Hello, beautiful readers,
I HAVE GOOD NEWS! It has been a long time since I've posted or finished a work-in-progress fic. Years, for many of you (don't give up! I WILL finish). Some of you have been with me since Prophecy of Brothers when I was known as Chyckoo and Scarlet Willows.
I started writing and sharing fanfiction when I was 16. I'm now in my thirties. Some of you know that I have been through some serious hardship, including depression, anxiety, and PTSD. My husband and I have also struggled with poverty, disability, unemployment, infertility grief, and more trauma and loss than I care to recount. Not to mention isolation from the pandemic.
However, I have also done SO much healing and growing over the past decade! And especially over these last two years! Let me tell you, it has been hard work - a constant uphill battle. This has all affected my writing, of course. But I have endured, survived, cut off toxic relationships, moved to a safe neighborhood, cultivated a better growth mindset, made progress in therapy (EMDR & DBT for the win!), and been privileged to guide others in healing as well.
Your kind words of encouragement have meant the world to me. Seriously. Without you, I might not have had the courage to continue writing, or to share my work.

Last year, I became the founder and small business owner of Where Ns Meet, LLC, the writing umbrella for all my pen names and creative works. I am a minority entrepreneur: Disabled LGBTQ+ Woman. I have business expenses on top of financial struggle and medical expenses - we are still a low-income family far below the poverty line.
