Carissa once again walked in the direction Finn was pointing. She had defeated her high school bullies and that made her feel uneasy. What could be worse than them? She found out seconds later when three men suddenly appeared. Finn stepped up next to her and studied the men.
"Ex boyfriends of yours," he said.
"Randy, Seth and Dean," she said. "I don't wanna be here. I don't wanna be near them."
"Wanna go home?" He asked.
She was tempted to say yes but she knew she wouldn't get a second chance at saving Roman. She had to get through this. She shook her head no, blew out her breath, and stepped forward. All three men looked over at her.
"If it isn't Carissa," Randy smirked. "Your daddy issues ran so deep that you jumped on my dick the second you were out of that house. You went looking for a new daddy and found me. How I loved breaking you. You made it very easy for me. You were so eager to be loved. The things I would make you say. The things I would make you do. I was your first everything, and you took everything I had to give, and did everything I demanded of you. You were so scared to be left. I fucking loved controlling you."
Randy stepped up to her and ran the back of his hand down her cheek. She felt tears follow his fingers down, and it made him smirk.
"Come on, sweetheart. Call me daddy again. I'd love to hear it for old times' sake," he said.
"I don't want to," she whispered.
"I don't care what you want to," his eyes turned hard. "Call me daddy! Now, Carissa! Don't fucking make me mad. You know what happens when daddy gets mad. Don't make me get the belt."
She started shaking but she stood her ground. He was just one of three demons in this place with her. She saw movement and moved her eyes over to Seth who walked over to her. Once she had finally been free of Randy, she met Seth. He became another demon in her life.
"Come here," he said.
He whistled at her as if she was a dog. Through their entire relationship that was how he had seen her. Like a dog who had to follow his every command. She stood her ground. She was done taking commands from him.
"I said, come here!" He raised his voice. "Know your place, bitch!"
"My place isn't with you," she said.
"How dare you talk back to me? You will only speak when I tell you to speak!" He yelled.
He stomped towards her and leaned down so they were nose to nose. Those brown eyes of his were scary and dangerous to look at.
"Go on, bitch. Let me hear you. I dare you," he said.
She held her breath. She didn't dare to breathe when he was this angry. He smirked at her and took a step backwards.
"That's what I thought," he said. "Good girl."
More tears ran down her face. She saw movement again and turned her head to look at her last ex boyfriend Dean. Dean had promised to help her away from Seth, and too late she found out he was even worse. He casually walked towards her and she knew something was about to happen. He always did that. He remained calm on the outside while a fire was burning strong inside him. He always remained calm just long enough to get his hands on her. He stepped up to her, twisted that cruel, sideways smirk, and then his hand came flying out of nowhere. He backhanded her hard enough to tumble down. It burned like crazy. She turned her head and looked back at Finn.
"You didn't say they could touch me," she said.
"I also didn't say they couldn't," he said.
"This isn't fair," she said.
"I told you death doesn't play fair," he grinned. "How many times must I repeat that before you get it?"
Dean grabbed Carissa's arm and pulled her back up to stand. He kept holding on to her while Seth and Randy stepped up next to him. There they were, the three abusive ex boyfriends of her past, standing side by side, joining forces in taking her down.
"Call me daddy," Randy said. "Unless you want one of the spankings you don't like."
"Know your god damn place, bitch!" Seth growled.
"Look at me!" Dean grabbed her jaw in a tight grip. "If I catch you ever looking at another man again, I'm gonna break your motherfucking jaw. Am I making myself clear?"
Carissa's eyes moved back to Seth and Randy. Dean squeezed her jaw even tighter. She had to get free. She grabbed Dean's wrist, pulled his hand out fast, and sank her teeth into his fingers. He screamed as she bit down as hard as she could. She could taste his blood in her mouth. She let go and he took a couple of steps back while looking at his bleeding hand. She turned her head, spat out Dean's blood into Seth's face, and then looked at Randy.
"You ain't my fucking daddy!" She screamed. "I hate you! I hate all of you! Leave me the fuck alone! You will never control me again!"
She held her head up high and walked past them all. Their voices died at once, and she turned around to see only Finn was there.
"You sure have a type, my dear," he said.
"I never thought about it that way," she said.
"You should. Therapy would probably have worked wonders on you. There's still time for that," he said.
"I'll think about it later," she said. "I have to get to stage 5. I'm fucking scared, Finn."
"You're supposed to be," he chuckled.
