Hello there everyone! I've got the next chapter here you guys, and I hope you enjoy it. I don't have much else to say ahead of this one, just that there is an M-Rated scene to start off this chapter, so you all know.

But aside from that, thank you all for reading. I appreciate it so much, and I can't wait to hear what you think!

ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY

"Fuck, Matt…" Gabby whined out as he thrust up from his spot on the bed beneath her, her palms resting against his chest while her legs straddled him, the position helping keep her balanced as she rode him. And Matt was doing all he could to help too, at least in his own way, as one of his hands was holding onto her chest for support, while the other worked that sensitive spot between her legs, his methodic movements pushing Gabby closer and closer to falling over that cliff.

The same one he had sent her over multiple times since they woke up this morning, Gabby completely overwhelmed by what all was happening. But that didn't mean she wanted him to stop, as she was more than ready to let him continue everything he was doing until her body gave out. Which, admittedly, might not take too much longer.

"Matt-" She cried after one particularly deep thrust, his grip on her breast tightening while he continued to reach that delicate spot inside her. "I'm gonna… I'm-" She couldn't form a coherent thought, her head snapping back as she could feel herself losing control.

"Come for me, baby." Matt encouraged between thrusts, those words like a drug to her as before her mind could even register what he'd said, she let go, Gabby powerless to her own body. And she didn't care one bit. "That's it.. Yeah, that's it." He spoke, never slowing down his movements as she came around him, the speed of his hips causing her head to go blank as she couldn't register anything other than the unimaginable pleasure coursing through her system, that high she'd been chasing seeming to grip onto her and refuse to let go. To the point where she eventually collapsed down against his chest, unable to keep herself up any longer.

But that didn't deter him, Matt wrapping an arm around her back to steady her while he kept on with his deep, meaningful thrusts, his pace erratic as he himself was nearing that edge of no return.

"Fuck, Gabby-" He cursed out while she continusouly tightened around him, Matt recognizing how her body never fully came down from her release. That wave after wave of pleasure was crashing through her, Matt seconds away from pulling yet another orgasm from her as he continued pumping into her, the man wanting to help his wife hit that ceiling one last time.

With a newfound fire reignited him in, before Gabby could even register what was happening he had her flipped onto her back, the warm sheets beneath them pressed into her bare skin as Matt hovered over her. He had her legs spread as wide as they'd go, his body nestled in between them as he thrusted in and out her without pause, the angle dragging him in deeper while their bed frame continuously shook under the force of his movements.

"God- Matt!" She shouted out, feeling nothing but him as she gripped the fitted sheet beneath her, Gabby writhing around underneath him just before that coil inside her snapped.

It hit her like a train, Gabby not even sure of what number this was as she let out a pleasure-filled shriek, Matt making sure she got all she could out of this as her back arched up off the mattress. Like she was unable to control her own movements, Casey's weight keeping her secure enough as the feeling of her coming undone around him was moving him closer to his own release.

He held out as long as he could, but eventually she became too much for him to withstand, Matt pressing his hips flush against hers before filling her completely and giving her everything he had. And she took it willingly, Gabby gripping onto any part of his body that she could in an effort to keep him close, as they both were feeling this intense need for one another. A desperation that hadn't gone away even after their morning spent in this bed, Casey thrusting into her one last time before he collapsed down on top of her, unable to keep himself up.

They were both completely spent, chests heaving as Matt's mouth pressed lazy kisses to her neck and collarbone while there was nothing but a layer of sweat between them, the couple fighting to catch their breath. The two stayed connected for a few lingering seconds, but when she continued tightening around him during the aftershocks of her orgasm he was too sensitive to handle it, Gabby letting out a soft whine when he pulled out of her before falling down onto the bed beside her.

Neither of them said anything at first, Matt keeping a hand on her at all times as he was still just desperate to be near her, while an intense shiver went through Gabby's spine. One that prompted her to reach down in an attempt to find the covers, as despite how hot her skin felt at the moment, the chill in the air was too much for her tender body, her palm now blindly feeling around for any of their familiar covers.

