into Manitoba who smirked at Jo, "G'day Sheila. Aren't you a strong one?" Jo raised an eyebrow at this which Cameron gasped at, and shouted, "Mike!"
The force of the shout caused Manitoba to swerve his head towards Cameron fast enough to make his hat fall off and turn him back to Mike with a gasp.
"Huh? Wha? You need something Cam?" Mike asked curiously.
Cameron then noticed all eyes were on him so he gulped and nervously spoke, "I… just wanted to make sure you don't go overboard with your impressions."
"Oh… thanks Cam." Mike smiled nervously before kicking his hat off the raft, but only Scott noticed this.
Confessional: Scott
"Now there's tension with Mike and Cameron. What is that porcupine haired doofus hiding?" Scott growled furiously.
Confessional: Cameron
"Mike and I are in an agreement. I help him stay Mike so he can win Zoey over and not get voted off by Jo and Lightning. I figured out all his triggers. Chester comes out when he's frustrated, Svetlana shows up when there's an acrobatically athletic challenge involved, and Vito comes out when Mike loses his shirt." Cameron explained before adding, "And as you probably saw, Manitoba comes out when Mike puts on some kind of fedora. I just don't know how to consistently bring Mike back, I'd say it'd be easier if I could dissect his brain, but that's just gross."
Confessional Ends
We then see Chris and Chef ride over in jet skis, "Hey there suckers. How'd you enjoy your turkey buttolini?"
"Hey Chris. How many times have you called your mommy today?" Dakota asked with a mocking smile before adding, "You know, I never knew tobasco was a thumb sucking detergent before I started interning for you. I also never knew you drank out of a sippy cu-" but soon Brick covered her mouth, "Okay, I think we can stop the antagonizing."
"Yeah, save it for after the challenge where we can laugh about it." Scott smirked snidely, earning him a disapproving look from Zoey.
"Today's challenge is about winning the ultimate reward. Life itself." Chris smiled enthusiastically, "Each team must race to the shore of the island before embarking on a quest for buried treasure. First place gets a reward but last place gets a heinous penalty."
"Ooh. Using us to uncover buried treasure now? Weak." Dakota rolled her eyes.
"There was a treasure, but I found it. How do you think I bought the island?" Chris smirked haughtily.
"Ah. A small treasure then. Good to know." Dakota taunted back.
"Ugh. Just start the challenge already." Chris said angrily before he and Chef backed up their jet skis so they could begin.
"Alright Lightning! Get rowing!" Jo said as she broke the Rat sign off the raft.
"Who made you the boss?" Lightning asked angrily.
"Hey. If you don't want to be captain of our rowing team…" Jo teased before Lightning brightened up, "Lightning is captain on every team. Let's do this."
Jo smirked before the scene cut to Brick trying to pull the sign off his team's boat, "We have to do what the Rats are doing."
Brick and Scott immediately used their combined strength to pull off the sign and soon Brick spoke up, "Alright. Three of us needs to go down there to push, so the other two can row from up here. I'll stay here, who else is rowing?"
"I'll stay up here." Dakota spoke up, "This top needs to stay dry, plus the wet look doesn't suit me."
"What? But Fang will totally eat m-" Scott began speaking before Dakota pushed him into the water, "You'll be fine. There are no sharks."
Zoey and Cameron soon join Scott in the water as they begin pushing the raft, "Fine. I'll push it." He grumbled in annoyance.
Soon Brick and Dakota began rowing, the latter using her arm, and soon Scott began complaining, "Stupid Dakota, making me do this crap."
"I'm sorry Scott. Even as Dakota's friend, that was irrational." Zoey said, sympathetic to his worries.
"If we lose, I am so voting her off. As always, she just seems to care about her looks." Scott said angrily.
"Well… maybe it's too early to make such a decision now, right?" Zoey asked with a nervous smile.
Scott sighed and relented, "Fair enough, I'll keep her in mind but not target her… yet."
Zoey smiled warmly at this, while Cameron just raised an eyebrow at him.
Confessional: Cameron
"I never really trusted Scott that much. He always seemed sketchy, even on the Rats team. Dawn's elimination was especially random. Now he's so eager to boot off Dakota. He's definitely a concern."
