I was up and alert after my first night here in the castle on Valinor. The sleep that I had was more than enough to keep me rested as I also had to go on my next mission. It had been three days since my arrival as I was happy to have the castles on the Order's main planets in synch together. It was a lot, but we all had to pull our weight as we were still fighting the Executive Division in this ongoing war. It had been a year since it was started up by Tobias Wetzel as our enemies' primal lust for my raw power was getting out of control. I never forgot about how I nearly died at the hands of General Arbogast in Trainfell as I couldn't let all those bad memories get the better of me. The room I was in was on the top floor as I was comfortable in a futon that was soft for me. Getting up, I saw Reiko still sleeping in our bed as I wanted to give her a kiss before going on my mission.
"I love you…," I said to her as I kissed her face.
I covered her up a little more in the blankets on the futon as I was up on my feet. Going towards the bathroom in our room, I was ready to take a shower as I stripped off my clothes and stepped into it while turning on the hot water. Cleaning myself thoroughly, I was feeling refreshed as I enjoyed the feel of the hot water all over me. Just as I was about to finish up, I heard the toilet flushing as I felt the water getting hotter to the point of me turning it off. Anger flooded me as I stepped out of the shower and dried myself with a towel while wrapping it around my waist. It wasn't long until I spotted Dean standing near the toilet as he was grinning like a Cheshire cat. I wanted to clock him, but I stayed my hand as I didn't want to cause a ruckus while Reiko was still asleep.
"It never gets old, does it?" I said.
"It's about time that I came here to bring your ass to Shiganshina," said Dean.
"You're really pushing it! You're supposed to be with your unit there, not shirk your duties as captain in your squad of the Hunter Corps!"
"I travelled here through the room with the red rubber ball and after hearing all the crap that has happened under my nose, I've been through the ringer since Reuben took over as Medic General of the Medical Corps. With Kazuo dead and other multiple attempts on your life, I even got chewed out by Seto in which she had to deal with a vampire who mistaked you for your past self."
"Seto shouldn't be in butting in my business when there are others who are in need." I went to the changing screen as I put on my clothes. "As for the vampire who came by surprise, I noticed the surveillance that was given to me by Bruce in which he was looking for his fellow vampires, only to fall in after the surge of raw power blasted into the sky."
"You must've been busy, haven't you, Sammy?"
"Reiko's still asleep, Dean. Neither one of us aren't waking her up."
"Too late. She got up while you were taking a shower just to make breakfast for everyone. Now, if you don't mind, you should get to Shiganshina after you get some breakfast."
I reluctantly followed Dean out of the bathroom of my room as we left into the hall where the elevator was. Stepping into it, we took it down to where one of the dining areas were as we saw Reiko and the others eating breakfast. I was also hungry as I noticed Reiko bringing me a basket of food to take with me. She was aware that I had to go on my mission as I didn't want to leave her right now, but I had no choice right now.
"I don't want to leave you right now," I said.
"Brother is worried about you, Sammy," said Reiko as she saw me take the picnic basket. "You should at least visit him and his troops."
"I don't feel like-"
"Not another word, Sammy." I see Reiko place a finger to my lips. "You do too much for us, for you should also see Brother and his troops on Shiganshina as well."
And so, I followed Dean out of the dining area as we left towards the elevator to the basement floor. By the time we stepped out of it, we saw a familiar room as it was none other than the one with the red rubber ball. Closing the door behind us, we saw the ball glowing as we were ready to go towards our location. By the time we got there, we opened up the door as we were in a different town. I knew of it to be a familiar one as it was none other than Mithrandir due to the empty mines that were there. Dean was happy to return to his unit as he sat down on a bench. What we also didn't know was that I spotted Nibori with a picnic basket in her hands as she also had Kevin with her. Both of them were here to aid me as they were here to make sure that I was kept safe.
"It's been a year since I came here," I said.
