Chapter 28:
The math class was quiet, the test was easy, despite the fact that Aiden had to tutor half the fucking class, he was patient, and as always, when it comes to reading the scores, his palms sweat.
While his math teacher was passing out the results, Aiden was thinking back, back to when Kinsey threatened him, the election was just around the corner, and if Henry lose it, he's screwed.
The SGC would be exposed, he'd be exposed. Everything will slowly be destroyed.
As his test hits his desk, he sees his teacher smiling at him. Confused, he takes the test and sees the score.
A!
"Again, huh?". That was Stevie, who has a B-.
"Again.". He was grinning.
During lunch, Aiden and Stevie were laughing at some stupid joke, but Aiden was laughing so hard that he didn't notice Gabriela behind him, but if Gabriela was honest, she needed him distracted, for at that moment, her hand snaked over his side and squeezed his… you know.
Aiden jumps, "Jeez! You scared the shit out of me!" he stated. She merely slid in to sit next to him. "Sorry darling.".
But he smirks it off. "But judging by your reaction, you were surprised at what you were squeezing.". He was mocking her, but he found it adorable when she blushes. He kisses his cheek.
He looks over the tray, his reflection mocking him, but behind his reflection, he sees… her.
He breathes deeply, but Gabriela saw him, "You okay?".
"Yeah, I am fine.".