Confessional Ends
Meanwhile Jo and Mike were pushing their team's raft as Lightning rowed, "Double time dudes, they're gaining on us."
Suddenly he came face to face with a giant yellow eye, we then see that it belongs to a giant squid, who's tentacles began to surround the trio.
"Oh man, no one could outmatch that squid." Mike said in horror before suddenly gasping, "But Svetlana can turn that squid into calamari by noon!" Svetlana spoke in determination before leaping onto the squid's tentacle and jumping onto it's head.
"Hello from up zere." Svetlana smiled smugly before the squid tried to smack the gymnast but ended up smacking it's own face instead, leaving it dizzy and soon Svetlana flipped back onto the raft.
"Haha! Great job Svetlana." Jo smirked as she and Lightning went back to their positions of pushing and rowing respectively away from the giant squid.
Svetlana soon gasped, turning into Mike again, "Wait, what happened again?"
"Uh… you just totally schooled that squid." Lightning reminded Mike, "Don't you remember?"
"Oh sorry." Mike chuckled sheepishly, "It all happened so fast. Hehe."
Lightning seemed convinced but Jo gave Mike a secret glare, she was clearly not buying this.
Meanwhile the Maggots were heading towards the squid right now as Dakota looked scared, "Uh… that looks huge."
"Stay quiet. If we can get past the squid while it's still dizzy, we'll still have a chance." Cameron whispered to her.
Soon a shark fin floated behind Scott and soon Fang rose behind him and snorted, much to Scott's terror.
"Gah!" Scott screamed as he started running in circles around the raft much to Dakota's annoyance, "Oh for goodness sake would you stop yelling already?!"
"In his defense, it has been following him." Brick admitted as he cringed.
Soon Fang stood on top of the raft, cornering Brick, Dakota, and Scott, much to the former Rats' fear but Brick stood tall, "I will not be letting any of my squadron die on my watch! Take this!" He then swung the sign post on Fang's head, knocking the shark back in the water.
"Phew. That's a relief." Scott sighed happily, "Thanks."
"Sure thing. I couldn't let any of us be eaten." Brick smiled back at the Dirt Farmer.
"Uh, this is sweet and all but what are we going to do about that?" Dakota asked fearfully before gesturing to the giant squid now in front of them, which made Zoey and Cameron immediately climb on board.
"Aw man. We'll never make it to shore now." Cameron gulped before smiling in realization, "Wait! That's it!"
He then instructed his teammates, "Get as far back as you can. I have a plan."
"Cameron? What are you doing?" Brick asked warily.
"Hey ink stain, I doubt you could squish me even if you tried." Cameron smirked at the squid as he walked up to the front of the raft.
The squid immediately raised a tentacle much to the rest of the team's concern and they grew even more scared when they saw spikes pop out of it.
The scene paused to show Chris wearing a squid shaped hat as he spoke up, "Will Cameron's brain outsmart the squid's brawn, and what will become of Scott and Dakota? Find out on Total! Drama! Revenge Of The Island!"
(After commercial break)
We then cut back to the squid attempting to crush Cameron, only for the bubble boy to move to the back with his team, but the force of the tentacle punch, flung all five of the Maggots to the shore.
Brick smiled as he was the first to realize what was going on, "We made it! We won!"
"Yay…" Cameron weakly cheered before groaning.
Chris and Chef soon flew above the shore on a helicopter, "And because you won. You get these."
Chris soon dropped a compass and a map onto Zoey's hands, who was the first to get up.
"A treasure map and compass? Marvelous!" Cameron smiled enthusiastically.
"Look what just washed up?" Chris smirked as he pointed downwards to the Rats who just made it to shore.
"Aw man! We lost again?!" Lightning asked incredulously, "Man, I cannot break this losing streak we have."
"Now for the second challenge involved a practical joke involving classic competitor Gwen, but now it turned into a rescue mission." Chris explained before a screen popped up from the shore and showed close-up footage of Gwen waking up from a nap in a chest before she began to panic, "What the- Oh no, I'm buried alive?! Again?!" Gwen asked in fear before knocking on the chest, "CHRIS!"