"So, this is Shiganshina," said Nibori as she was holding the picnic basket.
"Home sweet home, I guess," said Kevin.
"This place is more like a ghost town."
"This is one of many towns here on Shiganshina," I said. "It hasn't changed a bit the last time I came here with my family."
"You lived here for a while, didn't you?"
"Yes, but I lived in the Dabb Mountains for six months. As for this town we're in, it has a history. Mithrandir was once a mining town for years. Afterwards, it went briefly bust when the mine was empty, but the people still thrived with other businesses. We're standing at the train station, which goes to Yukishiro where the Dabb Mountains are located at. It's also the capital of the Wintry Plains in which is the gateway to where we need to get to."
"Hey, instead of taking the train, we should cruise to the Dabb Mountains," said Dean as he got up from the bench. "The tracks are still there, but we can rest our legs before meeting with the rest of the troops."
I saw Dean walk towards an area next to the train station as he was seeing a small lake that was there. I followed him there as I saw the Impala parked near it. With the summer air warming up, I felt the breeze as it blew my silver hair everywhere. It wasn't long until I saw Dean laying on the hood of the Impala as he was staring at the sky surrounded by a few clouds. He had his reasons to be here with his unit as he was still fighting the war that was started by the Executive Division, for it wasn't over yet.
"Hop a squat, Sammy," he said to me.
"You're supposed to be on duty," I said as I sat down on the hood of the Impala.
"You've seen busy after all the crap that happened."
"I know…" I laid down on the hood of the Impala as I was staring at the billowing clouds in the sky.
"You miss Kazuo, don't you?"
"He's been with us since the beginning, Dean. When he died from the complications that stemmed from the Brandings of God, he was trying his hardest to protect me since day one."
"It's gonna be one hell of a shit show now that he bought the hospital…"
"There's still hope in the Medical Corps now that Reuben's calling the shots. When you came to get me and my family off this planet in the Kurokage, I gave him the extra load with all those times I ended up being in the sickbay. I… really felt frail being in there…" I felt my voice breaking as it choked out a sob. "I felt helpless because of the mental state I was in and I never meant to put Reuben through the ringer."
"But you didn't. Those times of dealing with you in the sickbay made him more compassionate about dealing with the mental health from those who have suffered on the battlefield. You gave him an edge, Sam. You should've seen him sending in some of the members of the Medical Corps tending to the sick and wounded. Hell, he's got it in the bag the moment he even made some of the new recruits focus on their counseling to those who suffered from trauma and other mental ailments. For a while, he's been known as the Iron Healer who was under the tutelage of that dickbag, Yoichi Yano, until Kazuo took the reins. And you say that there is no good in what you, but you came through in many ways than one."
I sat up as I felt tears streaming down my cheeks. I was overwhelmed by the memories of being in the sickbay as I couldn't help it when I began to cry the moment I felt a little too vulnerable. With dusk settling in, we had to return to the Dabb Mountains in which we were ready to leave Mithrandir and go on our way. Just as we were about to do so, I noticed a drop of rain falling as it ended up becoming a cloudburst. More rain began to pour as we had to find shelter before it was too late. Even Kevin and Nibori noticed the rain as they gathered up the picnic baskets and followed us to an inn that was next to the train station. The weather change was something that we never noticed before as it was also something that was unexpected, for it was there after all…
Later on in the evening, I was in my room at the inn as I was in my nightclothes after getting a bath earlier. I saw the rain continuing to pour as the cloudburst didn't stop anytime soon. Sitting in a rocking chair, I saw the rain falling from outside as I decided to go out of my room and enter downstairs to the living room. I spotted Nibori looking at some books as she knew of them to be part of the Supernatural series. I never expected her to be an avid fan of the books as I noticed her begin to read one of them in which it had a cover of my past self and Dean dressed as vaudeville performers. She was more than glad to read it as she never saw it up front until now, for she was no stranger into seeing those books that once appeared in her old line of work. Even Kevin was in here as he was busy digging into the food that Reiko baked for us in that picnic basket in which he dug out a container full of taiyaki that was stuffed with azuki beans, for he was hungry after a long day. We were all here as we had shelter from the rain, for we would depart in the morning soon enough.