But when she couldn't find them, it was then she vaguely remembered how earlier in their morning together Matt had thrown the comforter and sheets off the bed onto the floor, the covers seemingly in his way when he had pulled her up onto her hands and knees in the middle of their mattress, before kneeling on the bed and taking her from behind.

Her body flushed at the memory, Gabby trying to steady her breathing as she still felt a little on edge. But in the best way possible, her eyes closed while she attempted to regain any part of herself that she could.

"Baby…" He eventually murmured, what could've been minutes, or even hours, later, as Gabby had no concept of time right now. "You still in there?"

She could hear the light and teasing tone in his voice, Gabby smiling softly at his words before she slowly opened her eyes, turning her head to find him already watching her.

"There you are." He murmured, Gabby seeing nothing but complete and utter adoration for her shining in his gaze.

"Yeah, I'm still here… Barely." She played along, hearing him chuckle from deep within his chest before he leaned forward to press a kiss to the side of her arm. "I'm not sure what got into you, but you seemed very… energized this morning." She continued on, Matt shrugging as he placed another gentle kiss to her skin, before he moved up to rest his weight on his elbow.

"I was… This was our last time in this bed, in this apartment. I wanted it to be special." He told her, seeing the knowing gleam that appeared in her eyes before she nodded.

"Well, it was." She said after letting out another breath. "It was more than special. Not to inflate your ego or anything, but I don't think I can feel my legs." She added in between breaths.

A proud smirk appeared over his face, Matt glancing down to see the muscles in her thighs still trembling before he moved his hand down to rest over her shaking legs. "Believe me, babe. You don't have to say anything to inflate my ego… It was more like you screamed it." He teased her, Gabby's neck getting hot as he gave her thigh a soft squeeze. "And don't worry, your legs are still there." He finished proudly, Gabby shaking her head while she lightly pushed against his arm. Though not enough to move him, and she didn't want him to.

"Jackass." She muttered underneath her breath, feeling him laugh before he moved to press a hard, yet loving kiss to her lips. One she would've reciprocated more if she had the energy, but neither of them seemed to mind as his hand moved up to rest over her stomach, before sliding around to her side in an effort to keep her close.

They stayed connected for a few seconds, the warmth between them comforting as Gabby finally found the ability to bring her hand up to grip onto his neck, feeling him smile against her before they eventually pulled away. That goofy grin was on his lips when her eyes opened, the look covering his face causing her to smile as well while he turned his head to place a quick kiss against her wrist.

"You know I'm only messing with you, baby. But really, are you alright?" He asked her, his large palm still moving gently over her skin as he could feel her breaths underneath his touch.

The immediate shift in his demeanor was enough to make her smile, as it was just yet another example of no matter how intense or rough things got in the moment, he was always there to make sure she was okay. He had been from the moment they met. And that alone was enough to make her feel so incredibly grateful for the man she had given herself to; this gentle, loving man who cared about her and her wellbeing more than anything else. Who had her complete trust, who would never in a million years hurt her, or even want to do something that might make her uncomfortable. That's who her husband was, and moments like this only continued to prove that.

"I'm good, babe." She assured him a moment later, seeing his features soften before he smiled. "I might be walking a little funny for the next few hours, but I'm okay." She added on jokingly, Matt himself letting out another chuckle before he leaned back down to press a much more chaste kiss to her upper chest.

"Well, that just means I did my job right." He played along, causing her to laugh as well before she guided him back up to her for a kiss. One that was far too fleeting for either of their liking, as only seconds into their movements the alarm clock went off.

A deep groan came from Casey's chest, the man pressing one last kiss to her lips before he pulled back, Matt reaching across her body towards the nightstand to silent his phone.

"I guess we should probably get up soon." He spoke somewhat regretfully, as neither of them were quite ready to get out of this bed. Because once they did, they knew this bubble they were in would be broken. "Everyone will be here in a bit, and knowing your parents they'll want to get here early." He added on lightly, Gabby laughing in response as she knew just how true that was.

"Hey, they're your parents too." She defended, Matt grinning from ear to ear before he gave her body a soft squeeze.

"Yes they are." He agreed, as she ran her fingers through his short hair. "But since it's the big moving day, I can't even blame them for being excited. I think we're all excited."