"Burying someone alive is super dangerous." Mike said in an annoyed tone, "Even by your standards."
"Don't worry, we used the buddy system. Allow me to show you what I mean." Chris smirked before the monitor zoomed out to show Heather, now in a long ponytail, sleeping right next to her in the chest
"Heather too?!" Dakota asked incredulously, "Are you trying to kill them?!"
"Oh please." Chris scoffed, "Given they have a common friend/boyfriend in a certain plane destroyer, I think they'll at least argue a bunch."
"Is it sad that we have that as reassurance?" Scott asked with an unamused raised eyebrow.
"A little." Brick confirmed.
"Maggots! You got your compass and directions to the treasure, head north to find Gwen and Heather to win the challenge. Now go!" Chris told the five teammates before they ran off, Jo, Lightning, and Mike tried to follow but the helicopter stopped in front of them.
"Nope, not yet. To the losers go the penalty belt!" Chris smiled, "Chef, lock them in!"
We then see Jo, Mike, and Lightning were all chained to a metal belt, much to their discomfort.
"These must weigh a hundred pounds." Lightning complained miserably.
"A hundred and twenty actually." Chris corrected before placing a metal detector on the back of Lightning's shirt.
"A metal detector? How's that gonna help?" Mike asked curiously.
"I agree. We're looking for a wooden chest." Jo said in annoyance.
"I know. Now… go!" Chris pulled out a megaphone and shouted, "Go go go go go!" He yelled, causing the three cuffed contestants to run with a start.
We then cut to Gwen inside the chest, groaning in anger before sighing, "Might as well talk to someone."
She pinched Heather's arm, causing her to wake up and hit her head on the top of the chest.
"Ow!" Heather groaned.
"Sorry." Gwen cringed, "Had to wake you up."
"Did Chris seriously put us in a stupid chest?!" Heather asked furiously, "Is he insane?!"
Gwen's blank look gave her the answer and she sighed, "You're right. Stupid question."
Back at the island, the Maggots appeared to have come across a swamp as Brick held the map but the stench appeared to be unbearable to Zoey, Dakota, and Cameron.
Meanwhile Scott and Brick were unphased, heck Scott seemed to enjoy the smell, "Ah. Smells like home."
"Okay team. There's a path around the swamp, but it will take too long." Brick told his teammates.
"You mean… we have to go in there?" Dakota asked incredulously, "Gross. Can't we just run really fast around the swamp.
"Negative. The swamp is our only way through." Brick declined.
"A-Are we sure we can't just split up or…" Dakota began sheepishly before Scott interrupted, "We are going down that swamp, even if it means, I have to drag you in myself." He said furiously.
"Are you threatening me?" Dakota asked angrily.
"No! Just telling you to stop acting like such a drama queen so we can go across this stupid swamp!" Scott argued.
"Thanks for the tip dirt boy!" Jo taunted as she and her two male teammates began running past them and across the swamp.
"Good luck guys!" Mike called out more nicely than Jo did.
"Great! You just gave away our advantage!" Dakota rolled her eyes in annoyance.
"Me?! You're the one who wouldn't get in the swamp! And you wonder why we voted you off!" Scott argued, losing his patience.
"Cut it out you guys!" Zoey interrupted the argument calm but annoyed, "Scott, stop being vicious with Dakota and Dakota, Scott's right, you need to get in the swamp!"
Dakota sighed reluctantly before saying, "Fine."
"Whatever." Scott rolled his eyes with a sneer.
"Okay, now let's go." Zoey sighed with a smile before Brick led their team across the swamp.
We then cut to both teams traversing through the swamp at an even pace, Scott was further behind from the group along with Jo, while all the others were further ahead, with Brick in the front, and then Dakota, Zoey, Cameron, Lightning, and Mike were following him.
"Hey guys, now that we're alone, I have to tell you something." Cameron whispered to his teammates, "I really don't trust Scott. I find him really sketchy, and I feel strange things have been going on since B got eliminated like with the Anne Maria situation. I think he's a saboteur."