"I take it that you're reading Fan Fiction," I said as I saw Nibori reading.
"It's a book that I never read before," she said.
"The book itself details the Winchesters of Old and their involvement with a musical based on their lives."
"It's like what happened in The Monster at the End of this Book when the brothers confront Chuck Shurley for the first time."
"The Supernatural books are a huge hit in which there's the popular Chronicles of the Order series," said Kevin. "I even found two of books from The Winchesters that were written by Cortese Padalecki that were brought here recently."
"As soon as the rain clears, we can leave in the morning."
"It's weird that it's sunny one time and rainy the next. We never saw this coming."
I saw the rain continuing to pour from outside as I saw the clouds covering the moon. I wanted the weather to go away as I ended up feeling faint in which I felt a stabbing pain in my head. Nibori spotted me clutching at my head as she noticed blood coming out of my nose. It was too much for me as I ended losing consciousness the moment I fell onto the floor. Something was wrong with me as Nibori put down her book and went towards me in which she felt the pulse in my neck. She had to alert Dean right away as I was not doing too well, for this was all too much right now…
I found myself in an old ship as I noticed it to be an old Draaza derelict. It was old with care as I wanted to find out what was there. The place itself was something that I never saw before as it was a place that was left undiscovered until now. Just as I was about to go further, I heard the sound of scratching on the metal walls as I peeked through the door. My heart sank as I saw several Askradi sniffing out their prey in which I had to get out of there immediately. Just as I was about to do so, I saw Demon Dean standing in front of me as he had a knife in his hand. He was itching to kill me as I had to flee, but was lifted up and pinned against the wall.
"How's it goin', Sammy?" I heard Demon Dean say to me as his eyes flashed black. "It appears that you reached god status, but not enough to get your ass out of danger. I just had to see you suffer to the point of your brother unable to save you this time."
"Dean will come for me, I swear of it!" I said as I had blood coming out of my nose.
"Oh, he'll come for you…, when he sees the Askradi gobble up the main course, that is." He opens up the door to see some Askradi emerge it. "Supper time, boys! It's time to feast all you want!"
I saw the Askradi running towards me as I felt them tearing and chewing at my flesh. They were eating me alive as I was screaming in pain. They were chewing me up. They were killing me as I watched Demon Dean standing there with a smile on his face until I woke up in the back seat of the Impala shaking feverishly. Waking up, I was sitting next to Nibori as she was concerned about what was happening to me, for this was something wrong indeed.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"We left Mithrandir not too long ago," said Nibori.
"How long was I out?"
"You were out for the rest of the night," said Kevin as he was in the passenger's side.
"We're heading towards Yukishiro with the car, which is better than taking the train," said Dean as he was on the driver's side. "As soon as we get there, we can see Magda and the others with some breakfast."
"And the food that Reiko packed in the baskets?"
"They're in the trunk, but at least I pilfered a container of taiyaki just to tide us over," said Nibori as she gave me one. "You need to eat something, Sam. If not, then Dean will stop the car and kick your ass."
I reluctantly agreed as I began to eat at the taiyaki that Reiko baked for us. The taste of it was good as I found that what I was eating didn't have any azuki bean past in it, but some blackberry jam and vanilla custard that was stuffed in it. I was in heaven with it as I finished eating the taiyaki that I had. Looking out the window, I saw the structure of Yukishiro in the distance as I spotted the Dabb Mountains above it. I remembered my stay on Shiganshina as I never expected to see it once again in which I had fond memories of my stay there.
