Later at school, Arnold and Gerald were walking to one of their classes. Arnold was telling Gerald about what he discussed earlier.

"And you said you weren't interested in her, mm?" Gerald teased. "Ok ok, I admit it. I may have said that, but, maybe me and her can make it work! I mean, after all, it never hurts to try, no?"

"You got a good point there, I'll give you that." Gerald replied. The two soon reached Arnold's locker. "I'll meet you in class?" Gerald asked. "Yeah. Just give me a minute here."

Gerald nodded as he headed for Mr. Simmons' class.

While Arnold was putting away his stuff in his locker, he felt someone poking his shoulder. He then turned around to see…

"AH!" A smirking Rhonda Lloyd. "Hope I didn't scare you too bad… I couldn't help but see you were talking with Gerald. And don't mind my curiosity but, any chance you were telling him about our little date tonight, mm?" Rhonda soon leaned in close to Arnold, making him blush furiously.

Arnold pulled on his collar as he stumbled over his words. "Well….I uh- You see-" Rhonda then put a finger on his lips, silencing him. "Arnold, you don't have to get all nervous on me. If it makes you feel any better, I already told my best friend Nadine about our date."

"Wait, so you're not mad at me?" Arnold looked at her confused. Rhonda slightly giggled. "Oh of course not! Well, as long as you don't go blabbing it around, I'm not mad." She then smiled. "Now how about we get to class now…" Rhonda leaned in close to Arnold where their noses just about touched. "Handsome." She winked after, Arnold blushed furiously as he had a goofy smile.

Before Rhonda started to walk to class, she blew a kiss to Arnold as she winked, which really made his cheek red.

Later in class, Mr. Simmons had a special announcement. "Alright, class! Here's what I have planned for these next few days. I'm gonna want you guys to pair up with somebody for this new geography project! Create your own atlas! Once you are paired up, I'll soon explain what this project will be about."

The class then started pairing up with a partner, Arnold looked over to Gerald, but he already saw him with Phoebe. "Huh, well that was fast." Arnold looked around to see who he could pair up with.

Rhonda saw that Nadine had already paired up with Sheena. "Great… Who am I gonna pair up with?"

Then, Arnold and Rhonda's eyes met and the two blushed at each other. Arnold smiled as he went to sit next to her. Arnold sat next to her as she was playing with her hair cutely.

"Well, it looks like I won't be needing to wait until our date for us to be together, mm?" Rhonda playfully had a finger on his cheek. Arnold only blushed as he smiled at her.

"Everybody's paired? Alright, great! So, this Atlas project will be about you guys choosing the country of your choice, and researching their culture like the music, the food, language, etc. Does that sound good?" The class nodded and some of them said yes. "Alright, perfect! You will have about a week to do this project." Mr. Simmons then went to sit down at his desk.

"Welp, uh… Geography isn't really my strong point… um…" Rhonda started. "Oh don't worry about that Rhonda, I'm here to help you." Arnold gave a comforting smile. She couldn't help but smile back.

Later

It was around ten minutes before recess, the class was discussing and chatting away as they did their projects, Arnold and Rhonda were still discussing their date and future plans.

"So, any plans on what we could possibly do tomorrow?" Arnold asked. "Well actually, there was this one movie I've been wanting to see for a while now but I never went to see it since I had no one to watch it…" She hung her head a little. She then gave a small smirk. "But since we're gonna be hanging out together now, I figured I should ask you whether you wanna watch that movie with me."

"Oh, who am I to turn down that offer? Of course!" Arnold smiled. She couldn't help but smile at Arnold's generosity. "Arnold, I don't know if I mentioned this before but, you're such a generous and caring person!" She then proceeded to hug Arnold.

Helga in the meanwhile was infuriated by what she saw.

"Hey Rhonda, now that recess is gonna start soon, mind telling me about your dream?" Rhonda then blushed. "Oh, you still remember? Quite surprised to be honest, but I'll still tell you how it went."

Soon, the bell rang for recess. Most of the kids stormed out, except one.

"Little Miss Rhondaloid thinks she can steal Arnold away from me? ME?! Oh, we'll see how long you two can stay together." She proceeded to cackle.

Outside, Arnold and Rhonda were sitting together as she was telling Arnold all about her dream.

"At first, I was slightly skeptical about us being married, I'll be honest, but I quickly adjusted to that idea since I do find it rather cute." Rhonda slightly giggled. "But quick sidenote, Arnold, do you like that idea? You know… us being together?"

"Well, I can't say for certain yet… but I think maybe it would soon be worth a shot." Arnold then leaned in close. "I'm also curious to see how well we really work together."

Rhonda giggled as she played with her hair and slightly stuck her tongue out. "In truth Arnold, I'm also curious to see how great we really are together." Rhonda leaned close to Arnold.

Arnold put his hand on top of her hand, making her giggle once more. She then put her hand on top of his, and the two smirked at each other.

Arnold cleared his throat. "Rhonda, you're yet to tell me about your actual dream." She then remembered. "Oh, right! So anyways, unlike your dream, mine was a little more on the romantic side." She nervously laughed. "Now, of course, I was in the prettiest dress you'd ever seen, we had a beautiful mansion together, and not to mention, we kissed a lot more in my dream." Rhonda then blushed as she heard what she said.

"Did I… say that out loud?" She looked over to a blushing Arnold. "Well, go on." Arnold soon said.

"Well, as I was saying, we obviously had a big wedding, all our friends and family were there, and after that, we treated each other as king and queen. We mainly spent time together, of course, we hung out with our friends, but we were mainly spending time together."

Arnold was rather surprised. "Wow, well here's one thing in common we both had in our dreams, we were mainly together." Arnold didn't want to reveal that she was basically flaunting him around until the near end.

"Oh? Well, I'm quite flattered actually, guess you could also say-"

"Curious?"

"I'm sorry?"

"Curious. In terms of, how would it be if we really were together." Arnold finished. Rhonda blushed as she slightly played with her hair. "Ouu, I didn't know you were THAT curious… But I suppose it never hurts to try, mm?" She smirked as she leaned in close. Arnold only smirked back as he put a hand over hers.

Arnold was feeling a way he's never felt before. Was he… falling in love? As for Rhonda, she felt like she was getting closer and closer with Arnold, more than ever. She was feeling a way she had never felt before. She felt like… she was really falling in love with Arnold.