"Are you sure we can judge him so quickly?" Brick asked the bubble boy, "He hasn't been on our team that long, plus he usually seems to just be the pessimistic type to me."
"Yeah, plus I happen to know he has a heart. He even comforted Sam back in the mine challenge." Zoey added in Brick's defense.
"Sorry, I couldn't help but overhear you guys, but I kinda agree with Cameron. He kinda gives off a negative vibe." Mike admitted as he walked over to his former team.
"Same here. He's so rude. I never really liked him that much." Dakota said scornfully.
"Uh huh…" Zoey raised an eyebrow, clearly confused.
Confessional: Zoey
"I know that Scott can be brash but I know he has some humanity in him. I can see where Dakota is coming from to an extent but I'm not sure what to believe about Cameron and Mike, they've been acting strange lately."
Confessional Ends
Meanwhile Scott raised an eyebrow at the whole situation going on from in front of him, he couldn't see what it was, but given their whispers, it was likely something he wasn't supposed to hear. He soon turned to Jo.
"You know, Mike and bubble boy have been acting super weird lately." Scott told the Jockette.
"Thank you. Finally, someone else sees it." Jo smirked, relieved that someone understood her point of view.
"I wonder what it is that they're hiding though, he makes it so hard to figure out with those impressions of his." Scott admitted with a suspicious gaze at Mike and Cameron.
"Hmmm, maybe those stupid impressions are part of it…" Jo whispered to herself.
Suddenly Brick felt something beneath his feet but then a large alligator rose up, pushing him aside, the creature had tentacles for claws, no less.
It lunged at the eight contestants who all backed up, before the alligator lunged at them, but they all ran away in time.
The Rats were seen running a good margin ahead of the Maggots when Jo spotted a big bush in the distance.
"Rats! Head for that bush!" Jo cried out in a commanding tone, leading the chained group to jump inside said bush, front of a tree.
Meanwhile the Maggots were still being chased by the alligator when Cameron pointed to a large tree, "A tree! We can hide in there for the time being!"
We then see Brick carry both Dakota and Cameron as he jumps onto the highest branch on the right while Zoey uses the vine on the tree to get up to the highest branch on the left quickly.
Scott decided to just climb the tree the old fashioned way, but when he reached the branch below Zoey, his left leg was grabbed by the giant alligator.
He screamed, and closed his eyes preparing for the end but to his surprise, Zoey had started pulling on his arm to keep him from being eaten, however she was slowly being pulled back with him.
Mike was horrified at seeing this occur but soon he found a big rock, not big enough to stick to the ground, but big enough to help him.
He then picked up said rock, and dropped it, before kicking it high enough to hit the back of the gator's head. It immediately let go of Scott and roared, but since the Rats were in the bush, it dove off to find where the rock came from.
It allowed Scott and Zoey to jump down and catch their breath.
"Why'd you do that?" Scott asked in shock, "You could have died trying to save me."
"It's what teammates and friends do." Zoey smiled as she caught her breath.
"Well… thanks." Scott looked away sheepishly.
"Uh guys… I have good news and bad news." Brick said meekly, "The good news is we're almost at the clearing."
"What's the bad?" Scott gulped.
"We have to go through a thorn bush." Brick explained as he pointed to the bush.
"Oh great! More thorns to go through." Jo rolled her eyes as she arrived with Mike and Lightning.
"Ah. So you left us behind again?" Dakota asked angrily, "Why am I not surprised?" She rolls her eyes.
"Actually, Mike's the one who kicked that rock to save your lives!" Lightning told the opposing team.
"Wait seriously?" Zoey asked in shock.
"I couldn't let you die! It didn't seem fair." Mike said with a soft gaze which Zoey returned with a smile.
"So… how are we gonna get through this thorn bush?" Scott asked curiously.
"Like this!" Lightning smirked before rushing in the thorn bush with his eyes closed, "SHAAAAAAAA"
We then see the rest of the seven contestants cringing and groaning as they watched Lightning clear the thorn bush offscreen, screaming in pain the whole way.
Soon we see that the thorn bush was indeed clear as the rest of the contestants except Mike went through it and made it to the clearing, while an unconscious Lightning was covered in thorns.
