Ebenezer Dib: Well, I suppose so, but I'll dock you half a day's pay.
(Ebenezer Dib flips through into his account book)
Ebenezer Dib: Heh, heh, heh. Ah, money, money, money!
(Suddenly there was a knock at there door. The door opens and It was Dib's cheery friend, Keef)
Keef: Merry Christmas, Best Friend Dib!
Ebenezer Dib: Bah, humbug! This a work day, you know.
Keef: Aw, come on. I've come to invite you to Christmas dinner.
Ebenezer Dib: Oh, I suppose you're going to have a plump goose with chestnut dressing.
Keef: Yes.
Ebenezer Dib: And will we have plum pudding and lemon sauce?
Keef: Yes.
Ebenezer Dib: With roast squab and pickled raisins?
Keef: Yes! Yes! Will you come?
Ebenezer Dib: Are you death, man? You know I can't eat that stuff, Out, out, out!
Veronica Cratchit: But, sir, Master Keef has brought us a Christmas wreath. May I hang it on our door?
Ebenezer Dib: You do and I'll hang one on you!
Keef: Here's your gift and Merry Christmas.
(But Dib jammed the the wreath down over his friend's head)
Ebenezer Dib: And a bah humbug to you!
Narrator: It was clear, Ebenezer Dib was not fond of Christmas.
Ebenezer Dib: One hundred and one, one hundred and two, one hundred three...
(The door began to knock, interrupted him from his counting)
Ebenezer Dib: *Groans* Who is it this time?!
(The door opens and two ponies, Rainbow Dash and Rarity, stood up shivering from the cold)
Rainbow Dash: Sir, we are soliciting funds for the, ah, indigent and destitute.
Ebenezer Dib: For what?
Rarity: We're collecting for the poor.
Ebenezer Dib: Ooh. Well, you realize if you give money to the poor, then they won't be poor anymore, will they? And if they're not poor anymore, then you won't have to raise money for them anymore.
Rainbow Dash: Well, I suppose-
Ebenezer Dib: And if you don't have to raise money for them anymore, then you would be put out of a job. Oh, please, gentlemen! Don't ask me to put you out of a job, not on Christmas Eve.
Rarity: Oh, we wouldn't do that, Mr. Dib
Ebenezer Dib: All right, both of you. Out! Out! Out!
Rainbow Dash: Uh oh...
(Dib chased the ponies into the snow and slammed the door)
Ebenezer Dib: What's the world coming to, Cratchit? You work all your life to get money, and people want you to give it away.
Veronica Cratchit: Well, Mr. Dib. I guess it's time for me to go back to school and meet some of my friends.
Ebenezer Dib: Okay then, but be here early tomorrow, alright?
Veronica Cratchit: Thank you, Mr Dib and a bah hum- I mean... Merry Christmas!
(Veronica Cratchit leaves)
Ebenezer Dib: That's what I thought. Well, I'm leaving and it's closing time.
(Ebenezer Dib went out and closes the door and leaves the counting house)
Narrator: After closing time, Dib walked through the crowded streets, taking no notice of the merry people rushing home to their loved ones.
Ebenezer Dib: Look at all of the people having a great Christmas. Bah humbug!
(Ebenezer Dib arrived at his gloomy house)
Ebenezer Dib: Finally, I'm home. Now where is the keys?
(Ebenezer Dib tooks out the keys from his pocket)
Ebenezer Dib: Ah ha! There it is!
(Ebenezer Dib looked up at the door knocker and was shocked to discover that the door knocker was changed into the face of his sister, Gaz Marley)
Ebenezer Dib: Gaz Marley?
(Ebenezer Dib touched the door knocker)
Gaz Marley: WHOA!
(Ebenezer Dib stumbled back)
Ebenezer Dib: No, that can't be! Door knockers don't speak! it's simply a fragment of my imagination. Er, it's a fignation of my fagim... *Groans* Bah humbug!
(Ebenezer Dib went inside his house and went inside the room)
Ebenezer Dib: I better read a book then.
(Ebenezer Dib reads the book. Suddenly, the bell begin to ring)
Ebenezer Dib: Huh? That's strange. The bell isn't suppose to ring by itself!
(Suddenly, Ebenezer Dib hears some clanking sound)
Ebenezer Dib: Wait a second! Or maybe I'll be meeting my sister, Gaz Marley!
(the Ghost of Gaz Marly passed right through the door dragging her heavy chains. A cold chill ran through Dib's body-his teeth began to chatter, his knees began to knock, his eyes popped)
Ebenezer Dib: Gaz Marley, is that you?!
Gaz Marley: Yes! That's me! Remember me when I was alive, I was a cruel and mean business student like you?
Ebenezer Dib: Yes! I do remember you! But you died seven years ago!
