"Why so silent, good monsieur?"

Katsuki Bakugo, the future #1 hero, was pulled out of his thoughts by his half French extra classmate. Any other day, he'd mock the armor and cape he was wearing, but he was in no mood to call out Extras on their idiocy.

No, all that was on Katsuki's mind was getting through the Sports Fest, hopefully without anyone remarking how he had created a villain. It didn't matter that Deku was dead now; the nerd was haunting him through that reveal: Spiky Hair ignored him, none of the others 1A students wanted anything with him unless Aizawa partnered him with them…

Just like Deku had gone through all their life. Because of him.

Fighting back the still unfamiliar and uncomfortable feelings of guilt and regret, Katsuki let out a huff and moved towards the door, waiting for the bell. The other boys cleared a path for him, staying out of his way.

Aoyama delighted in this silent Bakugo: After what he had heard from the Rejects for how he treated Izuku, this was a most delicious case of ironic karma.

"Mon Amis? I do realize it is a little late, but if any of you are interested, I have written up some notes on our competition."

The other boys hurried to Aoyama's side as he handed out sheets, jot points on the students of Classes 1B, C and D. Izuku had done the notes, but had given them to his friend free of charge.

"Hey, this is all about Quirks!" Mineta snapped indignantly.

"…What did you expect?" Aoyama rose an eyebrow, driving the midget into silence, just as the bell rang, announcing it was time to show themselves to the world. Bakugo was quick to dash out first, but Aoyama, wanting to dazzle the audience, caught up to him:

"I advise you to be…'standard' and 'cliché' with your speech. After all, there are worse thing than a shattered ego."

In the girl's changing room, Mina sighed before she put on her domino mask.

Once upon a time, this would've been a dream come true; debuting in her costume, already somewhat known AND with an interview everyone would want to watch/read scheduled after the Sports Fest? Many young heroines in training wished for this kind of schedule.

Then again, many Heroines-in-training did not have the 'baggage' of seeing how unfair the world truly was, seeing a lovable band of kind misfits blown up after being forced into villainy (even when they had proven to be decent people), knowing a little girl was desperately holding onto her to succeed to old onto what little happiness and sanity she had…

And of course, now knowing how the legend the country, nay the entire world worshipped was a hypocritical sham that had helped create the misfit 'that damned UA.' Not helping matters was said misfit's parents telling Mina stories of their late son, filling the pink skinned girl with more regret she had only known Izuku on his last day of life.

"Mina?" Tooru asked, worried for her best friend, who jolted awake.

"Yeah, Tooru?" Mina asked, putting on a smile.

"The bell will ring soon; if you need to walk….?"

Mina's smile became genuine as she hugged Tooru.

"I need to do this." She declared, then looking over the rest of her classmates. "Alright, ladies! Let's go out there, wow the crowd and show the world we're here!"

The others smiled and saluted as the bell rang, leading them outside. Mina stayed in the back, taking deep breathes to compose herself and remembering the good things in her life: Her parents, her brothers, Eri, Eijiro, Inko and Hisashi Midoriya…

"I AM here." She declared to herself as she spotted the packed stadium.

"This is so boring. What a great job!"

Jin Bumigawa, AKA Twice, picked up trash and litter as he looked around for any sign of Eri. He was keeping his mind out for anyone who looked like they could be related to Mina, as it seemed most likely she was probably with the family of the one person who survived the rig explosion that she trusted.

It was either that or her being kept somewhere at UA, which was Izuku and Himiko's job to investigate, with Kenji managing them from being spotted.

He was so wrapped up in finding Mina's family and picking up trash, he didn't realize he had bumped into someone.

"Sorry! Who're you?" He asked, only to gasp when he saw her:

Midnight herself, somewhat sweating from being in a hurry to get to her place in time to start referee work.

"Its okay, you're not hurt, are you?" She asked.

"No, not all." Jin managed. " 'Tis but a scrape!"