"As soon as we stop the car in Yukishiro, the better we go up the stairway to the mountain trail up there," said Dean as he was still driving. "The Hunter Corps made their base here in that town and the Dabb Mountains in which we are still on alert for the Executive Division's soldiers that have been causing panic in other places."
"It's been two years since I came here," I said.
"There's a Draaza ship in the mountains," said Nibori as she spotted it.
"That ship served as the slug roe home that Reiko and I stayed in along with the children. Now that the Hunter Corps are there, they have it as their main base of operations."
"Dean saw your journal," said Kevin. "Thankfully, your description of the Dabb Mountains and the areas in it have been useful so far."
"That's good to hear…" I began to feel tired as I was starting to feel unwell. "It's been a long time since I came here to Shiganshina…"
"Are you alright?" asked Nibori.
"He's tired, but as soon as we get to the base, the better," said Dean.
The Impala continued to drive on the road as we were going towards Yukishiro in which we parked next to a Medical Corps ship. I had a feeling that they would be here as I stepped out of the passenger's side and followed Dean and the others up the stairs where the Dabb Mountains were. Stopping for a breather, I gathered up my long silver hair and tied it into a bun on the bottom as I continued to walk upstairs. By the time we reached the top where the slug roe home was, I noticed Magda and Tansu seeing us coming as they were glad that we were here for the time being. Dean, on the other hand, scooped up Tansu as he was glad to see her in which he was also ready to see his other children that were there. I saw my old slug roe home to be remodeled and reinforced as I spotted two members of the Hunter Corps on guard. I never expected to see this place to be made into a base before until now as I was the last one to reach the top where the entrance of the slug roe home was.
"This Draaza ship is huge, but broken," said Nibori as she saw the slug roe home embedded in the volcano. "It's a shame that I can't salvage it, but it's best not to do so because of the lava."
"You must be Nibori T'Chauli," said Magda as she was coming towards the entrance. "I take it that you used to work at the White Rosalia Salvaging Company."
"I've seen a ship like this, but it had monsters in it."
"This takes me back," I said as I was feeling more tired than normal in which I walked to the entrance. "I had fond memories here."
"It's been a while, Sam," said Magda. "Mason kept saying that you would show up after he got word about Reuben being top dog in the Medical Corps."
"It's been two years since my stay here…" I began to feel my knees buckle as I was trying to maintain my balance. "I even found Gyatso here before I left with you guys…"
"Are you feeling alright, Sam?"
I felt faint as I was caught by Kevin who was behind me. When we all entered into the slug roe home, we found it to be much bigger than last time as there was a surveillance system installed to monitor suspicious activity. When I sat down on a chair, I was feeling dizzy as I felt beads of sweat all over my face. I was not doing too well as I spotted Reuben approaching the moment he had his medical bag in his hands. He saw me to be too tired as he had a gut feeling that I wasn't in fine fettle after that long walk up to the slug roe home.
"You overdid it again, Sam," I heard him say as he got out his stethoscope. "I've been the new Medic General of the Medical Corps and you're already starting to develop a fever?" I felt the diaphragm part of the stethoscope touch my chest beneath my clothes. "Patient's heartbeat is erratic again."
"I had a nightmare," I said.
"I need you to come to the infirmary immediately, Sam. You've become more exhausted than normal and it's worrying me."
"Alright, I'll do it…"
I got up as I saw Kevin help me out of the living room and towards a different room that I never saw before. It was like a sickbay as I saw multiple beds lined up on both sides. When I was carted towards an examination table, I was laid down as I noticed Mason doing chart work while he turned on the machine in order to read my vitals. I was a wreck after I had that vision as I was staring at the walls that were behind the scanner. The fear I had became troubling as the image of Demon Dean refused to go away. I was more scared of what would happen to me as I briefly sat up to expect some scratching in the walls, but to no avail.
"You look nervous as a warg fleeing from an oxalan," said Mason as he was seeing the readings on the scanner. "The last time we met, we used some prosthetics on Castiel to the point of having infused onto him back in Zetian on Drakonus."