Those words made the smile on her face widen, as even in the heat of their morning together there was no way she could forget what today was. How, as Matt had said, this would be the last time they'd sleep in this room together, that there would be no more mornings like this here in this apartment, they wouldn't even be living in this apartment. Because as of yesterday, they finally had their new home.

It had been a little over a month since the seller accepted their offer, and after going through an inspection and getting all the money and paperwork in order, yesterday afternoon they officially closed on the property, making the home theirs. All of the previous owner's belongings were long gone, the keys had been handed over, making Matt and Gabby the new homeowners.

And it was one of the best moments they had experienced in their short marriage. To know their lives were moving forward together, to now have the house they'd dreamed of, it was an indescribable feeling. Especially now that all they had left was to get their belongings moved.

"Part of it still doesn't feel real." Gabby spoke a few moments later, regaining Matt's attention as their eyes locked on one another, the gentle smile on her face nearly making him fall deeper in love with her. "I can't wait to be there, living with you. Hell, I can't wait to just see it." She continued on, causing Matt to laugh as he was feeling the same way.

Though they signed off on the home yesterday, they hadn't gotten the chance to go back there yet since it became theirs. Not when Ramon and Camila insisted on taking them out to celebrate last night, along with Nancy and Antonio. They wanted to commemorate the occasion, so the family had all gone out and had an incredible time together, everyone more than thrilled for this step in their lives. But because of that, they didn't really have time to go and see their new home, and now they couldn't wait to, as both Matt and Gabby knew how special of a moment that would be.

"Soon.. We'll be there soon." He reminded her, Gabby nodding knowingly as she focused on the warmth of his hand moving over her skin. "For now, I think we should get ready to pack the rest of our things up." He spoke, earning another nod from her as his eyes flickered towards the clock. "...We said we'd meet at ten, right?"

"Mhmm." She hummed back in response, before a sly grin started to spread over his lips. "Oh, I don't like that look." She said playfully, Matt letting out a soft laugh while his hand started moving back towards her thigh.

"I think you're gonna love this look." He countered, Gabby raising her eyebrows. But before she could reply, she felt his hand begin to trace small patterns over the skin on her leg, before his fingers trailed to the inside of her thigh. Her legs parted instinctively as he got closer and closer to her center, Gabby's breaths becoming shorter while his eyes never left hers, the feeling of his fingertips teasing her skin driving her crazy. "We have a little while before anyone gets here, so what do you say about us making good use of our shower one last time?"

Gabby bit down on her lip, trying desperately to think rationally as she knew they'd be pushing it if they showered together. But when his finger brushed over her entrance, before slowly moving inside her, she was finding it harder and harder to care as a soft whimper left the back of her throat.

"Is that a yes?" He asked, his slow movements reigniting that fire in the pit of her stomach as even though Gabby was beyond exhausted, she found herself wanting him. Needing him. But she was trying to keep it together.

"I don't know if we have time, baby." She breathed out, fighting to keep her voice even while his hand continued its rhythmic, slow movements. "Cause the last thing we need is for anyone- especially Shay, to catch us in the shower. Again." She reasoned, Matt biting back a smile.

"That was one time." He defended, Gabby matching his look for a moment. "And she didn't so much catch us as she did hear us."

"I'm not sure that's any better." Gabby replied, Matt blowing out a heavy breath before shaking his head. "And besides, I-"

He cut her off by adding another finger, Gabby's voice catching in her throat as he pushed her legs further apart, quickening his pace every so slightly while her back began to arch off the bed. Which gave him the perfect access to lean his neck down and take her breast into his mouth, his tongue moving around her painfully hard nipple as he continued teasing her. To the point where she couldn't focus on anything other than him.

"Baby, I don't really want to keep talking about Shay right now." He spoke after releasing her from his mouth, his tongue poking out from his lips to keep moving expertely over her nipple while Gabby forced herself to look down at him. And given the position they were in, with his mouth on her and his fingers inside her, she understood his point.

Moments later once he swiped his thumb over her sensitive bundle of nerves, their friends were now the farthest thing from her mind as her head snapped back onto the pillow, Matt able to easily feel her desire for him as he used that to guide a third finger into her. From experience, he knew that was about all she could take. At least right now, Matt never slowing his pace while his teeth grazed over her breast, lightly biting down with just the right amount of pressure he knew she loved.