Gaz Marley: Yes! I was dead due to my mean attitude!
Ebenezer Dib: What are these chains for?
Gaz Marley: Well, you know, I was forced to wear these chains because of my cruelness! You will end up the same fate as me!
Ebenezer Dib: Oh no! Please, tell me! What I'm going to do?!
Gaz Marley: Now that you've finished the number, I'd like to talk to you. Tonight you will be visited by three spirits. Listen to them. Do what they say, or chains will be heavier than mine!
(Gaz Marley disappeared after her warning)
Ebenezer Dib: Spirits? I don't believe in spirits! Bah humbug! I need to get some rest!
(Ebenezer Dib lies down and fell asleep)
Boo Berry: Ebenezer Dib...
(Ebenezer Dib woke up)
Ebenezer Dib: Who's there?!
(Ebenezer Dib jumps out of bed)
Ebenezer Dib: Who are you?
Boo Berry: I'm Boo Berry, and I'm the Ghost of Christmas Past. Come on, Dib. It's time to go.
(The door magically opens)
Ebenezer Dib: I'm not going out there. I'll fall! Besides that, I don't even know about the history of Christmas!
Boo Berry: Just hold on. We're going to visit your past. Plus, we're not just going to the past to learn about the holiday, we're going to learn about you!
(And with that, the two flew out over the darkened city)
(Boo Berry)
As a young thing, life sure is something.
You go making choices large and small.
Always growing like a seedling.
And playing is like dreaming.
And before you know it, big and tall.
And every little bitty choice you make.
Sends you down a path to who you are today.
So let's take a little trip down memory lane.
And see just what the past has to say.
Boo Berry: Aw, look how cute you were. Looks like you're not too upset it's Christmas Eve either.
The seeds of the past.
They grow pretty fast.
Just look at who you were back then.
The seeds, as they grow.
Look what they can show.
Reveal the truth time and again.
(Ebenezer Dib looks at his young seft dancing at the party)
Ebenezer Dib: That's me!
Boo Berry: Yes, that was before you became a miserable miser consumed by greed.
Ebenezer Dib: There's lovely Gretchen. Ah, I remember how much I was in love with her.
(With the snap of his fingers, Boo Berry brought them to Dib's old counting house)
Ebenezer Dib: That's my old counting house before I hired Veronica Cratchit!
Boo Berry: Yes. Why don't you take a peek at your own counting house?
Ebenezer Dib: Alright.
(Ebenezer Dib looked at young self again)
Young Ebenezer Dib: Nine thousand, nine hundred and seventy-two, nine thou...
Gretchen: Ebenezer. For years I've had this honeymoon cottage, Ebenezer. I've been waiting for you to keep your promise to marry me. Now I must know. Have you made your decision?
Young Ebenezer Dib: I have! Your last payment on the cottage was seven minutes late, I'm foreclosing the mortgage! You have make your choice, do it by yourself, or go and be a homeless woman and make nothing of yourself!
(Gretchen burst into tears and ran out)
(Boo Berry)
Then some distress, words so careless.
Standing there, you don't know what to do.
Feeling helpless, you can't make it hurt less.
So you go and change your point of view.
And in that moment, though you didn't know it.
Your defenses set up walls you built to last.
Leading to the person you've become today.
And the spell you're about to cast all comes from your past.
(Ebenezer Dib)
The seeds of the past.
We grow up so fast.
Some hurts never go away.
(Boo Berry)
The seeds, as they grow.
This we can't let go.
All tied to this one holiday.
Ebenezer Dib: Please, Spirit, take me home!
Boo Berry: Remember Dib, you loved gold more than that precious creature, and you lost her forever. You fashioned these memories yourself, yourself, yourself...
(Ebenezer Dib woke up)
Ebenezer Dib: AH! *Panting* Phew, it totally a nightmare.
(Suddenly, a tall shadow approach Ebenezer Dib)
Ebenezer Dib: Huh? Who are you?
Dee Dee: Ha ha ha! I'm Dee Dee, the Spirit of Christmas Present. I have filled the room with all of the good things that you withheld from your fellow girl. Look!
Ebenezer Dib: Whoa! Suckling pigs, fruit-cakes, mince pies, and a prune Danish to go! I didn't know that you have many stuffs in here!
Dee Dee: I know! That's why I'm a spirit!
Ebenezer Dib: I'm hungry. I gonna eat corned beef on rye!
Dee Dee: We have no time for that now. We have a long way to travel and we must fly. Take hold of my robe.
(Ebenezer Dib take the back of Dee Dee's robe)
Dee Dee: Uh, not back there, unless you want to fly tourist.
Ebenezer Dib: Alright. Fine! I will fly tourist!