"This clearing looks just like the one on the map!" Brick said happily.
Soon Mike went through the thorn bush but unfortunately a stray branch caught his shirt and as he was running, it was ripped right off, turning him to Vito.
"Woo! Vito's here baby! Yeah!" Vito shouted joyously.
"Mike?" Zoey asked, a bit confused.
"Uh, I think you misunderstand. My name is Vito." Vito said rudely before Jo pulled his wrist to have him nearby, "Shut up already Vito. We gotta dig up our treasure."
"Ey, no one talks to the Vito like that." He said threateningly much to Jo's anger.
Cameron just looked on in fear, which caused Jo to raise a bit of a confused eyebrow.
"I heard footsteps! Someone help us already!" Heather shouted furiously from below.
Dakota smiled as she headed a bit to the right, "Over here! I think I hear them!"
"Awesome!" Zoey smiled as she went over to Dakota to help her dig up the chest along with Scott, Brick, and Cameron.
Soon Vito heard a little beeping noise, "Ey yo, what's that metal thing doing?" He pointed to the metal detector on the unconscious Lightning, it was beeping near a small rock, which Jo noticed and kicked aside to reveal keys.
"Keys! The small one must be for the cuffs." Jo said happily, making Vito smirk.
After a while, Vito and Jo were free from the penalty belts and Jo soon acknowledged the bigger key on the chain, "This one's old. Like a treasure chest." She smiled.
We then hear Gwen's scream next, "Get me out of here!"
"You mean get us out of here!" Heather protested below.
"Oh let me freak out will you?!" Gwen said angrily.
"Found them." Jo singsonged to Vito.
"How deep did Chris bury these two? It's amazing he still roams free." Scott said angrily.
Meanwhile Vito was digging with his bare hands and Jo using the metal detector to dig when they finally reached the wood of the chest.
"Found them!" Jo said happily.
"And the Rats win!" Chris yelled from inside the flying helicopter in the distance.
"What?!" Scott asked incredulously before glaring at Dakota, "Thought you heard them over here, huh?"
"Do you ever shut up?!" Dakota asked furiously as the two glared at each other.
Soon Vito broke the wood of the treasure chest, allowing Gwen and Heather to climb out, and Gwen to sigh in relief, "Finally. Thank you so much! Being trapped underground with Heather was a nightmare."
"Yeah, well it certainly wasn't a picnic dealing with you either." Heather glared at her rival.
Vito smirked and flaunted his pecs. "Hey, anytime. The Vito's always happy to help two girls like you out." He winked flirtatiously causing Gwen to gag while Heather just huffed and walked off.
Zoey just narrowed her eyes at who she thought was Mike.
Confessional: Zoey
"I honestly can't believe Mike sometimes. One minute he's sweet, and the next he's acting like a diet Justin." Zoey said bitterly before realizing how insulting it sounded, "Uh… no offense Justin. I meant that in a good way for you."
Confessional Ends
We then cut to the nighttime where Jo had spotted Cameron sitting on the cabin steps, clearly stressed, she smirked and walked over to the bubble boy.
"Hey there bubbles. Mike told me that he's really grateful that you're helping him with his problem." Jo smirked as she walked near him.
"Problem?" Cameron gulped before looking around, "He told you about his Multiple Personality Disorder?"
"No actually." Jo answered with a devious grin, unnerving Cameron.
"But you just did." Jo's grin for darker as she walked off cackling, "Thanks for the tip Cameron. I knew you had some use to me."
Cameron's mouth was agape, Jo just played him like a fool…
And he fell for it.
Confessional: Cameron
"What have I done?" Cameron peeped.
Confessional Ends
Meanwhile Scott had gathered Brick and Zoey for a meeting, "Okay guys. Like I said to my old team, Dakota has to go. She's only proved she's in this for the screentime. She doesn't want to even try to earn the money. All she's doing is holding us back."
"I hate to say you're right, so I won't. I'll still vote for Dakota however." Brick sighed sadly.
"What about you Zoey?" Scott asked, turning to the red head.
