Ex-Princess of Anarchy

"Jax?" Scar called as he stormed out of the clubhouse. She ran after him calling his name.

"I gotta go find Ope," he answered as he swung his leg over his bike.

"I am coming with you," she said as she crossed to his bike.

"I need you to stay here and stay near Chibs. He will keep you safe till I get back," he responded as he buckled his helmet.

"Like hell! Ope is my family too. If he is in trouble, I am coming," she said as she swung her leg behind him.

"Fine, but if we find trouble, you to get out of there. You run and you do not look back. Am I clear?" he said sternly.

"Yes," she responded as she wrapped her arms around his waist. "Let's go!"

Jax sighed before starting his bike and peeling out of the parking lot towards Ope's house.

"Opie! Donna! Kids!" Scar yelled as she jumped off the back of Jax's bike. "Opie! Where are you?"

"Scar, key under the mat," Jax said as he walked onto the porch. Scar grabbed the key and tried to jam it into the lock before Jax took the key from her and opened the door.

"Opie! Donna!" Scar yelled running through the house.

"Ope!" Jax called as he looked around.

"Jax, I don't see anything. Just boxes," she said panicked as she walked back towards the kitchen.

"Shit," she heard him say.

"What?" she asked as she crossed to him. "Is that one of Stahl's cards?"

"It is. Let's go talk to Unser. See what he knows," he said as he walked back outside. "Put my helmet on. Let me talk to the neighbor." Scar nodded and headed over to his bike and pulled Jax's helmet on her head.

"What did the neighbor say?" she asked as Jax walked over to her and buckled the helmet under her chin.

"They were all pulled out of here late last night with unmarked SUVs. No cuffs," he sighed.

"Ope is not a rat," she bit.

"I know he isn't. I think he is being framed as one," he sighed in response. "Come on. Let's go. I want to drop you off before going to the station."

"Jax," she started.

"No, he could be there. I want you at the clubhouse or in the office for the shop," he said sternly.

"Ok. I will go in the office and work," she sighed in defeat.

"Thank you," he sighed before mounting his bike and starting it before reaching his hand out and helping onto the back of the bike.

"What are you doing here? I thought you left with Jax?" Gemma asked as Scar walked into the office.

"He has to go talk to Unser and he doesn't want me near the precinct right now," she answered as she dropped on to the couch.

"When is your next appointment for your hand?" Gemma asked as she turned the desk chair to look at her.

"On Saturday," Scar answered.

"How is it feeling?"

"It is slightly sore still, but no serious pain."

"That is good. Hopefully the cast won't last too much longer."

"I hope not. It makes it hard to do some of my day-to-day stuff with it on. My shower took way too long this morning because I had to wrap it with a bag and then washing my hair with one hand was quite a battle."

"Why didn't you ask Jax to help you?"

"Next time I plan to," Scar laughed as someone knocked on the door.

"What can I help you with Kip?" Scar asked with a smile.

"There is a woman heading this way and she does not look happy," he said quickly before leaving quickly.

"Gemma," a quick knock came.

"Mary, what are you doing here?" Gemma asked.

"I was hoping you could tell me," she started as she entered the office more. "I got a call from the Feds asking me to pick my grandkids up from the Department of Justice facility in Stockton."

"The kids are in a facility," Scar asked, shock written all over her face. "Where is Donna?"

"Apparently the whole family is there. I can't get a hold of Piney. I figured Gemma could shed some light as to why I had to schlep my ass seventy-five miles," she responded irritably. The sound of a bike coming in drew their attention out the window and they spotted Jax returning on his bike.

"Let's find out," Gemma said as she stood gingerly from her chair and walked out to Jax.

"What are you doing back here? I thought you left for college?" Mary asked, directing her attention to Scar.

"My father had a heart attack. My professors are allowing me to finish everything from here. I graduate in a few weeks. Since my degree is in Business, Gemma and Clay asked for some assistance with running the shop and I need a job and the money. So, win-win," Scar responded.

"Surprised they let you back on the property after what you did," Mary smirked.

"All I did was leave for college. Nothing was holding me back from that, not even the club," Scar answered as she turned and walked out the door towards Jax and Gemma.

"Mary," Jax said politely as he wrapped his arm around Scar's waist and pulled her to his side.

"What did my kid do this time?" Mary asked with a disgruntled look.

"That is what I am trying to figure out. He hasn't done anything," he responded.

"I find that hard to believe. I am going to go get my grandkids. If you hear anything, I will be at the house," she said quickly before crossing to her car and leaving.

"Hey darlin'," Jax said quietly as he placed a kiss on her forehead.

"What happened? Why are they all at a facility?" Scar asked nervously.

"I think Stahl is trying to hang Opie as a rat," Jax responded as he ran his hand through his hair. I need to go fill in Clay on what I found out. Stay in the office. Once I am done, we can go grab a bite to eat."

