Naruto had woken up around three in the morning. He proceeded down stairs where he went to his parents training dogs. Smirking, Naruto channeled a bit of chakra and as expected, Might Guy appeared.
"Hello, Naruto! Let's have a youthful spar. If I can't defeat you, I'll do five hundred laps around the village with only my hands!" The fake copy of Guy said.
Naruto let out a small chuckle. "Wow, mom and dad didn't cut any corner." Naruto thought before he got into his taijutsu stance.
The fake Guy charged at Naruto who used his Swift Release - Shadowless Flight. In that moment, Naruto's body changed into a blur as he was delivering punches and kicks like Lee had done to Gaara many years ago.
The fake Guy was sent flying into the wall. "Not bad my youthful challenger! Now it's time to get serious!" Guy shouted as he released the leg weights.
Naruto was impressed that even the weightless form of Guy wasn't enough to keep up with his Shadowless Flight. Naruto ducked a punch aimed at his head and countered with a punch to Guy's stomach that only appeared as a blur.
Before the fake could respond, Naruto appeared behind him and smash his body into the ground. Naruto deactivated the chakra as he smirked with satisfaction.
Naruto continued his training till around six in the morning. He left the dojo to go shower and entered his bedroom where it had its own bathroom. Naruto stepped under the freezing water as he let his muscles rest.
Once his shower was done, Naruto got dressed but instead of his standard outfit he wore in the previous world, Naruto began his own modifications. Looking at himself in the mirror, Naruto had an orange vest with black pants and sandals. He also strapped a sword to his back and put his hoodie on.
Deciding to let Anko know he was leaving, he knocked on her door and smirked when he saw she was still asleep. Deciding to live up to the name as a prank master, Naruto set up some seals before leaving. As he ran down the streets, he could almost hear Anko's yell of anger.
"I'm going to kill that bastard." Anko said as her body was soaked with water from stepping on the seal. When she believed that it was over, she opened the door only for a bucket of water to fall on her. Enraged, she grew a sadistic smirk before going to get cleaned up for the day.
Ninja AcademyNaruto was the first person to arrive. When he stepped into the classroom, Iruka was stunned to see the changes Naruto went through.
"Naruto? Is that you?" Iruka asked the boy with a bored look on his face.
Naruto gave a nod where he took his seat and pulled a book out to read. The sight before Iruka stunned him. "Is he actually reading a book?" Iruka mentally asked himself before he walked over and placed a hand on Naruto's head.
"What are you doing?" Naruto asked a blank expression.
Iruka glared hard before letting out a sigh. "Naruto, what happened to you?" Iruka asked with concern in his voice.
Taking a few moments to answer his question, Naruto smirked. "I took off the mask." Naruto said before returning to his book.
Thirty minutes passed and the rest of the class arrived and were stunned by Naruto's appearance. What shocked everyone was when Sakura told him to move, he ignored her as if she wasn't there.
"Naruto, you idiot!" Sakura roared as she prepared to land a punch on the back of his head.
To her and everyone else, including Iruka, Naruto caught her fist as he was leaking a bit of his killing intent. "Touch me and I'll make sure you never touch another thing again." Naruto said before he let go of her hand and resumed his book.
Nobody could believe that Naruto, the idiot and boy who would die for Sakura had just threatened her without thought. Ino looked over at him and decided she would sit in the back while Sakura was forced to sit next to him instead of Sasuke.
"Good morning, everyone. Today we will be taking your graduation exam. The first part will be the written portion. We will then go outside for our taijutsu and the target test. You will then be given a chance to perform a jutsu for extra credit that would be able to replace any portion or one academy jutsu." Iruka said with a smile.
Naruto received his test before letting out a chuckle. Iruka demanded to know what was so funny that Naruto had to disturb everyone. Naruto explained that Mozilla a jonin test. Iruka attempt to apologize and give him a new test but found that Naruto not only answered the questions, but they were correct.
Naruto sat back in his seat where he resumed his book. The book Naruto read was about the second Hokage and his god level of water. Naruto's plan was to apply the same logic with his Swift, or at least his lightning or wind chakra. Twenty minutes passed and Naruto joined the class for their weapon throwing.
Naruto was called by Naruto Uzumaki but he corrected them and declared his last name was Namikaze. When Kiba Inuzuka tried to argue, Naruto declared that if he or the village had even a single brain cell, they could tell he was a near identical copy. This silenced everyone and in a fit of annoyance, Naruto used his Swift Release - Shadowless Shuriken as they immediately appeared on the bullseye.
During Taijutsu, Naruto stood face to face with Sasuke, the current rookie of the year. Naruto smirked as he remembered how Mizuki set him up to be defeated by either Sasuke or Kiba.
"Come on, loser." Sasuke said while taking the Uchiha Tiger stance.
Naruto dropped in the dragon stance (similar to Goku when he fought Vegeta in the Saigon Saga) and prepared to counter Sasuke's signature charge. As expected, Sasuke charged but found himself being sent across the yard. Naruto chuckled.
"Keep your eye on the birdie, Uchiha." Naruto said as he started walking away until Sasuke called out to him.
"How dare you turn your back on me!" Sasuke roared as he fired a fireball jutsu.
Naruto chuckled and used his Shadowless flight and appeared in front of the last Uchiha and struck him in the gut. Sasuke passed out.
"Itachi really lost to him?" Naruto silently asked himself as he walked back to the group.