"So…" He started a few seconds later, just after another rush of wetness covered his skin. "You want to take that shower now?"

Gabby was nodding before he even finished his sentence, Matt laughing softly in response as he pumped his hand a few more times before withdrawing from her body, leaving Dawson with a sudden emptiness that she hated. But given his plans, she knew it wouldn't stay that way for long.

"We just… have to be quick." She reminded him through her unsteady breaths, Matt grinning easily as he trailed his fingertips over her thigh.

"I can do that." He responded, kissing her chest one last time before he climbed up from the bed, Gabby missing his warmth instantly. But once she saw him standing there in all his glory, clearly wanting her, she wasn't focused on that anymore as her eyes trailed up and down his incredible body. Her gaze lingering on one specific place for maybe a little too long, though Matt would never mind her stares.

"You coming?" He asked her, turning towards her to give off a better view as he watched his wife take in another sharp breath.

"Yes… But I wasn't kidding, I don't know if I can move."

He smirked proudly, letting out an amused laugh before he stepped back towards their bed. "I can take care of that." He responded without missing a beat, Matt soon picking her up with ease and resting her weight over his shoulder, loud laughs coming from Gabby as he carried her to the bathroom, where they were both more than ready to enjoy their shower together for one last time.

Gabby was standing at the counter in the kitchen with her mom as they worked on packing up their dinnerware, the entire apartment buzzing around them while the rest of her friends and family were moving through the home, trying to get as much done as possible.

Everyone had been here for a few hours now, and though the apartment looked like a complete warzone, with all the boxes and stacks of things needing to be packed, they were making a lot of progress. Gabby and Matt had done their part in packing up a bunch of odds and ends over the past few weeks, but there was still a lot to be done. And thankfully, they had an amazing group of people here with them to help get everything together.

Casey, Ramon, and Antonio were currently in the master bedroom working on getting the bed frame apart, after they'd taken some of the bigger pieces of furniture out to the truck, while Shay and Severide were tasked with moving the smaller bits of furniture from the different rooms, and getting it all stacked together in the dining room where it could be packed once all the sturdier furniture was put in place. Then as that was going on, Nancy was graciously moving behind everyone to pick up little things that had gotten missed, making sure nothing was left behind while they worked to get this apartment packed up.

"Hey Gabs?"

Gabby looked up when she heard her brother's somewhat exasperated voice, Antonio coming from the hallway while wiping a bit of sweat off his brow.

"Do you have another drill somewhere around here, to help with the bed. Pops is being a real-"

"Antonio." Camila spoke warningly, Gabby biting back a smile while the older Dawson sibling shot her a regretful look.

"Piece of work." He finished, those words clearly not the original ones he was wanting to use as Camila shook her head, all while trying to hide the small smile playing on her lips. "He won't let me or Casey help, and it's taking forever. So I figured if I could get another drill in there…"

"Check the laundry room, top shelf." Gabby instructed, Antonio nodding gratefully before heading that way. "That's where Matt keeps his tools, it should be there."

"Thanks sis." He responded, Gabby smiling his way until he disappeared from view. But he was only gone for a few seconds, Antonio finding what he needed rather quickly before he was walking back towards the bedroom. "Hopefully he'll let me help now." He muttered under his breath, Gabby chuckling softly while Camila shook her head.

"I see your father and brother are still acting the same." She commented, prompting Gabby to smirk as it was no secret that Ramon and Antonio had been bickering most of the morning. About anything and everything, it didn't matter. They just evidently had very different ideas on how to best move things out of this apartment, and more often than not it led to a few spats between the father and son.

And it was driving Camila absolutely crazy. Even though Gabby found it rather amusing.

"But God bless them, at least they're trying to help." She added on, Gabby nodding once more while placing another wrapped glass into the box sitting in front of her.

"They are, they're helping so much." She responded, gratitude evident in her voice as Camila glanced towards her. "And, even though Papa and Tonio are bickering," She said, earning a smile from her mom before she continued, "it means so much to Matt and I to have your all's help… It's making this so much easier."