"Sounds good," Scar smiled softly before placing a kiss on his cheek and walking back towards the office.

"What did Clay say when you told him about Opie?" Scar asked as she sat next to Jax on the picnic table.

"He said Stahl is doing a hell of a job. She cleared all Opie's debt via a federal wire transfer," Jax sighed.

"Stahl is a bitch. I cannot wait for her to stop with all this and get the hell out of town," she exclaimed as she picked up a fry.

"Hey, I won't let anything happen to Opie. You know that right?" he asked as he wrapped his arm around her.

"I know. All of this is just so fucked up," she sighed. "Excited for little man to come home tomorrow?"

"Excited and nervous as hell. After he comes home, it's just me," he sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair.

"Hey, it is us. I don't have plans on going anywhere," she smiled as she bumped into his shoulder.

"I am lucky to have you," he smiled before leaning down and planting a kiss on her lips.

"Take me home Teller. I need some sleep for the party tomorrow," she laughed as they broke a part.

"Gemma, where do you want this?" Scar asked as she carried a vegetable tray out from the kitchen.

"Find a spot on the dining room table," Gemma shouted back.

"Easier said then done," Scar laughed as she looked at the table.

"Here, you give me this and then go get dressed," Tara laughed as she took the tray from Scar.

"Thank you! People will be here soon, and I would rather not be in a messy bun and slippers," Scar laughed before running down the hall to change quickly.

"Scar, people are here!" Gemma shouted five minutes later.

"Coming!" Scar yelled back as pulled her jacket on over her sundress.

"Don't you look nice," Tara said as Scar walked back into the living room. Scar looked around and saw some of the other members from other charters sitting around talking and she nodded a greeting to them.

"Scar, Opie is here," Tara said drawing her attention.

"Where?" Scar asked looking around the living room.

"Just pulled up," Tara responded before Scar bolted out the door and tackled Ope.

"Let me up you crazy woman," Ope laughed as he hugged her back.

"I was so worried!" she said softly.

"I am ok sis. Now let's get you back inside before your bodyguards come after me for keeping you out here," he said seriously.

"You are right. I can feel Happy glaring from here," she laughed before she let Opie help her off the ground.

"Scar," Donna said with a smile.

"Donna," Scar responded with a hug. "Let's get back in there. The guest of honor should be here soon. "

"That went surprisingly well," Gemma said as she sat in the kitchen.

"You better knock-on wood," Scar laughed as she worked on the dishes.

"Looks like we need more trash bags," Tara called from the living room.

"I can go grab some. Ope wants to get the kids home and in bed," Donna said from the dining room table.

"I'll go with you," Scar said as she turned off the water and dried her hands.

"Take Happy with you," Gemma added.

"He has had way too much to drink to drive. We will have Opie stop on the way to the house, drop him and the kids off and drive right back. We won't be long. I promise," Scar said walking over and kissing her cheek.

"You are to call me at the sight of any trouble," Gemma said sternly.

"I think Donna and I can handle ourselves," Scar said with a smile.

"I am serious," Gemma said sternly.

"I know. We will be safe. I promise," Scar responded as she hooked her arm in Donna's and followed her lead to the truck.

"We are going to have to squish," Donna said as they reached the truck.

"We will be fine," Scar smiled. "Won't we Opie?"

"Jax is going to murder me. You do know that, right?" Opie said as they all crammed into his truck.

"Let me handle the prince. I am not alone and you will be there for over half of the time. It is fine Ope," Scar answered as she closed the door.

"If you say so," Opie sighed as he started the truck and pulled off.

"Don't be such a worry wart," Scar smirked.

"I can't believe Opie tried to go all protective bear on you," Donna laughed. "I mean I understand why, but what could possibly go wrong this late at night with us driving from my house back to Jax's?"

"Who knows anymore. It was kind of amusing," Scar responded as her phone went off. "A hundred dollars this is Gemma or Jax."

"I don't take bets I know I will lose," Donna laughed.

"I missed you girl," Scar said with a laugh as she read the text on her phone. "We have to get back to the house. Jax is about to send a search party out."

"You really do have that boy wrapped around your finger," Donna smirked.

"I regret leaving the way I did, but if I hadn't, Jax wouldn't have Abel," Scar smiled looking over at Donna.

"You already love that little boy don't you?" Donna asked.

"Oh, he has me wrapped around that little finger of his," Scar laughed as they pulled up to a red light.

"Tell his highness we will be there in five," Donna laughed. "But on a serious note, if you are serious with Jax and about staying, I think you could do some real good in Abel's life."

"Thank you, Donna," Scar said as she looked over at her. Something behind them caught her eye and Scar looked just in time to shout, "GUN!" as she pulled Donna down to the floor of the truck with her.