The woman chuckled as she helped him to his feet and handed him back his tools.

"Oh shoot! I got to go! Keep up the good work!" Midnight waved, just missing the blush on Jin's face.

"….I think she likes me. WHOA MAMA!"

TSR

Midnight had made it JUST in time, but no one noticed she was running late. In fact, the only thing that went off was her speaking over All Might when he publically declared that he was indeed a UA teacher.

"And now, for the opening speech!" Midnight called out, pointing her crop to the speaker. "The student who placed #1 in our Selection Exam this year…Katsuki Bakugo!"

There was no arrogant smirk on the boy's face as he stepped up to the podium. Where once he would've proudly declared he'd wipe the floor with everyone and was going to succeed All Might? Here, all he said was:

"…Just watch us."

Diagoro and Manami frowned at the cheers they explosive boy was getting, hearing some praising him for his humbleness or 'quick thinking after such a tragedy.'

"Such a cliché attempt at sympathy." Diagoro mused.

"At least he kept it short." Manami replied.

"Indeed."

The two saw the speaker of that one word:

Nedzu himself, sipping some tea. Behind him, Hound Dog, whose attention had been rapt on Bakugo is disappointment, but now seemed to lessen into concern and focus on them,

"Good morning, Gentleman. La Brava." The smartest mammal alive smiled. "Might we have a word?"

From her own seat Himiko, disguised as a random General Studies student, had GLARED at the screen she was getting most of her viewing from.

She hated Katsuki Bakugo. She hated his face, his personality, his quirk…and how he actually DID live up to his hype. The only reason she never went to him was because she knew Izuku needed to deal with him.

Never mind she had more pressing matters to attend to: It was one thing to hear from Aoyama, she and the others needed to see for themselves.

Getting up from her seat, the disgused girl made her way towards out the stadium and back towards UA. Flashing the student's ID tag, she got inside no problem. However, since the student called in sick, she knew she had limited time before UA security picked up on the discrepancy and someone came after her.

"Where was it again?" She asked, noticing her 'face' was dripping. "Ah, screw it."

Himiko's disguise splattered on the ground as she searched the school grounds, suddenly remembering he room number and checking a map. She was close.

A text on her phone alerted her to Mina's first fight starting. As she walked to her target, she watched joyfully as her friend walloped Aoyama.

"WOHOO!" Himiko cheered, grateful the school was empty. "Bet Izuku is enjoying that."

TSR

"By Kami, she's amazing." Izuku swooned as he saw Mina celebrate her win. Then he remembered that it was poor Aoyama she had beat and he felt bad for his loss….but then he recalled how athletic and breathtaking Mina had been when she threw that uppercut….

Reluctantly making his way towards the school, Izuku admired the UA Stadium. Once upon a time, being here was a dream of his. Now? Unless it was Mina ro Aoyama? He had not interest, aside from….

"Izuku Midoriya!"

The boy found himself being held by a giant arm and pinned to a muscular chest. His one working eye managed to look up and see Death Arms smirking down at him.

"Thought you could sneak in, huh?"

"You got the wrong guy, hero-san!" Izuku struggled. "My name is Akatani!"

Death Arms lifted the boy and wiped his face, revealing his scarred face and removing the fake hair.

"Do I?"

"What's going on?"

Kenji, dressed a security guard, froze at the sight of her little brother figure in the clutches of one of his scarrers. It took all her will not to reveal herself, but she reached for a baton.

"I just caught the punk kid who caused the whole mess!" Death Arms beamed, almost like he was mad with delight. "Finally, I can get the committee off my back! Once everyone knows? Things can go back to normal!"

He then threw the boy to the ground

"Cuff him up buddy!" Death Arms ordered. "I need to get to the announcers!"

Despite everything, the burnt boy looked at the Pro with an annoyed look on his face.

