Sonic had so much fun talking to the princess, but now it was time to take on a new task: Find the other two spiritual stones and give them to Zelda. The first thing Sonic wanted to do was to check out Kakariko Village. "Hey Sonic," said Navi. "What would Saria say if we told her we're going to save Hyrule?"

"Good point," said Sonic. "We should find Saria and pay her a visit." And so that's what he did.

Sonic decided to look in the lost woods and finding Saria was easy because he just had to follow the sound of the music she was playing. Sonic followed the tune to the sacred forest meadow. It was a beautiful place and Sonic could hear the catchy song really well now. That meant he was getting close. So, Sonic went through a maze and when he came out the other side, there she was, sitting on a stump and playing a very catchy tune. "Saria!" Called Sonic. "There you are."

"Oh, hi Sonic," said Saria. "This is the sacred forest meadow. It's my favourite place. I feel like this place will be important for the both of us someday."

"I'm sure it will be," said Sonic. "Now, if you play the ocarina here," said Saria. "You'll be able to talk to the spirits of the forest. Would you like me to teach you how to do that?"

"Yeah," said Sonic. "I'm sure it'll come in very handy for me since I'm going to save Hyrule."

"What? That's amazing!" Said Saria. "Okay, listen to this."

And she taught him "Saria's Song."

It took almost three tries to get it right and when he did, the two friends were giggling and having a wonderful time.

"Great, great!" Said Saria with a giggle. "When you want to hear my voice, just play Saria's Song. You can talk with me anytime." And Sonic went off to Kakariko Village.