"Oh mija, you never need to thank us for this, we wouldn't be anywhere else." She spoke easily with a wave of her hand. "Although I can't speak for Leslie and Kelly," She added on, Gabby laughing a bit as it was no secret the two roommates had done their fair share of fighting today as well. "But of course we were going to be here to help, we wouldn't miss this for anything… Besides, it's only right we're here. We helped you move in, now it's time to help you move out." She finished, Gabby's face softening before she gave her a gentle nod.

"Thank you, Mama." She replied quietly, afraid her voice would betray her if she spoke any louder as today had certainly come with its fair share of emotions.

"No no, none of that." Camila tried, sensing the change in her daughter's demeanor as Gabby let out a soft laugh, before nodding her head. "I'm just glad to see you and Matthew taking this next step, and that everything has worked out." She told her, earning an agreeing nod from Gabby. "And you two are still feeling good about everything?"

"We are, we're so excited." She responded without a thought, causing Camila to smile. "This is what we've wanted, what we've dreamed of together. And now it's finally happening." She breathed out, Camila watching on quietly while letting her daughter get everything out. "There are a lot of feelings going on, it's a big change for us… Part of me is a little sad to leave this apartment, because it's the first place where I really took that step to be on my own." She explained, Camila nodding sadly as it was hard to forget the low point her daughter used to be at in her life. "And then with Matt and I, we created so much of our lives here. This is where we lived when we got engaged, when we got married. And to leave this behind feels kind of weird now, we're definitely gonna miss it. But our home here is also part of why me and Matt were able to buy a house together, why we are where we are. It's what led us to now, and so even though it's a little sad to leave, we're both so ready to be in our new home. And… Sorry, I know I'm rambling." She cut herself off, ducking her head towards the ground shyly when she realized just how much she'd been talking. "Half of that probably didn't make any sense."

"It does, Gabriela." Camila soon replied, prompting Gabby to look back up at her mom to find a knowing, and supportive gleam in her eye. "It makes perfect sense, and you're right… It may be sad to leave this apartment, with everything you and Matt went through here. But you're also about to move into a new home together, your home, and make all sorts of new memories. That's a wonderful thing." She assured her, Gabby nodding before her mom brought her in for a hug. It was quick, but helped all the same as Camila rubbed over her back before they separated. "And, I know I'm biased, but if you were to ask me, there are no two people who deserve this more than you and Matthew."

That last statement caused the smile on Gabby's face to widen, knowing her mom meant every word as Camila patted her arm lovingly. "Thank you, Mama." She replied softly.

"And I'm just glad I get to be a part of it. Your father and I both." She added on, before leaning forward to press a sweet kiss to Gabby's head.

"Yeah I'm not sure if I could say the same, Mrs. Dawson." Shay's voice cut in unexpectedly, Gabby pulling back from her mom and turning around to find her and Severide making their way back from the front door. Gabby couldn't be sure how much of the conversation they'd heard, but it clearly was enough for her best friend to insert herself as Camila let out a soft laugh, while Shay stood on the opposite side of the counter.

"And why is that, Leslie?" Camila asked easily, Severide letting out an amused scoff as Shay rested her palms on the countertop.

"Because Gabby and lover boy back there have way too much stuff." She breathed out quickly, the group laughing once more while Gabby merely shook her head.

"Shay, you've been in this apartment a thousand times. You know how much stuff we have." She tried to reason.

"Yeah, I know.. But I was hoping you all would have finished with most of it before we got here." She continued to complain, even though they all knew she wasn't serious. That she was only giving Gabby a hard time, as she so often did.

"Aka she wanted it to be done before we got here." Severide added on, Camila letting out another laugh while Gabby shot him a knowing smirk, Shay then huffing out a breath before shoving her hip into his.

"That's not what I meant, Kelly. All I'm saying is that maybe if Gabby and Mr. Gabby had spent a little less time together in the shower and more time packing, we would be getting done quicker." She teased, Gabby's face going hot as Camila pursed her lips together beside her, desperately trying not to laugh.

It's not that Gabby was surprised by Shay's words, as her friend had been teasing them mercissily since they arrived, when it was clear by their appearance alone that Gabby and Matt had just gotten out of the shower. But Shay was the only one crass enough to comment on it, Dawson shaking her head a bit as her entire body flushed.

