It was finally morning in the Wooded Kingdom. Mario had woken up, yawning up a storm.

"Sleep well?" Cappy asked.

"Yes, thanks to you." Mario answered.

Cappy stated, "Glad I could help!"

Mario gave the Bonneton a smile. Cappy wanted to ask about what Mario was having a nightmare about. But he decided to let it go so they could press forward.

Mario asked, "Ready?"

Cappy seemed to have nodded. The two left the Odyssey and went into the Wooded Kingdom. It wasn't long before Mario and Cappy collected more Power Moons. They were in sync, Mario seemed to have noticed. They found the Broodals ship again and to their dismay, they were late again. They wound up fighting the blue one and won. They took the Multi Power Moon from him. When they got into the greenhouse, they were attacked by a UFO.

Cappy was taken back, "A UFO?! Are aliens real?!"

Mario wasn't too surprised, "As long as they aren't the Shroobs, we're good."

Cappy didn't get a chance to ask as the UFO started to attack them. Mario thought on his feet. He used his Firebrand in the tricky spots. Cappy helped as much as he could. After defeating the UFO, it had dropped a Multi Power Moon.

Cappy started to ask, "Shroobs...?"

Mario interrupted, "It's a long story... right now I don't think we have the time. We got to make up ground."

Cappy had to agree. They walked back to the Odyssey, put the Power Moons in, and off they flew.

Cappy stated, "To think that their precious Soiree Bouquet is stolen... We can't keep letting Bowser doing what he wants!"

Mario replied, "On that we agree."

Cappy started to say, "Well, we are headed to the Metro Kingdom..."

That's when the Odyssey shook.

Mario got to the window and looked at it, "Cappy, we found the ship!"

Cappy looked out the window too, "Oh yes!"

The Odyssey started to fly next to Bowser's ship. Bowser walked over to the side of the ship, seeing the Odyssey. He also saw Mario and Cappy on it. Bowser decided to take care of them in the Cloud Kingdom. Mario felt like he was ready to save Peach and Tiara. It was a long fight but Mario and Cappy managed to defeat the Koopa King. Bowser flew backwards, hitting the ship and falling down onto it. It didn't take Bowser long to recover.

Bowser told the minions, "Get them!"

That's when ammunition fired from Bowser's ship fired towards Mario and Cappy. The two of them fled but the ammunition hit where the Odyssey was. Mario, Cappy, and the Odyssey all fell through the clouds.

Peach cried out, "MARIO!"

Tiara cried out too, "CAPPY!"

When Mario finally came to, he saw that they had landed in the Lost Kingdom.

"Cappy...?" Mario asked, a bit weak.

Cappy appeared to him, "I'm here... I'm okay..."

Mario breathed a sigh of relief but then turned to the Odyssey.

He admitted, "But the Odyssey isn't..."

Cappy took a look and saw the Odyssey was badly damaged. The Bonneton flew over to it and looked over the damage.

Cappy reported, "Nothing too serious. But we need to get more Power Moons to get it up and running again."

Mario told Cappy, "Then let's get to looking!"

Cappy went back to being Mario's hat as they began their search.

Meanwhile, Violet and Red were catching up. The Toad frowned hearing that King Boo had returned.

"That's not good." Red remarked.

Violet couldn't help but agree. That's when they got to the elevator. Red got on, looking at her.

Violet instructed, "Once you get to the basement, find Elvin in the garage."

Red asked, "What about you?"

Violet answered, "I'm gonna get to the second floor and clear out the ghosts there."

Red nodded, though a bit sadly. He didn't want to leave Violet alone but she was the only one that knew what she was doing. With that, the sacred violet ice sent the Toad down to the basement. It didn't take long for the elevator to get back to her. She entered and pressed the 2 button. Once she got to the second floor, Spettro was there waiting for her.

Violet told the ghost pup, "Ready!"

Spettro agreed, [Me too!]

Violet giggled as she used her Aurora Nine to clear their path. Violet went through the door towards the kitchen, where Spettro started sniffing some cheese. Spettro grabbed the cheese and went through the doors to the dining area. Violet opened the doors and saw Spettro going for the bread sticks.

Violet admitted, "Okay that looks delicious."

Spettro wagged his tail, [You don't want any?]

Violet politely shook her head no. She wasn't too hungry. The Polterpup grabbed a bread stick in its mouth and went into the kitchen. Violet was about to follow when they noticed some ghosts sitting at a table. The ghosts turned, seeing the sacred violet ice, and started to attack. Violet quickly froze some of the ghosts with her Aurora Nine. She caught them quick. Eventually she had cleared out the dining room.

Violet looked, "That's got to be the kitchen."

Spettro stated, [I smell smoke coming from there.]

Violet noticed it too, especially when she went into the kitchen. She summoned Goolet and they started to blow away the smoke. As soon as the smoke was gone, Violet saw a ghost chef and another painting.

Blue.

Before Violet could react, the chef saw them first. He roared at them. Violet went to work. She knew that she couldn't blind him with the Stroboscope. He had the frying pan in his hand. So she used her Aurora Nine to distract him. It was enough so she could wrangle him. Violet kept at it and she managed to capture him at long last. Violet celebrated as Spettro barked happily. The elevator button landed in the sink. Before she went over to the sink, she used the Dark Light on the painting. Blue was restored to normal and saw Violet.

"Violet? Spettro?" Blue asked.

Violet answered, "Yeah, are you okay?"

Blue nodded, "Yes thank you."

Violet nodded as she escorted Blue to the elevator. She told him the same thing she told Yellow previously. Once she got back to the kitchen, she noticed a mouse had gotten the elevator button.

Violet moaned, "Crud!"

It took Violet a while. When she was able to catch up with the mouse, she flashed it. But another mouse took the button. Violet groaned louder this time, seeing the mouse in the hallway. It saw Violet and went into a hole on the right side of the hall. The sacred violet ice followed, discovering a pool hall. The mouse ran behind some lockers, where some of the balls were stored.

Violet headed to the lockers when all of the sudden she was attacked by more ghosts. She got to work. Violet froze some ghosts. Once they were frozen, she quickly captured the ghosts.

Violet joked, "And that's what I call freezer burn."

Spettro groaned, [Bad joke.]

Violet smiled as she went for the middle locker. She froze the locker and destroyed it. Out came the mouse and it ran off again. She headed out of the pool hall, went down the hallway and went right. The mouse went into a mouse hole. Violet tried to open the door near it but it was blocked. She went into the other bathroom. Violet looked around. Violet took out a vent with her Aurora Nine, allowing Goolet to investigate the other bathroom.

Goolet managed to find the mouse with its family. She managed to flash them and got the button back from them. She went back through the pipe and returned back to the Poltergest G-00. Violet grabbed up the 4 button and celebrated.

"I got it back!" She gushed.

Spettro cheered, [Hooray!]

Wishmaker1028: One day i would like to do a story where I do the Shroob invasion and Super Star Saga. But that won't come out until way later! For now, please read and review! And always think outside of the box!