"I'm back to being a guinea pig again," I said.
"Don't try to move, Sam," said Reuben. "Your vitals have been erratic, but stable. As for what's going on all over, you shouldn't use your raw power too much."
"My body is going through the changes of being a god, but I still have a long way to go."
"You remind me of Deejatra, who's still shaken after confronting her mother on Trost," said Mason.
"It was because her mother was possessed by a demon. Thankfully, I exorcised it before it did more damage." I started to sit up as I saw Reuben gently push me back down on the examination table. "As for the one who hides behinds the scenes, he is a much crafty one. As for the Executive Division, they're still crafting the artificial dolls that Darbus Toller built and doing their dirty work."
I saw the readings on the scanner stabilize as I was starting to feel tired. Still, the long way to the mountain wore me out as I closed my eyes. Sleep was building up on me as I was happy to return to the Dabb Mountains in which it has changed a lot since my absence. My entire body was also aching from the long walk as I was dreaming of the future, for it was right in front of me the whole time…
Nibori was exploring the inner workings of the volcano as she saw the smelter oven cooking some meat for dinner. The smell of turducken was heavenly, but Nibori had to wait for a little longer as she was still curious about the insides of the volcano in the Dabb Mountains. To her avid curiosity, she saw a trail that was uncovered as she followed it in which she saw the rest of the Draaza ship encased in rock and cooled molten lava over the centuries. Seeing the scraps that were hanging out, she saw it to be very ancient as she noticed a set of doors that were opened in which she spotted a laboratory that had an examination table in the middle. What she didn't expect was that there was a needle that was made for a catheter attached to an old cylindrical tube that was designed for something other than restraining patients from using the toilet. To her shock, she saw an empty room that was known to store frozen seeds and eggs from Draaza and other humanoid species in which she spotted an empty locker that had the words, "S. Winchester; 2012" etched into it as she stumbled to the past that was somehow linked to me.
"What really happened here?" she asked to herself as she saw the empty vials that were once used for storing semen on the floor. "Whoever had a hand into artificially inseminating Sam's past self must have been worried to the extreme."
Nibori saw a recording device near one of the lockers as she picked it up. Pressing the button, she saw an image of a Draaza scientist picking up one of the vials that was once stored as she went towards the examination table the moment she laid down with her robe exposing her lower part. Nibori was aware that the scientist was desperate as she saw her on screen artificially inseminating herself with the thawed seed that she procured, for this was something that was never expected to be seen until now.
"Subject's semen is secure," said the scientist on screen. "My body has now accepted such a strong seed from the subject that was taken after the fall of Dick Roman. Therefore, it has adapted to such a great seed in which my wife and I will procure until we reach further planets. As soon as we reach Mars to the rendezvous point, the better we reach the planets that are linked to the golden age that the subject is linked to, despite his flaws that caused him to help start the Apocalypse."
Nibori turned off the recording device as she was eager to show it to anyone in the Order. Just as she was about to do so, she felt a gun pointed to her back as she stood still. The man behind her was not about to let her go as he was concerned about preserving what was once part of the Draaza ship, for he refused to let her leave.
"Hands on your head," he said.
"Look, whoever you are, I don't have my laser rifle with me, so I suggest that you put your pea shooter away," said Nibori as she obeyed her assailant.
"You're not a Draaza, are you?"
"No, but I'm just a scrapper who used to work at the White Rosalia Salvaging Company in which I saw a ship like this one, only to see monsters crawling all over it."
"State your name."
"My name's Nibori T'Chauli and I'm a Mirkosian. And you?"
"My name's Benjamin Isaac Braeden, son of Lisa Braeden. I woke up when those people dressed in black occupied this place. I saw the captain of that unit that happens to be the man who once dated my mother. After that, we lost our memories of him, only to be restored by some guy who is dressed up like he's Mr. Rogers."
