(Ember and Alain points at the screen as it zooms out. Mightyena, Shula, Sceptile, Percy and Tesla come running out a cloud of smoke behind Ember and Alain. Tesla launches a Thunderbolt attack, and it hits a forest causing smoke everywhere)

Walking down this endless highway

(Ember, Alain and Tesla are running across a grassy field towards the rising sun)

With nothing but my friends beside me

(Brock is prancing around a bunch of colorful cutouts of women with hearts in his eyes as he carries a boutique of flowers. He kneels down in front of a red one. The cutout flips to reveal Munchlax who chomps on the flowers. Brock cries. May and Max shrug.)

We'll never give in, we'll never rest

(May throws a Pokéball. Drew and Harley are split behind her. Munchlax, Combusken, and Squirtle run across the screen. Combusken stops and Squirtle launches a Water Gun attack at Combusken.)

Advanced Battle is the ultimate test

(Groudon launches an attack. Kyogre rises up from the sea. Mew flies by. Suicune, Raikou, and Entei jump on the stone columns as they're being hit. Latias and Latios fly besides them. Rayquaza flies out from the smoke)

From the earth, the land
The sea and sky

(Grass, Psychic, Ice, and Normal type Pokémon are playing around a forest. Celebi flies by. Water Pokémon are swimming in the ocean with some Flying type Pokémon flying over them. Fire, Flying, Ground, Electric and Dark type Pokémon are running across the fields.)

They can never win, but they sure can try

(Tesla slams into Registeel. Percy slams into Regice. Regirock launches a Thunderbolt attack and it misses Ember and Alain. Ember and Alain salutes with two fingers as they smile)

(Jessie, James, Wobbuffet, Dustox, Meowth, Seviper, Cacnea, Chimecho and Mime Jr. dance in sync. Weavile passes by them which surprises them)

(Ember, Alain and Tesla are standing on top of a ruin and camera zooms out as they look towards the sky. Deoxy flies past them.)

From the stars and the ancient past

(Deoxy flies with Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Ho-Oh flies past them.)

They come to play, but they'll never last

(The silhouette of Lucy appears followed by Tucker and then Spenser)

(Noland, Greta, Tucker and the silhouettes of the other Battle Frontier Brains appear with the Battle Frontier Symbol behind them. Ember and Alain are in facing against them.)

After the meeting Solana, the gang ran into another excitement before they reached Fuchsia City. They visited a ninja school and the students there said that someone had been stealing their berries. In the end though it had just been Jessie, James and Meowth and of course the gang did their usual thing of making them blast off. The other bit of excitement was ten wild baby Bonslys lived in the area. The Bonslys were alone and had no one to look after them, and that gave Brock an idea. He captured all ten of the baby Bonslys, sent nine of them to his brothers and sisters and one for himself. Then the gang left the ninja school and went on their way.

After arriving in Fuchsia City, May had a surprise. Her egg hatched into an Eevee and May was happy. Also her other Eevee had evolved into Sylveon. Max's Cyndaquil evolved into Quilava and Totodile into Croconaw.

After resting in Fuchsia City, Ember wished to visit the Fuchsia Gym. She called this a chance to see Koga and his sister Aya again. The others called that a great idea, especially Max since he wanted to see the gym. Ember and Brock remembered the way to the gym, so this time they didn't get lost on the way there.

"Oh there is something you should know about the gym." Ember warned Alain, May and Max. Ember and Brock explained about the dangerous traps they went through on their last visit at Fuchsia Gym.

"Whoa," Max commented, "I have heard that the Fuchsia gym leader is a ninja, but seriously that sounds a bit off the top."

"Yes, so we must be very careful when we enter the gym." Brock warned.

When they got there, Aya was standing outside. "Oh Ember, Brock," she said, "I didn't expect to see you here."

"It's been a while, Aya." Ember greeted.

She introduced Aya to Alain, May and Max. Then an Inteleon appeared beside Aya.

"Oh and this is my good friend, Inteleon." Aya introduced.

Inteleon nodded her head in greeting.

"Wow! Where did you get a Inteleon?" Max beamed.

"Well Ember gave me one of her Inteleon and Greninja's children to me and my brother. I was given a Sobble and my brother was given a Froakie." Aya responded.

"How is his Greninja, Aya?" Ember questioned.

"He's doing well. He's always following my brother around." Aya answered.

"How's Koga anyway?" Brock asked.

"He's been well," Aya replied, "as the matter of fact, something really good as happened to him."

"Really, what's happened?" Alain asked, curious.

Aya smiled, "Come on in and he can tell you himself." she said.