"Let me get this straight." Izuku begged. "You're going to interrupt the UA Sports Festival. The single most recorded and streamed event in our generation. To announce you've captured me: A presumed deceased, possibly amnesiac boy who not only did what you didn't during that sludge villain incident, but who your incompetence created and you've roughed up without fully confirming his identity. In front of not only all the assembled Pros, teachers, students and civilians….But the entire world?"

Death Arm's grin faded as Izuku spoke, and the boy's own face took on a grin.

"Good for you." Kenji smirked. She was addressing Izuku when she said that, but hey, if it made this muscle head see the moron he was? Extra treat.

Izuku stood still as he was let go, the Super-Strong Pro stepping away and turning his back to him. When Death Arms turned back around, Izuku was gone; in his place was a puddle of goop.

"W-what the hell…?!" The Pro gasped. "How did he?! He was Quirkless!"

He turned to Kenji

"What the hell are you doin standing around, man? Start searching!"

"I'm a girl." Kenji snapped curtly, making Death Arms freeze in shock and then stumble. This gave her enough time to pull a large object from behind her. She threw it over Death Arms as her hands began to glow blue

Death Arms was suddenly flying upwards. Unfortunately for him, but luckily for the Rejects, he had seen sent flying at the exact moment Shoto Todoroki created an iceburg that not only blocked out the view of him sailing over the arena.

"Hey there, Eri."

The little girl, who had been snacking on some apples and watching the Sports Fest on TV, gasped as she heard that voice. Tears filled her eyes as she turned, praying it was real…

It was.

"Himiko!"

The little girl raced to hug the blonde, who gently hugged her back, fighting back tears of her own.

"Are you doing okay in here?" Himiko asked despite all the evidence: Eri was beaming, she had some better clothes, a nice small bed, toys, a TV and a totally clan room.

"Hello, Himiko Toga."

The girls paused to see Inko Midoriya, Chitose and Vlad King standing at the door, the two women with warm smiles and the Pro with a cold, firm frown on his face.

"…Where is my son?" Inko begged.

In the UA computer lab, a familiar broccoli haired boy with one bad eye inserted a USB drive and pressed upload. He then walked outside and made his way to the stadium, tearing his disguise and smiling as he walked.

That USB was a co-project between Manami and Tomura. Or rather, it had been; she had taken out Tomura's parts and substituted his bits with something else.

"Mission accomplished." Izuku said through an inter-link in his ear as he felt a familiar yet unfamiliar presence between him….

TSR

Clocking out for his shift, Jin ditched his janitor uniform and slipped back into his costume, taking to the rooftops as he headed back to the Aoyama residence.

"I hope this plan works…HA! I got away!" He worried then cackled before realizing something. "Um…where did the perfume clouds come from? CRAP SHE FOUND ME!"

There stood Midnight, her shoulders exposed and a smile on her face.

"I am sorry about this." She confessed. "So….so we do this the easy way, or hard way?"

"Oh easy please!" Jin beamed giddly before pulling out his tape and rushing forward. "NOT TODAY, GODESS!"

TSR

The jumbo-Screen of the stadium suddenly flickered, getting everyone distracting from Tenya and Ibara Shizoaki's fight. When it came back on?

"HELLO WORLD!" The unmasked Izuku on screen cheered, the others then waving. "WE'RE BACK!"

To be continued…!

AT LAST! IT LIVES AGAIN! So, so, sorry for the wait! I do hope this chapter makes up for the wait. In the spirit of Halloween, I had Aoyama channel some of the Phantom of the Opera stage show in the opening. Also, the Twice-Midnight ship has been set up, thoughts on that? Nex

t chapter will be another musically inspired chapter; 'Hell to Your Doorstep' from the Count of Monte Cristo musical

I must now shift my focus upon Sanctuary's final chapter of the REVOCS war, and Spider of the Ranger's special Halloween One Shot. Thank you for all the love you have given not only this, but all my fics.

Read and review, keep safe, warm and above all else as it draws ever so closer…

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