"I've read the Supernatural books in which the Dean Winchester of Old had no other choice but to have your memories erased just to protect you and your mother from further harm. I read the epilogue of Let It Bleed in which Dean regretted his decision after all that has happened. As for the one you assumed that looks like him, some of his unit told me that he has an imprint of raw power protruding from his chest. I also read earlier books detailing on how you grew up without a father most of your life in which you had assumed that the captain's past self fathered you, but your mother kept brushing it off."
"The man who restored my memories told me that Dean Winchester was my father the whole time in which he killed my mother by melting the eyes out of her skull. He was also gloating on how he goaded an angel to seal up Heaven."
"It was Metatron, wasn't it? I read details about his power trip in chapter eight of Holy Terror."
"Ben!"
The sound of footsteps were heard as Nibori turned around and took the gun from the attacker's hands. Pulling his own on him, she wasn't about to be shot as she noticed an albino Draaza running to his aid. Nibori spotted the albino Draaza with a white and cyan comb and blue eyes standing next to Ben as she was dressed in a grey robe in which she was clutching at her stomach. It was a complicated position as Nibori was caught in the middle of discovering what was further in the mountains on the sly. As for the man himself, he was tall with black hair, brown eyes, and a beard while dressed in a military-style uniform that is mainly used for operations.
"Back away!" yelled the Draaza woman.
"The man called Ben pulled a gun on me first, not the other way around," said Nibori defensively.
"Borta," he said. "You shouldn't be up and about in your condition."
"What?" said Nibori as she saw the Draaza woman clutching at her stomach. "She's pregnant, isn't she?"
"Ben and I have been around my family since he stowed away with us. My aunts have even artificially inseminated themselves with the semen that was procured when they abducted him after the fall of Dick Roman. Even though they died on Alecrast, their descendants thrived through the centuries in which the savior was born from them."
Without further warning, the sound of footsteps came forth as Nibori spotted Dean and Desna standing in front of her attackers. Ben saw Dean up close as he never expected him to be pulling a gun on him and Borta, for he had to protect the base, regardless of the situation.
"Hands up, asshat!" he yelled as Ben obeyed him.
"You're making a mistake, Dean!" he yelled back.
"Pulling a gun on a member of the Order is a big mistake!"
"Tell me the truth, Dean. Is it true that you have some sort of imprint on your chest? As I recall, Mom told me about how you tattooed that pentagram on your chest to prevent demons from possessing you."
"Honestly, the Dean Winchester of Old has been dead for centuries," said Desna. "As for you and your Draaza lover, you have committed an attack against a member of the Order."
"It was in self defense," said Borta. "Ben and I have been awakened in which we had to live in the shadows while hunting for game before going to our place. We went through so much since the young master's parents were killed, only to see them buried by the locals who honored their memory in one of the cemeteries. We woke up a year ago and were eager to start a family, for we're all-"
Without warning, Borta felt a stabbing pain as Dean noticed her to be going into labor. As captain of his unit, he had to do something as he and Desna escorted the albino Draaza out of the derelict with Ben and Nibori following. It was going to be a long day as the would-be attackers were about to be helped by the ones who occupied the Dabb Mountains, for a new life was about to unfold…
I woke up in one of the beds in the sickbay as I heard the sound of screaming coming towards one of the operating rooms next to this compartment. Getting up, I was on my feet as I saw Reuben and Mason rushing into the room with several members of the Medical Corps scrambling to make a delivery. To my shock, I saw Nibori waiting out in the hall as she had the device that she found in her hands. What I also didn't expect was that I noticed Ben sitting in a chair as he was worried about Borta, who was suffering the effects of the lingering labor she had. Peeking through the doors of the operating room, I saw Borta dressed in a hospital gown as she had her legs spread in which she was due to give birth to her baby.
