(A/N) 3 chapters in two days? Well I kind of already had these backed up for a few days, I'm already on the fourth chapter as we speak. Enjoy!

There she was, being held up by her brother. She had way worse injuries than Manic. She had cuts all over her, her clothes torn from struggle and was slightly bleeding from the mouth. All of that was nearly dropped when Sonic noticed her injuries were more serious. It wasn't until she called out that snapped him out of it.

"S-so-nic…" she said from a low whisper before getting into a small coughing fit.

"Sonia, what happened?"

"R-robotnik *cough* is back…*cough* *cough* It was all too fast."

Sonia got into another coughing fit and Sonic slowly lowered her on the floor as he saw her coughing a little bit of blood. They all just watched not knowing what to do, but then they froze. Sonia stopped coughing, but she stopped moving. Sonic didn't want to believe it and started reaching for a pulse. Tails and Knuckles both had shock from his actions. He felt a very slow and faint pulse. He let out a sigh and relaxed…

"Sh-She's still has a pulse…" They both started to ease up a bit, but saw Sonic was just sitting there with his head down. A strange blue and purple aura started to flare around him. Tails tried to ask if his friend was ok.

"Sonic? Are you-"Tails was interrupted by a loud scream and a shockwave coming from Sonic.

"rrrRRRRAH! EGGMAN!" He screamed slowly.

They noticed that Sonic's appearance changed when it happened. His Fur was more of a dark blue with a hint of purple. His quills were defying gravity and his eyes were blood red. He lowered Sonia onto the floor and stood up, only looking at her face.

"Sonic?" This time, Knuckles called out.

Sonic broke eye contact to look at him and Tails with the most angriest expression that startled the two. Upon seeing them both react from his stare, his expression started to drop into a depressed one. His eyes faded into a deep shade of purple instead of angry red, but when he looked back at Sonia and Manic, he changed back before yelling out his rage.

"When I see that Egghead, I'm gonna show him true pain! You know what? He has been free for too long! I'm gonna go find him and… and… Kill Him!"

"Sonic!" Tails yelled. "Calm down! This isn't like you! We need to wait and help-"

"Wait? WAIT?! I have waited long enough! Ever since I was born, Family or no Family, He caused nothing but pain! It's time to put all that pain back on him."

His eyes started to fade to white and his color dropped to a near black ish purple. He was about to just jump through the roof to find him despite Tails and Knuckles trying to make him stop, but another voice stopped him.

"Sonic…" All slowly turned to see Manic awake and frightened, Sonic's eyes went back to red. He saw his sister on the floor and his brother going berserk in front of him.

"Sonic, what- what's going on?" Manic frantically asks with tears forming.

It was a huge punch in the gut for Sonic to see him like that. His eyes faded back to the shade of purple the other two once saw before.

"Manic…" He whispered, but it wasn't his voice. Manic picked up that voice.

"M-Mom?"

"I- Ugh!"

Sonic then put both hands on his head and dropped to his knees. The other two walked over to him and noticed that his aura had disappeared. Along with his color back to a cobalt blue and his eyes to shine emerald green.

"Huh? Wha? What happened?"

"You don't remember the last few minutes?" Tails asked worryingly.

"Uh, no?"

"That doesn't sound good, bro." Manic took Sonic's attention in a sonic second.

"Manic? You're awake!"

"Don't focus on me, focus on Sonia!"

Sonic looked down to where he was pointing and remembering what happened before the transformation. Sonia was still on the floor without medical help. Sonic made a grunt to himself for forgetting before he picked her up and left the house at the speed of sound which left Manic speechless.

"Woah, what was that?"

"You mean his transformation? No clue." Tails replied.

"Well that, but I mean the way he just ran." Manic corrected.

"His speed? Sonic's always been able to do that. If you're his brother, then shouldn't you have known that?"

"He was never that fast the last time they met…" Knuckles interrupted.

"What? Wait… So, you knew?"

"Sonic asked me to keep anything related to his family a secret until…" Knuckles paused.

"Until, what? And why would he keep this a secret?"

Knuckles couldn't really say much. He's not Sonic, so he doesn't fully understand. Manic however, does.

"Until Robotnik is gone for good."

Tails spins his head around to face him, but Manic continues.

"He doesn't want anyone to know about us until he is gone. He wanted to make sure he never comes back to Mobotropolis. If he gives us away then he might try to attack our home and conquer it again! ..but I guess it wasn't enough…"

Manic could only express sadness giving the explanation. How can you say something like that and not be sad? Manic only knew Sonic during their time together to win the war for his home. But when Sonic decided to go after Robotnik to make sure he never returned, he and the others were heartbroken. Even the fact that he couldn't even mention a single detail about them in fear of him returning hurt them much worse.

Tails felt bad about what he said but he doesn't know Sonic's past, or at least his real past. The only thing he said was that he was raised on his own on Angel Island and didn't know knuckles until they met in battle after being tricked. Wait, if Knuckles knew Sonic before all this, how did he get tricked into thinking he was an enemy? He thought.

"For a second, I thought we would never see eachother again…" Manic continued. "It's been years and now… Our home is attacked and we are sent away from mom, again!"

Manic puts his hands over his face and sobs uncontrollably. Tails gave only sympathy for the green hedgehog, Knuckles lowered his head also giving sympathy. He knows what they went through, even though Tails was told about it by Sonic himself, he still doesn't fully understand. Tails moved to put a hand on Manic's shoulder, trying to comfort him.

"Hey, it's okay. Everything will be fine, We can help you take back your home." Tails reassured.

Manic responded through the tears, "Yeah, right. *sniffle* It took all of the- *sniffle* the resistance and almost 12 years to take it back and we only had Sonic for the last 2…"

Knuckles joined in, "You don't know what we've been through in recent years. We are much stronger than you think."

"Yeah, we have been through a lot. Fighting Eggman with all of his bots, Saving the world from a giant water creature, saving the world when it was broken into pieces, heck he even said other worlds. I think we can handle him."

"Egg-man?" Manic questions.

Tails hits his head, "Right, you weren't there. Robotnik changed his name to Eggman to make him sound more serious. Big mistake." he laughed.

"S-seriously?" Manic was just feeling better after that before Sonic returned. They all faced him with a worrying gance. Manic spoke first.

"Sonic, is Sonia…"

Sonic paused, thinking of every worst possible outcome before saying, "I don't know… They wouldn't say anything to me. At least, not yet…"

Both Manic and Knuckles lowered their heads in sadness. There is nothing they can do, her injuries were too severe for them to try to heal by themselves. All they can do is wait…

How could Eggman have something so powerful? How does he remember the Sonic Underground after so many years with no mention of them? What happened to Aleena back home? Stay tuned for another chapter!
