Trying to hide what may or may not have happened earlier that morning, Optimus, Jetfire and Lancex entered the rec room, all three badly needing their morning energon. Optimus grabbed his cube before also grabbing an energon cube for Lancex while Jetfire grabbed his own cube and the three headed for a distance table. As the three were conversing, they had no idea that two new bots had entered the area.

For a short time after the trio arrived and found a semi-private table, Scavenger once again entered the rec room but this time he was not alone. He came in with the friend he had commed to come and help – Blurr. Scavenger and Blurr were relieved to see the trio there, as they hoped to talk. The pair headed over to speak to Optimus, Jetfire, and Lancex. "May we join you?" Blurr asked politely as the pair approached the trio.

"Certainly, the table is not full nor is it reserved" Lancex replied, much to the chagrin of Optimus and Jetfire, though since Optimus had a battle mask, he had an easier time hiding his displeasure with this arrangement.

"I hear you are new. Do you have any family?" Blurr asked, unaware that Optimus and Jetfire, while annoyed at the two for joining the table, were curious as well.

"Well, my father died long ago. I have a bot who adopted me after my father died. Turns out he was my father's brother, a bot named Dirt Boss" Lancex revealed, shocking all the bots there. Optimus was particularly stunned as that was the bot who had given the Prime the book about submissive mages. Optimus was curious as to why and now things seemed to make more sense.

And while Lancex, Blurr, and Scavenger continued to talk about things, Optimus and Jetfire wondered if before they tried to bond with Lancex that they should receive the blessing to do so from Dirt Boss. And if they needed to do so, how in the world would they get back to that universe to ask the bot. So many questions with few to no answers, and neither Optimus nor Jetfire liked feeling that way. They hoped a solution would soon resent itself, but until then, they felt like they were stuck and unable to pursue their crush any further until they spoke with Dirt Boss. They weren't sure of what to do, but hoped that someone would come along and guide them. Maybe, just maybe, someone would.