Second after second, Borta was pushing hard as she felt the baby's head coming out in which Reuben gently pulled it out, but I sensed that it wasn't breathing. I had to do something as I burst into the operating room and gently touched the baby's head and gave it mouth to mouth the moment I pressed its chest to allow breath into it. Just as all hope was lost, I heard the baby's cries as it filled the room in which I was later chased out by the rest of the Medical Corps, who were all dressed in their scrubs. Reuben was thankful that I saved the baby's life as he gently cut the umbilical cord and tied it up before wrapping it in a blanket and delivering it into an incubator, for the miracle of breath was giving the newborn humanoid a second chance of life.
"It's a boy," said Reuben as he was examining the newborn. "He has a Draaza mother and Terran father in which we have another Cetra born into the world."
"Thank the Matriarch," said Borta as she had tears of joy in her eyes. "Thank the man with silver hair for bursting in and giving my son a chance to live."
"Sorry, but we had to chase him out of the room," said Mason as he removed his surgical gloves. "Sam may be pig-headed, but if he didn't know CPR, your baby would've never made it."
"Ben… He needs to know that our son is okay. He's desperate to see him."
"We know, but the cap's gonna want you to rest in the sickbay. As for Sam, however, he's a jack of all trades in which his raw power is a blessing. He even infused some prosthetics just to replace the arm and leg that Castiel lost in the Zetian ambush."
Reuben saw Ben waiting with worry as he was concerned about Borta and the newborn baby that was delivered earlier. Going out of the operating room, he saw him sitting there as he was worried about his new family that was found. The stress had turned to joy as Ben saw Borta and their newborn son being taken to the maternity ward Mason and the other Medical Corps staff in which he wanted to see them so badly, for he had a responsibility to uphold when it came to his family.
"Your son wasn't breathing, but my pig-headed half-brother went in without scrubs to give your baby some CPR," said Reuben.
"Is my baby alive?" asked Ben.
"He's alive with a shock of white hair and blue eyes in which he's a Cetra that nearly died."
"Thank God…"
Ben was elated that Borta and his newborn son were alive as he wanted to be with them after all that has happened. As for the other problem at hand, Reuben was eager to give me a piece of his mind after rushing into the operating room to save the baby from certain death, but stayed his hand. He was grateful that I performed that miracle as he was starting to have more faith in me, for I was the savior who used my raw power to help those in need after all…
I was in a waiting room as I was examining the recording device that Nibori found earlier. Watching the footage of the Draaza scientist artificially inseminating herself with my past self's seed was something that was out of the records until now. It was ancient evidence that my past self's legacy was preserved for a reason in which I later noticed another entry that was recorded, for I wanted to know what the Draaza scientist was doing for the longest time.
"Data log number 040812," said another female Draaza on screen. "We have reached Alecrast after our ship landed there due to our stasis for the trip. "It has been a hundred years since we found Sam Winchester after the end of Dick Roman and the rest of the Leviathan threat in which we harvested his seed for further use. It is the most we can do after the disappearance of our closest friend, Henry Winchester in 1958, but we can't let his legacy die at the hands of those who lurk in the shadows. Once Elphana and I inseminate ourselves with Sam Winchester's seed, we will raise our Cetra children to greater prominence in which it is read in the prophecy that was painted in the Men of Letters bunker in Lebanon, Kansas. John Winchester is dead at the hands of Azazel, but his legacy in the form of his younger son will live forever, I swear of it. We owe Henry Winchester and the rest of the Men of Letters for saving us time and again in which the monsters on Earth have ravaged it for centuries." I see another entry appear on the screen of the recording device. "Data log number 042012. Elphana and I have experienced symptoms of our joint pregnancies in which we will have our children born here on Alecrast. As for the rest of our people, they will be going farther to the stars in which they are protecting Lord Rogyatsohilos before the intruders with black eyes catch up to them. The human race has traversed the stars, but there are those among them that have monstrous traits in which the lore from Earth had followed in the cosmos. I pray that our unborn children will combat what stowed away in the colonist ships soon enough..."