"Shay…" She warned, Gabby suddenly just grateful that at least her father hadn't been out here to hear her comment.

"Yeah, I don't need to hear this." Severide said in disgust, shaking his head back and forth while Shay chuckled once more.

"What? I'm just saying, you all might've wasted precious time this morning… And it's not like your mom doesn't know what you two were doing." Shay joked, Gabby feeling even more heat spread through her system when she heard her mother let out a lighthearted laugh.

"She has a point, sweetheart." Camila added on, Gabby immediately shaking her head before she stepped away from the counter.

"I'm just gonna go see if the guys need any help." She replied quickly, as she knew if she didn't get away soon Shay would keep teasing her about her and Matt's sex life, and that was about the last conversation she wanted to be having right now.

"Uh huh." Shay replied, Camila letting out another laugh at the harmless fun they were having while Gabby passed them, Dawson only stopping to give Shay a light swat in return before she headed off down the hallway.

She could hear the three men working before she saw them, the sound of drills and a bit of grunting filling her ears just as she stepped into the bedroom to find them pulling apart their bed. It was sitting on the ground in a few decent sized pieces, making it much easier to transport as Matt and Ramon both stood up straighter, giving themselves a minute to catch their breath.

"Hey baby." Casey spoke with a grin when he saw her, Gabby offering him a bright smile in return as Ramon and Antonio both looked her way.

She hadn't seen much of them since everyone arrived, except Antonio a few times, but she could tell how hard they'd been working. "Hey… Just thought I'd come check in, see how things are going back here." She spoke, causing her dad to grin before he nodded.

"Oh, we're doing great mija. Almost got the bed done." He spoke proudly.

"That's great, thank you for all your help."

"Of course, of course.. Anything for my princess." He replied, Matt letting out a soft laugh while Antonio shook his head.

"Bet you heard that a lot growing up, huh?" Casey asked him, Antonio scoffing before he nodded.

"Almost every day." He replied, the two men sharing another chuckle while Ramon merely shot his son a look.

"Can't help it if I'm the favorite, Tony." Gabby played along, all four of them grinning amusement while Antonio released an easy laugh.

"Yeah, yeah. I know… But that's alright, I've got Mama on my side." He joked, the siblings' back and forth rather amusing to both Ramon and Matt as it never took much for them to start this.

"Now now, you know your mother and I love you both equally… Most days." Ramon told them, more laughs being heard around the room before they began to go back to work, none of the men wanting to waste too much time as they were trying to finish a lot of this before nightfall. "Antonio, want to help me get this outside?" He asked, nodding to one of the railings for the bed.

"Sure thing, Pops." Antonio replied, Gabby then stepping out of the way so they could maneuver through the doorway, the smaller piece making it easy for them to navigate the hallway without damaging anything.

"How are things going out there?" Matt asked a few seconds later, Gabby glancing his way to find him taking a sip of his water before lifting his shirt up to wipe some of the sweat from his forehead, giving her the perfect view of his torso. At least for a few seconds. "...Babe?"

Gabby snapped out of her headspace, her eyes moving up to him to find a knowing look waiting for her, making it clear her stares had been caught. But she wasn't embarrassed by it, Gabby merely smirking before she nodded. "Everything's going fine." She answered his first question, Matt laughing softly as he took a step towards her. "We've gotten a lot packed up, Shay and Severide were able to get some of the smaller furniture moved out. And your mom is in the guest room right now I think, packing away all the extra bedding."

"God bless her." Matt breathed out, Gabby nodding in agreement.

"Oh, and Shay made sure to bring up our… morning activities. Couldn't help herself." She added on, Casey grinning like an idiot while his hand came out to rest over her hip.

"Oh yeah?"

"Mhmm, she thought it was hilarious." She responded, pulling a laugh from him.

"Well, did you at least tell her how good it was?" He questioned back, Gabby tilting her head to the side before she scoffed.

"In front of my mother?"

His face fell, Gabby fighting to not laugh back at him before he shook his head a few times. "Fair point."