"Well, um, I believe it's time for the extra credit. Naruto, would you like to go first?" Iruka asked while trying to wrap his mind around Naruto's performance.
Naruto nodded and held his hand out. A white orb appeared in Naruto's hand but before anyone could blink, all five tree in the academy yard exploded. Naruto chuckled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head.
"Sorry, its been awhile since I used this jutsu. My control isn't the greatest." Naruto said.
"What was that jutsu?" Iruka asked with curiosity.
"It's a variation of the Rasengan. I call it the Swift Release - Shadowless Sphere . It focuses on both my wind and lightning chakra. It cuts the target with such speeds and then explodes from a burst of chakra. All of this happens within half a second and that it would required both a fully matured Sharingan and the user has enough experience to truly see it." Naruto said.
Iruka and Mizuki looked with a blank stare. When they looked at each other, neither of them could believe what they just saw and assumed today had been a dream.
Naruto easily passed the academy ninjutsu portion and decided not to take the clone transformation. He figured it would be pointless to reveal his shadow clones if he didn't have to.
After class, Naruto went for a stroll where he saw a familiar face. Mizuki had greeted him with a clear fake smile.
"Hello, Naruto. How are you?" Mizuki asked.
"Fine. What do you want?" Naruto asked.
"I noticed you scored quite high on the exam and would have surpassed Sasuke had you taken the clone jutsu portion. As a chance to score the extra points, I've given you a chance for the extra credit." Mizuki said with his fake smile.
Naruto sighed as he looked at the white hair chunin with an annoyed expression. "What is it?" Naruto asked.
"Inside the Hokage's tower, if you can take the forbidden scroll of sealing, that will give you more than enough points to pass." Mizuki said.
Naruto let out a chuckle. "You either think I'm stupid or you don't respect me. But seeing how ignorant this entire village is, you probably think both. Only an idiot would fall for that." Naruto said as he walked away.
When Naruto saw a familiar masked shinobi, Naruto gave a wave. The masked ninja looked at him with a confused look.
"Hello, do you need something?" The man asked.
"Dang Kakashi. Don't you know who I am?" Naruto asked with an amused looked.
Kakashi started to sweat. "Um, I'm sorry. It must have been awhile since we met." Kakashi said while giving a sheepish laugh and running the back of his head.
Naruto sighed. "Here I thought you would remember the son of your sensei." Naruto said while crossing his arms but smiled when the realization hit the man.
"Naruto? Is that you?" Kakashi asked.
Naruto smirked. "Come on, let's get some ramen. It will be your treat since you couldn't remember." Naruto jokes while patting Kakashi on the back.
The two went to Icharachu's ramen shop and began talking. Naruto explained what Mizuki did along with his exams. Kakashi was shocked at hearing the boy's performance. After the two finished eating and discussing life in general, Naruto proceeded home where he started to feel a cold shiver down his spine.
"Fuck, Anko." Naruto thought but decided to get his sad fate over with.
Namikaze Compound
Naruto arrived home and found Anko in the kitchen. She was currently cooking them some steak with ramen.
"Smells good." Naruto said with a bright smile.
"I figured you would like this, honey." Anko said.
This caught Naruto off guard and began to get confused. Not giving it too much thought, the blond proceeded to sit at the table where he watched the food being prepared.
"Do you want some help?" Naruto asked his friend.
"No, darling. I will cook for you my knight in shining armor." Anko said.
Naruto sighed. "Is this about the water?" Naruto asked.
"No, it's okay. I don't mind you getting me wet. However, I better be the only one." Anko said with a smirk.
A trickle of blood ram down his nose before he shook his head to clear his mind. What nearly killed the former Jinchuriki was Anko sitting on his lap with her arms around his neck.
Anko slowly brought her mouth and started nibbling on his ear. "Oh, Naruto." Anko said in a swift whisper that made his hairs stand up. "If you ever pull a prank like that, I'll turn every strip of ramen into a python that's so poisonous, not even Kurama's chakra would be strong enough to heal you. She then gave Naruto a kiss on the cheek before he passed out and fell out the chair.
Anko fell over laughing at the blond's reaction. "Get them every time." Anko said while chowing down on her steak and ramen.
Naruto stood up and looked away to hide his blush. He quickly made himself some dinner and sat across from Anko. They are in silence until Naruto spoke up.
"Mizuki asked me to take the forbidden scroll of sealing." Naruto said in a blank tone.
Anko looked at him with surprise. "What did you do?" Anko asked.
Naruto chuckled. "Told him he was an idiot and walked away." Naruto said.
Hokage's Tower
Mizuki arrived at the tower and when he tried to break in, he was greeted by five Anbu with their swords against his neck.
"Mizuki! You are under arrest!" The Anbu captain revealed as Kakashi said.
Once Mizuki was taken away, Kakashi met with the Hokage. "Lord Hokage, Mizuki has been captured." Kakashi said.
"Good, you're dismissed." Hiruzen said and the Anbu vanished in a shun shin.
Namikaze Compound
Naruto was lying awake in his bed. "I wonder. I wonder if changing the future will have these negative consequences?" Naruto silently thought.
He proceeded to stand up and lean against the open window as he looked over at the village. "This is a chance that I have to make things right. I won't mess it up." Naruto thought with a determined smile.
He walked back to his bed and closed his eyes as he fell into a deep sleep and prepared for the following day.
