Ruby: Finally, it's over…

Pyrrha: Are you okay, Ruby?

Yang: Yeah, she's fine. Just glad to be done with finals.

Jaune: Oh, yeah, you're a bit younger than us. Those must've been rough.

Weiss: Helping her study for them was torture…

Blake: Hey, at least we're done now, right?

Nora: Maybe, but at what cost?

Yang: Nora? What happened to you?

Ren: Academia isn't her strong suit. Finals were very taxing.

Pyrrha: Hey, at least you're free now, right?

Ruby: Yeah, but my brain is just about to explode…

Ch. 1 After - Hidden Talents (Ruby, Qrow, Taiyang)

Ruby: So… here it is!

Qrow: You wrote a song?

Taiyang: It's about Summer…

Ruby: It's a few years old now, but after meeting Weiss and Blake, I wanted to add a new verse to it…

Qrow: What's the plan for it?

Ruby: I want to play it at the cultural festival during Vytal.

Qrow: Damn. Pretty impressive.

Taiyang: I guess Beacon probably does have a bunch of instruments lying around… Well, I'm no musician, but I'll help however I can.

Qrow: Same here. Might have to call in a few favors to Oz to make sure you can get everything you need.

Ruby: Thank you two so much!

Taiyang: Have you… brought this up to anyone else?

Ruby: Oh, um… I was going to do that, eventually.

Ch. 2 Before - Trepidation (Weiss)

Weiss: I really do need to have that talk with Blake… I need to find the courage to actually approach her. What do I even say? Well, other than "I'm sorry", of course. Maybe I can call Winter and ask? It isn't like she's ever had to do something like this, though. Oh, why does apologizing have to be so hard…?

Ch. 2 After - Dancing Fever (Sun, Blake, Weiss)

Sun: Wasn't expecting you to have moves like that, Weiss!

Weiss: Wh-what're you talking about? Blake was just flailing me about!

Blake: I don't know, Weiss. I think you looked pretty good out there.

Weiss: W-well, I hope you enjoyed it while it lasted, because I'm not one to dance much!

Blake: To this sort of music, you mean.

Sun: Classical music or whatever isn't really my style, but if I have to bribe the DJ to put on something you'd swing your hips to during the dance, it'll be worth the cash.

Weiss: "Swing your hips"? What do you think I normally dance to?

Ch. 3 Before - The Road Home (Blake)

Blake: How many years has it been? Mom, dad… what're you going to say when you see me? I hope you aren't too disappointed… Even if I've left the White Fang now, I still left you for them… I never thought I'd be this happy about how far away Menagerie is from everywhere that isn't Mistral…

Ch. 3 After - The Abyss (Blake, Ghira, Kali)

Ghira: Blake, have you seen our leftovers from last night's dinner?

Blake: Our leftovers? They're gone.

Ghira: They're go- what happened to them?

Kali: Oh, Ghira, Blake, good morning! Did you two have a good night?

Blake: Take a guess, dad.

Ghira: Kali…

Kali: Yes?

Ghira: Is your stomach just an abyss? How can you eat so much yet never gain weight?

Kali: That, my love, is a secret!

Ghira: Blake, dear…

Blake: Yes?

Ghira: If you've inherited your mother's cavernous stomach, I pity whoever you marry. Their wallet will cry out in anguish.

Ch. 4 Before - Argus Limited (Jaune, Indigo, Violet)

Violet: Oh, I can't wait to see everyone again!

Indigo: It's been a while, hasn't it? It's going to be nice.

Jaune: Yeah, but until we're actually in Argus, just relax and behave, alright? I don't want either of you getting us kicked off the train for misbehaving.

Indigo: "Either of you", he says…

Violet: They wouldn't do that! …Would they?

Jaune: Who knows? But, if you're a good girl, you won't have to learn the hard way.

Ch. 4 After - Amends (Jaune, Scarlet)

Jaune: Hey… Scarlet?

Scarlet: What's up, baby boy?

Jaune: Could you st- never mind. Look, I'm sorry. About what I said last night.

Scarlet: Are you sure you should be apologizing to me? Dad was the one you were shit talking, after all.

Jaune: …That's not what I mean. I know you're just worried about it. I was being insensitive.

Scarlet: You were being human. We're all just selfish pricks at the end of the day. I still want you safe, and that's my selfishness. You wanted to go to Beacon, and that's yours. Just don't get yourself killed, alright?

Jaune: Yeah, I'll be careful.

Ch. 5 Before - Flowers (Pyrrha, Hestia)

Hestia: Fresh flowers are always the best, don't you think?

Pyrrha: They really are beautiful, aren't they?

Hestia: I'm sure Apollo will be happy that we were able to get things in fresh from the fields.

Pyrrha: Mom? Why do we always get this type of flower? You said they were called… Gladiolus, right?

Hestia: That's right. The language of flowers is a funny thing, but I thought they would be just perfect for your father.

Pyrrha: What do they mean?

Hestia: Strength of character, moral integrity, faithfulness, and remembrance. Sounds perfect for him, doesn't it?

Pyrrha: It really does… Leave it to you to find something beautiful and appropriate. He must be so happy, whenever he sees such a wonderful flower by his grave.

Ch. 5 After - Family (Pyrrha, Hestia)

Hestia: Pyrrha?

Pyrrha: Yes, mom?

Hestia: How many children do you want?

Pyrrha: What? W-why're you asking me that? This is about Jaune, isn't it?!

Hestia: Your words, not mine.

Pyrrha: Ahem… I don't trust that you aren't trying to say something about him, but if you must know… two, maybe? I might be an only child, but I can't help but think having a sibling might've been nice. It's like having a friend I can always depend on, living under the same roof.

Hestia: I see, I see… Being one of eight probably means he wouldn't want to have more than one or two of his own, so it matches up quite nicely…

Pyrrha: So this was about Jaune! Ugh, you can be the worst sometimes!

Ch. 6 Before - Money, Money (Ren, Nora)

Nora: Money, money, money, money!

Ren: Nora, what're you doing?

Nora: I mean, we're going to be working! We're going to be making money!

Ren: I mean, it isn't like we haven't done this before.

Nora: Well, yeah, but it's been a while. It'll be nice to see the number in my bank account get bigger, you know?

Ren: Yes, that does sound appealing…

Nora: What're you going to do with your first paycheck?

Ren: Save it?

Nora: That's all? Boring!

Ren: Nora, that's what we're supposed to do with them.

Nora: Speak for yourself, buddy boy.

Ren: Fine, but if you burn through all of your money, don't come crying to me.

Nora: Please, we both know that even if I do, you'll help me out.

Ren: …That isn't an invitation to be financially irresponsible.

Ch. 6 After - Bridge to the Future

Nora: You know, I only ever thought about humans hating the faunus for no reason. I guess it only makes sense they'd hate us too, huh?

Ren: Yes, but in their case, it isn't "no reason".

Nora: Definitely not. At least it sounds like you might've touched that girl, right? Hopefully she'll grow up to see we aren't all bad.

Ren: Yes. I hope the people she meets don't just prove me wrong, either. I'm only one person. If she doesn't meet more humans, especially more easterners, who aren't kind, decent people, she might just think I was tricking her.

Nora: We all eat, sleep, and bleed red at the end of the day, so why do we have to make all of this so hard?

Ren: I don't know, and I'm not really sure I'd want to know even if there was a definitive answer.