"Yeah, I thought it best to spare the details." She responded, moving her hand up to rub over his stubbly chin. "And if I didn't know any better, I'd say you're getting awfully cocky, Mr. Casey." She said softly, seeing his smile widen as he pulled her closer.

"Well how could I not, Mrs. Casey?" He asked back, her name falling off his lips as she felt her knees go weak for just the slightest second. "When I was having to hold you up by the end of it." He reminded her, Gabby's eyes falling closed as her teeth ran over her bottom lip at the memory.

"...Fair point." She conceded, repeating his previous words as Matt laughed once more, shaking his head back and forth before leaning forward to press a soft kiss to her lips.

"Alright, enough about how amazing I am in bed," He started, Gabby rolling her eyes playfully while tapping her hand against his jaw. "Do you know when you want to take the first load of stuff over to the new house?" He shifted subjects, Gabby somewhat thankful for that as she was sure her father and brother would be back in this room at any minute. And after what had just happened out in the kitchen, she didn't need the rest of her family hearing about how she and Matt spent their morning.

"Whenever you're ready is fine with me." She replied, Casey thinking over her words before he nodded.

"Okay, just let me help them get this bed out of here then we can go." He responded, Gabby smiling softly in agreement before the two separated, both of them heading back to their own tasks while they worked on emptying out this apartment.

Casey drew in a soft breath as he stood on the concrete walkway leading up to what was now their front door, an unexplainable amount of peace coursing through his system while his eyes looked over their new home for the very first time. At least since it became theirs, the smile on his face growing as he felt Gabby's hand tighten in his grip.

They had gotten here a few minutes ago, the couple bringing Matt's truck that had been packed to the brim with the first load of their belongings. But they hadn't made any move to get those boxes yet, as for now they were content to just stand here and take in all of this, this surreal, yet somewhat strange feeling something they were sure wouldn't fade away anytime soon as it was still hard to believe sometimes that this was their home. That they had made it through all the ups and downs, and found the perfect place for them.

But they had. And they would never stop being grateful for that.

"So," Matt started, twirling the key around in his free hand while Gabby finally tore her eyes away from the house she adored. "Ready to go inside?" He asked her, seeing her face light up before she immediately began to nod, her reaction making his heart soar before he brought her hand up to kiss gently. "Alright, let's go.. We'll come back and get some boxes in a bit. Right now, I just wanna go in there with you."

Her smile widened, Gabby nodding once more in response as she couldn't wait to experience this moment with him. To walk into their home for the first time, she was so excited. And she knew Matt was too, which is why they had chosen to do this part alone.

They were so appreciative to their families for all the help they'd given them throughout this entire process, but right now this was something just for them. Stepping into their house for the very first time, that was a moment they would only get to experience once. And it felt right for it to be just her and Matt. That's what they wanted, and thankfully their friends and family had graciously agreed to stay back and keep packing, as not only had they all seen the house already, but they knew how special of a time this was for Matt and for Gabby. So they were still back at the apartment waiting for the all clear to head over, giving the couple the chance to come and see this home now that it was officially theirs.

With their hands still clasped together, Casey and Dawson walked the rest of the path up to their front porch, Matt pulling the key out and sliding it into the door before turning the lock, breaking the last barrier between them and their house as he slowly pushed the door open.

"After you." He told her, Gabby grinning up at him before she stepped inside, sensing Matt walk behind her and pull the door closed, shutting them away from the outside world as they stood inside what was now, and what would forever be, their living room.

And it was one of the greatest feelings in the world.

It was hard to describe almost, standing in this barren house as there was nothing but the appliances left over, but Gabby was sure she'd never felt this happy in her life. Or it at least came close, her breath almost catching in her throat as she found herself falling in love with this home all over again, like it was even better than they remembered. And that feeling was only part of how she knew they had made the right choice, as there were no regrets from either of them. And there never would be.

"Wanna take a look around?" He prompted, regaining his grip on her hand while she glanced up at him.

"Mhmm." She hummed in response, the light in her eyes never dulling before they began to walk around.

They had seen every inch of this home multiple times, but something about this visit made everything feel new and exciting, like they were seeing it all over again for the very first time while they walked through all the rooms and up the stairs, the couple eventually making their way back down to main level before settling out on the back deck.