"I haven't decided yet." Zoey gulped, "Dakota's one of my friends after all."
"Is there anyone else you can see being worthy of elimination? Cameron's not strong but he helped us out today, and me and Brick did nothing wrong today." Scott spoke with a harsh tone, causing Zoey to whimper a bit, seeing this. Scott's eyes widened in shock, did Zoey… fear him?
"I'm sorry," Scott uttered shakily before keeping his tone level, "I understand your reluctance but we're doing her a favor here. She's only gonna suffer more if she sticks around. She clearly can't handle being here."
Scott soon walked off, for once not having a hardened gaze or a smug smirk, but a concerned glance.
"That felt so intense." Zoey told Brick.
"The game is nearing it's end. I don't blame Scott for feeling nervous about his chances." Brock reassured the red head.
We then cut to the elimination ceremony, Cameron and Brick were on the left, and Scott and Dakota sat in between Zoey.
"Okay people. I tallied the votes tonight." Chris smiled as he held out the ballots, "Let's read them out."
"Wait. What about the marshmallows for those who are staying?" Brick asked.
"Lightning are them all in the infirmary." Chris sighed before reading the votes, "One vote for Scott."
Scott rolled his eyes, knowing who it was from.
"One for Dakota."
Dakota also looked bored, knowing who that vote belonged to.
"Another vote for Scott."
Scott's gaze only hardened more, he saw that coming.
"Another for Dakota."
Dakota's eyes widened, she was not expecting this.
"And the final vote goes to…" Chris dragged out the tension as we see Scott's determined look, Dakota's nervous look, and Zoey's remorseful glance.
"Dakota."
"What?! Me!" Dakota cried out in shock.
Scott wiped his brow with relief and sighed in content.
"I'm sorry Dakota. I could not justify keeping you in the game over Scott." Brick apologized remorsefully.
Zoey also looked remorseful as she apologized as well with some tears in her eyes, "I'm sorry. I had no idea who to pick. I voted you off because you were starting to suffer in this environment and I didn't want you hurt."
Dakota's shock wore off and she sighed sadly, "I guess I only did come here for the fame. This show is a lot of work, and I'm honestly surprised so many people can push through it. Me? I wouldn't say I'm weak but I'm probably a bit more sensitive than I realize. I don't regret coming here though, I did gain some genuine respect." She smiled at Zoey, "Don't worry, I'm not mad. I wanted to see Sam again anyway."
Zoey smiled back at Dakota silently as Chris fake yawned, "Dakota. You have an appointment at the Hurl Of Shame."
"Yeah yeah. Let's go." Dakota groaned as she walked down the dock.
We then cut to later in the night, Jo is seen alone on the stairs of the girls' cabin, she looks at a distance and sees Mike waving to Zoey, who waved back awkwardly before he walked up to the cabin.
"Night Jo." Mike smiled sheepishly at Jo who silently waved him good night as well.
Soon Lightning showed up with some bandages on his arms, and a head cast but nothing too major, "Man. Those thorns were sharp. Lightning couldn't believe how strong they were."
He then noticed Jo's relaxed and pleased look and looked a bit confused, "How's it going dude?"
"Oh just fine Jockstrap. Just fine." Jo smirked with narrowed eyes as the episode fades to black.
Author's Note: Figured it'd be fitting to close off the Halloween episode with a bit of drama at the end, it's not horror but it's equally effective at making people unnerved or worried about the outcome.
Alright, lots to unload here. First off, Dakota. I'm glad I did not mutate her, she deserved to have a happy ending where she is still human. I had Zoey vote her off which will likely annoy some people but I had it be done for an understandable reason, I found her canon reasoning good too, but this way it's less sad. I didn't show her getting hurled because it felt pointless. We already saw her be eliminated that way, no need to show it again.
And now for the antagonist status, I think you've noticed how I've been writing Jo and Scott recently, that was intentional. Jo seems a lot more cruel and hardcore than Scott, who's lovable, comedic, and snarky(Jo is too, but like I said, she feels more hardcore). He's a good villain but that's predictable for this story. Jo's our antagonist now, Scott's more of a secondary antagonist at this point, effective but not as threatening.