The gang was curious to know what Aya meant so they followed her into the gym.

Aya showed the way so that the gang wouldn't fall into any traps. When they reached the room, where the battlefield was, there was a surprise waiting for them in there.

In there were three people standing with Koga and his Greninja on the battlefield of the gym. There was a purpled haired man, wearing a suit and a mask over his eyes, a woman with silver-blue hair, and another man with brown hair and he looked very muscular.

"No way!" Max gasped, "It's Will, Karen and Rocky of the Elite Four in Johto!"

"Max is right." Brock confirmed.

Ember, Misty and Brock never saw them while they were in Johto, but they saw them in the papers before.

"Ah Ember, it has been a while." Koga greeted, once he saw the gang.

"It's nice seeing you again Koga. You too, Greninja." Ember greeted back.

Greninja nodded in greeting.

"But what are the Elite Four members of Johto doing here?" Ember asked.

Koga smiled, "Because I'm a new member of the Elite Four in Johto." he replied. Koga explained that about a year he got promoted to be a new member of the Elite Four because the other member had left to settle down with his family. Koga was the Poison type member of the Elite Four, Will was Psychic, Karen was Dark and Rocky was Rock.

"We've heard about you kids from Koga and the Elite Four members of Kanto and Hoenn." Karen stated.

"Especially you Ember," Will said, "Lance told us of how you helped stop Team Rocket in Johto and Team Aqua and Magma in Hoenn."

Ember smiled in embarrassment. "I find it a pity though that Misty, Brock and I didn't get to meet you all when we were in Johto. The only Kanto Elite Four member we haven't met is Bruno." she admitted.

"Never mind that," Rocky assured her, "we have met now."

"I have a feeling you'll meet Bruno soon enough." Will assured her.

"So Koga," Brock spoke up, "if you're a Johto Elite Four member, who's running the gym now?"

"I am." said a voice from behind the gang.

The voice belonged to a purple haired girl, dressed up in a ninja outfit. Koga introduced the girl; her name was Janine, and she was his daughter.

"I take it you use Poison type Pokémon too Janine?" Ember asked.

"Oh yes, I love Poison type Pokémon like father does," Janine replied, "and I'm happy being the new gym leader the Fuchsia City. Actually Ember, if it's okay with you I would like to battle you. I've heard from father and aunt Aya about what a strong trainer you are, so I wish to battle you to see how strong you are."

Ember saw nothing wrong with that and agreed. The others thought it would be great to see how Janine battled, and Will, Karen and Rocky wanted to see the battle too.

So Ember and Janine got ready for battling, the gang and the Elite Four watched from the side and Aya became the referee. The battle was to be a one-on-one battle. Ember called out Tesla to battle and Janine called out an Ariados to battle.

"Let's go Tesla! Use Thunder Shock!" TEsla launched her electrical attack at Ariados.

"Use String Shot to dodge Ariados!" Ariados used String Shot and went up to the ceiling, dodging Tesla's Thunder Shock.

"Spider web Ariados!" Ariados made spider webs on the ceiling and jumped from one spider web to another.

Tesla watched Ariados jump from web to web.

"Use Swift, Tesla!" Tesla fired swift attack towards the ceiling; the stars broke the webs and struck Ariados, making it fall back onto the ground.

"Ariados, use Night Shade!" Ariados fired night shade towards Tesla.

"Dodge that with Quick Attack, Tesla!" Tesla dodged the Night Shade and slammed into Ariados.

"Use Poison Sting, Ariados!" Janine ordered.

"Use Thunder Shock, Tesla!" Tesla dodged Ariados' Poison Sting attack and electrocuted it with Thunder Shock. "Finish this with Iron Tail, Tesla!" Tesla whacked Ariados hard with Iron Tail and Ariados fell down in defeat.

So Ember was the winner of the battle.

Janine returned her Ariados and walked up to Ember. "Father and aunt Aya were right about you Ember, you are one strong trainer." she said.

"You're strong too, Janine." Ember assured her.

Ember felt that Janine was a good gym leader for the Fuchsia Gym. She knew that Janine would make her father proud. Not to mention that Koga will be a great Elite Four member.

"I hope we will get to battle you in the future kid." Rocky wished.

"I hope so too." Ember agreed.

The truth is that Ember wished she could challenge the Elite Four, but she was mostly busy gym battles and contests. Maybe she'll challenge them after she competes in all of the leagues.

With the battle over, the gang decided it was time to leave. They said goodbye to Koga, Aya, Janine, Will, Rocky and Karen and went on their way to the Battle Pike where Ember and Alain can receive their fourth symbol.