"God, I love it here." Gabby breathed out as she looked out at the fenced in backyard, Matt smiling as he watched her from across the porch.

"I know you do." He answered lightly, causing her to glance back at him with a grin of her own. "I can already tell you're gonna have a lot of fun decorating these rooms."

"Oh, absolutely." She replied without hesitation, Matt releasing a soft laugh while slowly walking towards her, only stopping once he was close enough to rest his hands over her hips.

"And, you know… We'll have to make sure we christen this place like we did the apartment." He spoke suggestively, Gabby biting down on her lip as their eyes locked on one another.

"Will we now?" She went along, watching her husband smirk before he pulled her closer.

"Definitely. It's like a rite of passage." He responded, causing her to scoff lightly while shaking her head. "And we'll start with the bedroom." He added on, nodding in the direction of the room they had been in earlier.

"Is that all you think about?" She asked teasingly, the look on his face never failing before he shrugged.

"No… Mostly, but not all." He joked, Gabby rolling her eyes despite the quiet laugh that left her lips. "But really, you wanna know what I'm thinking about right now?" He asked her, his voice turning serious as her eyebrows raised.

"What are you thinking about right now?" She repeated his words, his face softening while his eyes traced over her, before he finally spoke up.

"Right now, I'm thinking about you." He told her, Gabby's gaze never leaving him as he slowly nodded. "I'm thinking about you, and about us… How excited I am to be here with you, and have this house with you. I'm excited to move in here, and spend our first night here. How we're gonna get to experience all these new memories together. And I'm thinking about how right now I am, by far, the happiest I've ever been… And that's because of you." He spoke with conviction, Gabby feeling tears spring to her eyes as he brought his hands up to cup her face.

"You have made me the happiest I have ever been in my life. And I can't wait to live here with you, to grow into this house with you. To go through the rest of our lives together. And I feel like I can never thank you enough for that." He told her, her eyebrows furrowing as she gravitated closer to him.

"For what?" She managed to ask through her threatening tears, Matt smiling softly while his thumb stroked over her cheek.

"For making my dreams come true." He replied like it was the easiest thing in the world, Gabby's heart nearly bursting out of her chest as a lone tear finally escaped down her cheek, Matt wasting no time in wiping it away. "You… You, Gabby, are my dream. You're everything I could've ever wanted, or wished for. You're more than everything, and every day when I feel like there's no way for me to love you more than I already do, I'm proven wrong." He spoke with nothing but an immense love in his voice, causing Gabby to smile. "And now that we have our home together, and we're going through life together, I just- I love you so much. I love you, and the life you've given me."

By the time he finished Gabby couldn't help but let a few more tears fall, her head shaking slightly side to side while his hands stayed gently over her cheeks. "You're trying to make me cry, aren't you?" She asked through her tears, Matt letting out a soft laugh at the first words she'd chosen to say.

"No baby, I'm not." He replied lightly, feeling her hands reach out to grip onto his shirt. "I just love you, and want to make sure you know it. That I love you, I love our house.. I love the life we're building together, all of it. I am just so Goddamn in love with you, and I-"

She cut him off with a heavy, passion filled kiss, their lips finding each other instantly as their bodies pressed together. He was holding onto her face as carefully as possible, while also keeping her close to him, Gabby setting the pace as they moved against one another until they finally separated once air became an issue. When they pulled apart, it was impossible for her to miss the near goofy grin on his face, Gabby's entire body flooding with love for the man in front of her as she knew without a doubt that she had never felt this way for anyone else. Nothing came close.

"I love you, too." She replied, the edges of his eyes crinkling as the smile on his face widened, his hands still lovingly stroking her skin as she tightened her hold on his side. "Everything you said, that's how you make me feel… Every single day of our lives." She breathed out, desperate for him to know just how much he meant to her. "I love you so much, Matthew Casey."

His eyes were shining, Gabby nodding as she spoke while more tears trailed down her skin. But they were happy ones, Matt's eyes moving over her one last time before he pulled her in for another kiss. There was nothing else that needed to be said between them, the two not pulling back this time as the emotions surrounding them dictated their every move, Matt and Gabby continuing to enjoy this time in their new house in the only way they wanted.

And that was together.
