Summary: Freaky Friday with a Twilight Twist. New Moon AU.
As much as Bella and Edward love each other, they can't possibly understand what the other's life is like.
On Bella's 18th birthday, instead of a paper cut, a switch is about to make Forks even weirder.
How will Bella cope with suddenly being a 104-year-old mind-reading vampire in love with her singer? And how will Edward cope with being a human in love with a vampire?

Chapter 75
"How do I look?" Bella asked Alice and held out her arms. "And be honest. Does it look authentic?"
Alice grinned from her reclining spot on her king-sized bed. "Esme sewed this herself, so yes, I'd say it's authentic."
Bella looked at the foreign reflection of herself in the mirror again, especially at the illusion of the tiniest waist she'd ever seen on herself created by the fullness of the skirt and bodice. "You know, I thought wearing a corset would be much more uncomfortable." She looked at Alice over her shoulder. "But I don't hate it."
"Clearly I don't remember what it felt like wearing it as a human, but I can only imagine." She dangled Bella's modern bra on her index finger. "These things look like they actually hurt."
"They do," Bella said and snatched the undergarment from Alice to stuff it in her huge overnight bag where the rest of her modern clothes were. As she straightened back up, she grimaced when her insecurity crept back in. "Do you think he'll actually like it? It was just this idea that popped into my head just before we switched back."
With grace that no human could ever imitate, Alice got up from the bed, placed her hands on Bella's upper arms and turned her back to her reflection in the mirror. "I'm not just saying this because I already know what he'll think, I'm also saying it because I know my brother. The fact that you're willing to go to such lengths to make his fantasy come true is so sweet, and even just catching a simple glimpse of what your lives together could have looked like in a normal world will mean more to him than you could even imagine."
Bella smiled, pleased she'd been successful in planning the surprise and that Edward remained non-the-wiser about it. The backyard was set up beautifully thanks to Alice, and Esme was the one who'd created the stunning ensemble Bella was wearing. Once Bella went outside, anyone could be fooled to believe they'd stepped back in time.
Back to 1917 to be exact. She'd actively chosen to avoid the year of Edward's human death because she wanted to give him an experience where he could pretend what life would have been like before the pandemic changed it forever.
She sat down on the restored antique garden furniture, parasol supported on her shoulder and protecting her from the afternoon sun, and waited for Edward to return home.
A/N:
Maybe I haven't read the right fics, in that case, I need recommendations, but I've never read a Bella who arranges a surprise for Edward similar to this unless it's their wedding. I mean, why can't it happen on a regular Tuesday?
Also, the corset tidbit is my own ;-) Corsets, in my opinion, provides much more comfortable support for your back, your neck, and the two front ladies. It's more evenly distributed over your whole torso instead of just one small band holding it all together for dear life. The myth that you can't breathe is bullshit, unless you tightlace, and if you do that, you only have yourself to blame. They're not oppressive or sexist, and I did learn from a clothing historian that the corset, or rather its ancestor, the pair of stays/bodice was actually designed by a woman, while the modern bra was designed by a man.
You'll get Edward's reaction in the next chapter tomorrow :)
Stay Awesome!