Dee Dee: Great! Now I will show you how people celebrate Christmas!

Yes, the reason for the holiday Is quite easily found.
And the reason is to be with your friends!
Ebenezer Dib: Wait! That Veronica Cratchit's humble school!
Dee Dee: Yes! This where Veronica Cratchit and her friends celebrate Christmas!
Ebenezer Dib: But I thought they were sad!
Dee Dee: Do you think so? I'll show you!
(Dee Dee brings Ebenezer Dib and pointed to a black teenager named Gerald Johanssen)
Lunch Lady: Here's your scrawny holiday turkey.
Gerald Johanssen: Thanks!
(Gerald Johanssen carving the turkey)
Ebenezer Dib: What is that boy doing? Carving a canary?
Dee Dee: What would you expect with the meager wage you bestow upon him? Two shillings a day.
Veronica Cratchit: Let's not forget the man who made this glorious feast possible, Mr. Ebenezer Dib!
Arnold Shortman: What do you say, Gerald?
Gerald Johanssen: Well, Arnold, I say 'Thank you, Mr. Dib' and God bless us everyone!
Vivian Cratchit: Wow, Gerald, that was friendship is for. Right, Veronica?
Veronica Cratchit: Yes, Vivian. That's when Christmas is best friends forever!
(Ebenezer Dib suddenly became sad after hearing their words)
Ebenezer Dib: *Sigh* I know that. Christmas was our best friends. Right, Dee Dee?
(But Dee Dee has disappered)
Ebenezer Dib: Huh? Where did Dee Dee go? Dee Dee! Where are you?
(Ebenezer Dib looked up and was shocked to see The Ghost of Christmas Future)
Ebenezer Dib: Are you Zim, The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come?
Zim: *Only just nods his head*
Ebenezer Dib: C-can you tell me what happened here?
Zim: *Point at the table*
Veronica Cratchit: Oh, Gerald, he was the only friend we have. He had a crutch and he only sits by Arnold.
Arnold Shortman: Yes. He was my only friend.
(Ebenezer Dib suddenly got worried after hearing their words)
Ebenezer Dib: Spirit of Yet to Come, what does this mean? No, no, I didn't want this to be. I wanted Gerald Johanssen to get well. That sweet, darling boy.
(Zim holds Ebenezer Dib's hand and bring him to a graveyard)
Zim: *Pointed at two gravediggers named Charley and Harold*
Harold: That does it. Tamp it down tight, Charley.
Charley: You know, Harold, I never saw a funeral like this one.
Harold: Right, there was nobody about. No mourners, no friends, no one to shed a tear or bid him farewell.
(Harold and Charley left the graveyard. Ebenezer Dib walked closer)
Ebenezer Dib: Spirit! Whose lonely grave is this?
Zim: Why yours, Ebenezer-the richest man in the cemetery! Ha, ha, ha!
(Ebenezer Dib's tears began to fall off from his cheeks as he holds Zim by the robe)
Ebenezer Dib: Oh, no! I don't want my life to end this way. I want another chance! Spirit! I'll change my ways! I'll change! I'LL CHANGE!
(Ebenezer Dib woke up on the bed)
Ebenezer Dib: *Gasp* The Spirit! He never came back! I'm back in my own bed. it must-it is! It's Christmas Morning! Yes, I can be a new man. I will honor Christmas in my heart and keep it all the year.
(Ebenezer Dib opens the window)
Ebenezer Dib: Merry Christmas, everybody! What a glorious Christmas morning!
(Ebenezer Dib saw Rainbow Dash and Rarity collecting money for the poor)
Ebenezer Dib: Oh! I must give them money for the poor!
(Ebenezer Dib got dress and walked towards Rainbow Dash and Rarity)
Ebenezer Dib: Well, bless me, good morning, ladies. I've something for you. Here you are, one hundred gold pieces and not a penny more. Hee! Hee!
Rainbow Dash: Oh, thank you, Mr. Dib. And a Merry Christmas to you!
(Ebenezer Dib walked to Veronica Cratchit's school)
Veronica Cratchit: It's Mr. Dib!
Ebenezer Dib: Ha, ha, ha. Yes, it's Mr. Dib, and I've brought Christmas presents for you and all the students!
Students: Yay!
Veronica Cratchit: But Mr. Dib. I don't understand.
Ebenezer Dib: What do you mean, you don't understand? Why only yesterday you told me Christmas was a time for giving. Well, now I'll tell you what Christmas is: This a time that, once a year, men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely and celebrate the joy of the season! Let it be said that no one will ever keep Christmas as well as Ebenezer Dib!
Narrator: And that's how Dib has changed is ways. Merry Christmas to all.
Gerald Johanssen: And God bless us everyone!
