Gunfire rang out across the streets. What once was a celebration of peace was now a declaration of war.

People's screams ran through the air as many fled for cover.

Blood and bodies littered the ground. Bullets lined the street, as shells piled amoung a line of boots.

These boots belonged to a villain group known as the Kalahari. They were a newer group that had a high catastrophe level. Heros tried and tried but never could stop them.

I stood watch on a building near the street. The shadows of darkness hide me from out of sight. I waited for the moment to strike. Eventhough the Kalahari were a new gang, they were able to easily out smart their opponents. This made me job harder.

Nemesis, everyone is in place awaiting your comand.

I looked around and saw my people waiting. Jasper (Ares) was positioned on the building to the left of my position. His gun was placed on the ledge and awaited my comand.

Aethen (Erebus) stood in the shadows near the group. He looked at me with his green eyes. I nodded.

He slowly moved through the shadows. The Kalahari were busy showing off as Erebus moved behind the leader. Erebus grabbed the leaders head and swiftly slit his throat. Blood began to pool as Erebus placed him on the ground.

He left once again blending in the shadows. His quirk allowed him the bend/manipulate the shadows. This made missions easier, but also caused him some stress.

Erebus gave me the thumbs up. I jumped fromnthe building I was on, into a dark allyway. There I awaited the Kalahari to make their next moves.

It was silent. The Kalahari had stopped talking.

What are they up to...

Suddenly, I got pulled back out of the shadows. A man had grabbed my arm and twisted it behind me back.

"Well boys, look what we h as very here!" The man said. The others looked at him and then at me. Thankfully they couldn't see me face because of my mask.

One of the men grabbed my chin and forced my head up. He removed my mask.

"She's pretty, ain't she?" He said. I quickly kicked my legs out. It surprised the guy, as he was thrown back.

"Oh~ Fiesty and cute."

"Boss, I think we got a keeper," another guy said.

Silence*

"Boss?" The group turned around to find there leader laying still in a pool of blood.

"What the...BOSS!?"

"What did you do?!" The same guy asked.

I smirked. "Nothing that wasn't deserved," I answered.

Suddenly a shot rang out. The flew in the air fast. I quickly ducked as it struck the head of the guy holding me. His body collapsed on the floor.

As soon as the other members saw this, they began to run. But Ares was not going to let that stop him. He fired again abd again.

1..2..3..4 shots flew. Each striking a member of the Kalahari. Soon no one remained.

Ares stepped over the bodies as he joined my in the street. Erebus joined a little later. 12 bodies layed on the ground. 6 were citizens whose lives had been taken. The other 6 were the members of the Kalahari.

"What do we do with the bodies?" Ares asked.

I thought for a moment. " Take the bodies of the Kalahari members, put in a pike and burn them. As for the citizens, place each in sleeping position. Allow them to identified easily so their family members have closer."

"Ok," Ares answered. Erebus, Ares and I gathered the bodies. A large gap separated the citizens from the Kalahari. Ares arranged the bodies of the citizens as Erebus burned those of the Kalahari. His power not only allowed him to move through shadows, it also allowed him to create fire. This gave us the advantage when it came to things like this.

"Eraserhead," detective Tsukauchi called.

"What is it?"

The detective handed Eraserhead a peice of paper. The hero read it carefully.

"Rose's Thornes. Were there any roses left this time?" He asked.

"Yes." The detective Tsukauchi held up 3 roses. Each with a different color. One was red, one was orange, and the last was purple. These roses represented a member of the Rose's Thornes.

"Were there any finger prints?"

"No."

"Blood evidence?"

"No."

"Security footage?"

"No. The cameras were hacked before the Kalahari were killed."

"Shit," Eraserhead said.

Detective Tsukauchi walked away as Eraserhead examined the card.

Who are you? Why are you doing this.

Card:

Heros are nothing more then villains. The Kalahari have killed hundreds of people and yet you "heros" did nothing.

If you did your job, we wouldn't have too.