I turned off the recording as I was shocked to hear about the seed and legacy that my past self was forced to harvest. The missing link was clear as the Draaza scientist and her wife were preserving the Winchester Legacy all along, for they believed in the Destiny of Worlds just as everyone who foretold of my birth years ago.
"They put your past self through the ringer, didn't they?" said Nibori.
"I bear no ill will towards the harvesters, but I know that they were preserving the Winchester Legacy after what happened in the Elder Slaughter of 1958," I said.
"I read about the Draaza coming for your past self in the epilogue of Survival of the Fittest. They were desperate after searching for continuation of the Winchester Legacy in which one of them lamented the tragedy that destroyed the Men of Letters. In the following book, We Need to Talk About Kevin, the Draaza scientists were harvesting his seed for preservation before dropping him off in a town called Kermit, Texas."
It wasn't long until Dean entered into the waiting room as he was wanting to know more about the situation at hand. Even though he was the captain in his Hunter Corps unit, he was also wanting to discover more of the Draaza ship that was embedded in the Dabb Mountains as he was also dealing with Ben's ramblings about him being like his past self in the Elder Days, for he was no stranger in dealing with hostile locals, humanoid or monster, that come and disturb the townsfolk who live here.
"I've been dealing with the Brawny ad reject since we got them here," he said.
"You're in a mode," said Nibori.
"That guy, Ben, keeps mistaking me for my past self who's been dead for a long time, but he still believes me to be him."
"You do attract trouble everywhere you go," I said.
"Says the tall, silver-haired guy who has to deal with it on a daily basis."
"I saw the logs of what the Draaza scientists were doing to my past self in which they took him, harvested his seed, dropped him off in a dull Texas town, took off to parts unknown, and inseminated themselves with what they had. They did something that shaped our present in which they owed Henry Winchester and the Men of Letters after all that they've done for them."
"Then that means…"
"Dean and I are not just Terran, but Cetra ourselves. We have cells from both humanoid and Draaza in our bodies. We have blood of both humanoid and Draaza in our veins. Our bodies have sustained so much in which it's more than enough to turn the tide in what is going on in this war."
It wasn't long until we saw Ben rush into the waiting room as he was adamant into confronting Dean at the last minute. Both men were locked in a state of both mistaken identity and belief as Nibori and I were most likely to intervene if things got out of hand. I sensed a but of animosity in them as I also had to stop their bickering if things got sideways, for I wanted a peaceful solution in this debacle soon enough.
"It's time to tell the truth, Dean," said Ben.
"You're mistaken…, again," he said.
"I remember you clearly in which you had a pentagram tattoo on your chest in which you showed Mom. I thought it was cool to get one, but when I lost my memories of you, I lived a normal life until that Mr. Rogers wannabe brought back the trauma that my mom and I suffered from."
"Look, you overgrown lumberjack, if you want proof that I'm not the Dean Winchester of Old from the Elder Days…," Dean takes off his jacket and shirt as he revealed the imprint of raw power that was protruding from his chest. "Then here's your proof!" Ben was shocked to see the truth as he was left speechless. "You don't see the Winchester sigil on my body, but this imprint has been with me since I was saved by my brother who has all that raw power in him. I was younger at the time when some asshat tried to steal tombstones that earmarked the dead at Kripke Shrine in which I took an arrow and was on the verge of death. At the last minute, Sam used his raw power and saved my ass in which I dodged a bullet. I lived with a purpose to protect him just as much as you have a purpose to protect that Draaza albino and her baby. We all have something to protect, for the future is ours to safeguard in this time of crisis."
Ben was shocked to see Dean with the imprint of raw power on him before as he saw me standing firm with the jewelled sigil on my forehead. He was out of his element as he was there staring at me in which he was thankful that my presence was needed in which I was glowing due to the raw power that I had, for my presence as a miracle worker was there to stay…
